The Chinese tech giant shared a teaser image on X (formerly Twitter). In the tweet, the brand announced that the Vivo Y200e is the first smartphone in India to feature the durable Eco-Fiber leather panel on the back. This basically means that the device will feature a faux leather design on the rear, which adds to its premium feel. The teaser also showcases the smartphone with the Eco-Fiber leather in an orange color variant.

For those unaware, it is expected to arrive in a Blue color option as well, but this design could be exclusive to the orange version. Vivo is set to announce the new handset on 22nd February 2024. The Vivo Y200e 5G smartphone is set to launch in India on February 22 — Thursday. Ahead of its official debut, a leak from tipster Abhishek Yadav has revealed the pricing of the device for the Indian market.

The tipster seemingly shared what looks like an official marketing material for the smartphone. It shows that the Vivo Y200e will have an MRP (maximum retail price) of Rs 23,999 for the 6 GB +128 GB variant and Rs 25,999 for the 8 GB +128 GB variant in India.

The leaked poster also sheds light on some key specifications of the device. The Vivo Y200e will feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display and powering the device will be the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset.

After several leaks and official teasers, Vivo has finally revealed when it will launch the Vivo Y200e 5G in India. The announcement comes after the release of the new 256GB variant of the vanilla Y200 5G.

The Vivo Y200e 5G for India will be somewhat identical to the recently launched Vivo Y100 5G in Indonesia. The device is also expected to be released as Vivo V30 lite 5G, Vivo V30 SE 5G, and Vivo V40 SE 5G in other markets.

Recent reports have revealed that the brand is working on a new phone dubbed the Vivo Y200 5G. The said device was recently spotted at the Bluetooth SIG certification and Geekbench. Now, 91mobiles has spotted the Google Play Console listing of the Vivo Y200e 5G.

The Vivo Y200e 5G’s Play Console listing has an image of the device. As can be seen, it has revealed the front and rear design of the smartphone. On the front, it has a punch-hole screen and the blue-colored back panel has a rectangle module housing three cameras and an LED flash.

The overall design of the phone is like the Vivo Y200 5G. However, one significant difference is that the Y200 5G has a dual-camera setup, whereas the Y200e has an extra camera.

The Play Console listing mentions that the model number of the device as V2327. Just as the Geekbench listing did, the Play Console listing reveals that the device is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip. The SoC is mentioned with the model number SM4450 in the listing.

It further reveals that the Y200e 5G has an FHD+ display, but it is not clear whether it has an AMOLED or LCD panel. Most likely, it will have an AMOLED screen like the Y200. In addition, the listing reveals that the device has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.

The new Vivo Y200e model is reportedly in the works. The device in question was recently spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification earlier today (23rd January 2024), and now, it has also been spotted on a popular benchmarking platform.

Back in October 2023, the Chinese smartphone maker unveiled the Vivo Y200 model in the Indian market. Now, it appears another model in the Y200 series is set to launch soon. In a GeekBench database (spotted by 91Mobiles), the Vivo Y200e was spotted carrying the model number V2336, which is the same as the number found on the Bluetooth SIG certification listing. These sightings also hint that the launch could be near.

The listing confirms that the Vivo Y200e will support 5G networking thanks to its Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, which is paired with Adreno 613 GPU. This chipset visited GeekBench with 8GB of RAM and running on Android 14 OS based Funtouch OS custom skin. The listing confirms that the device will be called the Vivo Y200e 5G when it arrives on the market. The moniker of the device suggests that it could be positioned lower than the existing Vivo Y200 5G handset.
