The device was <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/05/17/exclusive-vivo-preparing-launch-new-y28s-5g/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">previously spotted</a> by us in Vivo&#8217;s software code with model number “<strong>V2346</strong>.” The device has now made its appearance on the benchmarking site Geekbench, shedding light on the specifications.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="664" height="826" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/vivo-Y28s-5G-Geekbench.webp?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-631184" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/vivo-Y28s-5G-Geekbench.webp 664w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/vivo-Y28s-5G-Geekbench-241x300.webp 241w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/vivo-Y28s-5G-Geekbench-338x420.webp 338w" sizes="(max-width: 664px) 100vw, 664px" /><figcaption>via MySmartPrice</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The model, identified as <strong>V2346</strong> in the Geekbench 6.3.0 benchmark tests, scored 599 for single-core and 1707 for multi-core. These scores suggest the phone is equipped with an octa-core processor and a Mali G57 GPU, likely featuring MediaTek&#8217;s Dimensity 6300 or 6080 chipset.</p>

<p>Additionally, the benchmark listing reveals that the Vivo Y28s will come with 8 GB of RAM and run on the Android 14 operating system. In addition to these details, the smartphone has also picked up the Bureau of Indian Standards certification, hinting at an imminent launch. The device is expected to launch in other markets besides India. Its previous sighting on China&#8217;s CQC certification website revealed that it features 15W fast charging.</p>
