Vivo is gearing up to launch a new budget-oriented Y-series device in India. The device dubbed the Vivo Y75 4G is rumored to debut in India on May 22. Vivo India has put out a teaser video for the upcoming device while at the same time, tipster Paras Guglani has leaked the entire spec sheet of the Y75 4G.

According to the leak, the Vivo Y75 will come with a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The device will feature an octa-core MediaTek Helio G96 SoC that comes with the Mali G57 GPU. The Y75 4G will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and will also feature a microSD card slot that supports up to 1TB memory expansion.

Powering the device will be a 4050mAh battery with 44W fast charging support and a USB Type-C connector. It will operate on Android 11-based FunTouchOS 12.

For optics, the smartphone will feature a triple camera unit on the back, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary snapper, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, it will feature a powerful 44-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls. The camera system will offer access to multiple modes like Slo-motion, Time-lapse, Live Photo, Dual Exposure, Dual View, Hi-Res 50-megapixel, etc.

Other than that, the device will offer Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band WiFi, a speaker setup with Hi-Res Audio Certification, and it will likely omit the 3.5-mm audio jack. It will measure 160.87×74.28 ×7.4mm and weigh 172 grams. Lastly, it will come in two color options, namely, Dancing Waves and Moonlight Shadow.

Earlier this year, Vivo launched the Y75 5G mid-range smartphone in India. The device features the Dimensity 700 SoC, 5,000mAh battery, and a 50MP primary camera.

Now, a 91mobiles report has revealed the existence of the Vivo Y75 4G variant along with its design and specs.

Going by the leaked image, the upcoming smartphone has a flat display with a dew-drop notch and noticeable bezels. The right side holds the power button and volume rocker, while the back panel of the device remains under wraps.

According to the report, the smartphone has a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. Although the screen is a bit smaller than the 6.58-inch IPS LCD panel on the Vivo Y75 5G, it is overall an upgrade due to the 4G variant using an AMOLED panel.

Under the hood, the smartphone features a MediaTek Helio G96 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The RAM can also be extended up to 4GB using the Virtual RAM feature. It is unclear if the device offers a microSD card slot like the 5G counterpart.

For optics, the smartphone brings a 50MP primary sensor paired with an 8MP secondary camera and another auxiliary camera with 2MP resolution. On the front, the device is rumored to house a 44-megapixel snapper for selfies and video calls.

The device is revealed to measure just 7.36mm thick and weigh 172 grams. A major downgrade from the 5G variant is the battery capacity on the Vivo Y75 4G. It packs a battery unit of 4,020mAh capacity with 44W fast charging support which is significantly smaller than the 5000mAh capacity on the 5G device.
