Yesterday, the Vivo Y5s was spotted with full specifications on China Telecom’s website. Today, the smartphone has been officially listed on the website of Vivo China. The full specifications and pricing of the phone has now been confirmed.

Vivo Y5s Specifications and Features

The Vivo Y5sv smartphone comes with an IPS LCD display of 6.53 inches. The waterdrop notch screen offers full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, 394ppi pixel density and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The smartphone promises a screen space of 90.3 percent.

The Helio P65 chipset with its 2.0GHz octa-core processor powers the smartphone. The SoC is coupled with 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The native storage of the device is 128 GB. For additional storage, user can make use of its microSD card slot.

The rear shell of the phone features an LED flash equipped with AI triple camera system. It comprises of a 16-megapixel main lens with f/1.78 aperture and PDAF, an f/2.2 aperture 120-degree 8-megapixel superwide lens that can also capture macro shots with 4cm focal length and a 2-megapxiel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the frontside of the Vivo Y5s is an AI 16-megapixel selfie camera. The Android 9 Pie OS coupled with FunTouch OS 9.2 UI runs on the Vivo Y5s. There is Multi Turbo technology onboard for smoother overall performance. For gaming, it comes with Game Magic Box feature. The power button of the phone when double tapped launches the Jovi AI assistant. A long press on the screen can quickly identify and intelligently extract information for scheduling reminder, viewing more details, booking hotels, viewing flights and more.

The rear side of the Vivo Y5s features a fingerprint reader. The handset also supports face unlock. The connectivity features available on the device include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, microUSB and 3.5mm audio jack.

Vivo Y5s Price and Release Date

The Vivo Y5s has gone official in China with a price tag of 1,498 Yuan (~$213). Apart from gradient colors of blue and green, the Vivo Y5s also comes in black color.

The Vivo Y5s is the rebranded version of the Vivo Y19 smartphone that has recently gone official in Thailand.

Vivo has launched a new smartphone called Vivo V17 Neo in Russia. It is the same phone that is available in China as Vivo Y7s and in Indonesia as Vivo S1. The smartphone comes with a waterdrop-style notch screen, triple rear cameras and a big battery.

Vivo V17 Neo Specifications and Features

The Vivo V17 Neo features a 6.38-inch S-AMOLED display that offer 19.5:9 aspect ratio and full HD+ resolution. It offers a screen-to-body ratio 90 percent. The smartphone carries support for Always-On Display feature. A fingerprint scanner is embedded under the display of the phone.

The front notch of the phone features a 32-megapixel selfie camera that is equipped with AI Beauty for shooting impressive selfie shots. The smartphone is equipped with a triple camera setup on its rear. It has a primary lens of 16-megapixel Sony IMX499 primary lens, a wide-angle lens of 8-megapixel with a field-of-view of 120 degrees and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Vivo V17 Neo Price and Availability

Pearl Blue and Brilliant Black that features attractive diamond-cut design are the two color editions of the Vivo V17 Neo. The smartphone is available in Russia with a price tag of RUB 19,990 (~$313).

The Vivo V17 Neo will be debuting as Vivo S1 in India on Aug. 7. Rumors are rife that the Chinese firm will be debuting Vivo V17 and V17 Pro smartphones in the near future in India.

The Vivo S1 launched in Indonesia yesterday. It will launch in India soon too. However, this phone is different from the Vivo S1 sold in China. If you reside in China and want the Indonesian version of the Vivo S1, then you should look out for the phone called the Vivo Y7s as it shares nearly all the same specs with it. The Y7s has been announced in China and will go on sale on July 20.

The specifications are nearly identical with that of the Indonesian Vivo S1, the only differences are you get more RAM on the Vivo Y7s and a 16MP selfie camera.

The Super AMOLED display is 6.38-inches in size, has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and rocks a waterdrop notch. There is an Helio P65 processor under the hood paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage which can be expanded via a MicroSD card slot (256GB max.). The Vivo Y7s has a 16MP f/2.0 selfie camera and not a 32MP selfie camera. The selfie camera has an AI beauty mode.

There are three cameras on the rear – a 16MP f/1.78 primary sensor, an 8MP f/2.2 super wide-angle camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. The Y7s has a Super HDR mode and Super Night Scene mode.

The phone has a dedicated Jovi AI button, an in-display fingerprint scanner, Face Unlock, dual-band Wi-Fi, dual SIM support, and VoLTE. There is a 4500mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. The Vivo Y7s runs FunTouch OS 9 based on Android 9 with features like Multi-Turbo and Game Mode 2.0.
