Vivo has expanded its Y300 series with a new model. The Vivo Y300 Pro+ just debuted in the brand’s home market of China. While it arrives with various features that are attractive for its price tag, its humongous battery pack is one of its biggest highlights. Vivo Y300 Pro+ Specs

The Chinese tech giant launched the Vivo Y300 Pro+ with a tall 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and, HDR10+, FHD+ resolution, and up to 5000 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, it is equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, which is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. For photography, the rear features a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor and a 2MP depth shooter while the front houses a 32MP selfie shooter.

One of the highlighting aspects of the Vivo Y300 Pro+ is its massive 7300mAh battery pack, which supports 90W wired fast charging. This is easily one of the biggest batteries in any recent commercial phone. Other notable features include Bluetooth 5.2, stereo speakers, NFC, dual SIM (nano + nano), WiFi 6, Aura light LED Ring, and Android 15 OS based OriginOS 15 custom skin out of the box.

Pricing and Availability

The Vivo Y300 Pro+ has just announced been announced in multiple color options, namely Star Silver, Simple Black, and Micro Pink. It can also be purchased in four storage configurations, so here are its pricing:

• 8GB + 256GB – 1999 Yuan (roughly 275 US Dollars)

The device is currently on sale in the Chinese market but it is expected to debut in India as the iQOO Z10.

Additionally, it appeared on Geekbench, confirming the presence of the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. While these listings suggested an upcoming launch, the device’s final name remained unknown. However, the V2456A has now surfaced in China Telecom’s product library, confirming that it will debut as the Vivo Y300 Pro+. The listing has also disclosed key specifications, color options, pricing details, and the expected release timeline before its March 31 launch date.

Vivo Y300 Pro+ pricing, colour variants, and availability details (rumored)

According to the listing, the Vivo Y300 Pro+ will launch in China on March 31, with sales commencing on April 3. It will be available in three colour options: Simple Black, starry silver, and Micro Pink.

The smartphone is expected to be available in three configurations, with a starting price of 1,799 CNY (~ $275) for the base model. The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant may cost around 2,199 CNY ~$300), while the top-end 12GB RAM + 512GB storage version is listed at 2,499 CNY (~ $345). However, these prices are yet to be officially confirmed and may change at launch.

Vivo Y300 Pro+ specifications (rumored)

The Y300 Pro+ is said to feature a 6.77-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution (2392 x 1080 pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate. For photography, it is expected to sport a 32-megapixel front camera, while the rear setup consists of a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. It is expected to be available in multiple configurations, including 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage. The device also includes a 7,300mAh battery with 90W fast charging support.

On the software front, the Y300 Pro+ will run on Android 15 with OriginOS 5 on top. The smartphone will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner for security. It measures 163.4 x 76.4 x 7.89mm and weighs 199 grams.

Meanwhile, iQOO has confirmed that it will launch the iQOO Z10 in India on April 11. The Z10 is set to feature a 7,300mAh battery, similar to the Y300 Pro+. This suggests that the Z10 could be a rebranded version of the Y300 Pro+ for the Indian market

The above poster reveals that the Vivo Y300 Pro+ will feature a quad-curved AMOLED panel and a round camera module on the back. It will be available in black, pink, and blue shades.

Leaked information that surfaced earlier this month has revealed that the Y300 Pro+ will be equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, a 32-megapixel front camera, and an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel dual camera.

Recently, a Vivo phone with model number V2456A surfaced with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip, 12 GB of RAM, and Android 15 on Geekbench. The same device was recently approved by China’s 3C certification authority, revealing that it may ship with a 90W charger. This V2456A phone appears to be the Vivo Y300 Pro+, scheduled for a late March launch.

Tipster Experience More recently released a Weibo post to leak the key details of the Z10 series, Y300 GT, and Y300 Pro+.  

iQOO Z10 series specifications leaked

As revealed by the tipster, the iQOO Z10 Turbo is expected to be equipped with the Dimensity 8400 chipset and a 7,600mAh battery with 80W fast charging. The Z10 Turbo Pro, which is expected to launch alongside the Z10 Turbo, could feature the upcoming Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset, paired with a 7,000mAh battery supporting 120W fast charging.

The iQOO Z10 is likely to be powered by the forthcoming Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip and offer 90W wired charging. On the other hand, the Z10x may come with an LCD screen, a Dimensity 7300 chip, and 44W charging. However, a previous leak claimed that it would feature a new MediaTek chip. Notably, all models except the Z10x are expected to feature OLED panels.

While the Turbo-branded models are expected to make their debut in April, reports suggest that the Z10 and Z10x variants could be released in Q3 2025.

Vivo Y300 GT and Y300 Pro+ details emerge

Screenshots reveal that the upcoming Vivo V2454A and V2454DA smartphones have been certified by China’s 3C authority. The similarity in their model numbers, with the latter featuring an additional “D,” suggests that they are likely variants of the same device rather than entirely different models.

Both devices have been spotted with 90W rapid charging support. While their exact identity is unknown, the V2454A / V2454DA could be the upcoming Vivo X200S or X200 Ultra. It is advisable to wait for further reports to confirm their final marketing name.

V2456A – Could be Vivo Y300 Pro+

The forthcoming Vivo V2456A phone, which was previously seen in the Geekbench AI database, has now been approved by China’s 3C regulatory body. The listing suggests that it may also support 90W fast charging.

To recall, the V2456A previously appeared on Geekbench with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip. A recent leak revealed that Vivo is working on a Y300 Pro+ phone featuring the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3.
