It is speculated that it could be aggressively phone like the Vivo Z1 Pro that was announced in July. A fresh leak by Smart Prix reveals that the rumored Vivo phone will be debuting in the first week of the coming as Vivo Z1X.

According to the new leak, the Vivo Z1X could be pitched as an improved version of the Vivo Z1 Pro. It is speculated that the triple camera system of the Vivo Z1X phone could be equipped with Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1 48-megapixel primary lens.
As far as other two sensors of the triple camera system of Z1X, it will be featuring an 8-megapixel f/2.2 aperture ultrawide lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor like the Vivo Z1 Pro.

Design

None of these devices jokes when it comes to beauty and builds quality. Xiaomi Mi CC9 looks like the most impressive one because it comes with premium materials as well as an impressive design. Its back cover is made of glass and it shows different light effects depending on the reflection, while the frame is made of aluminum. The main advantage of the Lenovo Z6 is its very high screen-to-body ratio: it is almost a full-screen phone except for the waterdrop notch and a very thin lower bezel. Vivo Z1 Pro is another device with an amazing design thanks to its punch-hole display, but my favorite one is the Xiaomi Mi CC9 due to its suggestive glass back. Which one do you prefer?

Display

As mentioned above, Lenovo Z6 has the best display you can expect on a midrange phone to date. It is the only mid-ranger coming with a smooth 120 Hz refresh ratio, it boasts the HDR10 technology for an amazing color reproduction as well as DCI-P3 coverage. And it is even a Super AMOLED panel with an in-display fingerprint reader. The second place goes to the Xiaomi Mi CC9, but on the paper, the color reproduction seems less impressive and it has also a lower refresh ratio. Vivo Z1 Pro has a classic IPS display just like every phone sporting a punch-hole panel, except some devices by Samsung.

Specs & Software

As it features the fastest SoC (Snapdragon 730 by Qualcomm), Lenovo Z6 should be the fastest and smoothest device. It even has a variant with 8 GB of RAM, unlike Xiaomi Mi CC9 and Vivo Z1 Pro (to be accurate, the Meitu Custom Edition of the CC9 has 8 GB of RAM). Further, Lenovo Z6 allows expanding the internal storage up to 1 TB with a micro SD. Right after, there is Vivo Z1 Pro equipped with a Snapdragon 712 that is an upgrade of the Snapdragon 710 found on the Xiaomi Mi CC9.

Camera

The most amazing cameras belong to the Xiaomi Mi CC9. It is the only to sport a main sensor with a 48 MP resolution, so at least basing on the specs on the paper, it should be able to shoot way better photos. The sensor is paired with an ultrawide lens and a depth sensor, and it even supports super slow motion videos at 960 fps. The front camera is as amazing as the rear camera with its 32 MP resolution and Meitu’s advanced selfie algorithm. Lenovo Z6’s main sensor is just a 24 MP sensor, but the phone features 2x optical zoom, unlike its rivals. So it still deserves some respect.

Battery

Vivo Z1 Pro wins the battery life comparison due to its bigger lithium unit: a mammoth 5000 mAh battery which can also be used as a power bank thanks to reverse charging.

Price

Xiaomi Mi CC9 has a €230/$260 starting price, Lenovo Z6 starts from €250/$282 and Vivo Z1 Pro costs €190/$215. At the end of the day, I would go for the Lenovo Z6 due to its amazing display, and better hardware side, even though a lot of people may prefer the Xiaomi Mi CC9 due to its amazing builds and cameras. Vivo Z1 Pro is the best handset for all those people searching for infinite battery life.

The Chinese firm hasn’t revealed the launch date of the phone yet, but it has been consistently more information on the phone through its official micro site. Recently, the smartphone was spotted in a leaked hands-on video. Now, an Indian tabloid has shared a first look video of the phone through its YouTube account. The video not only reveals the Vivo Z1 Pro in real, but also confirms some of its key specs and variants.

The video reveals that the Vivo Z1 Pro will be arriving with a 6.53-inch IPS LCD panel that will produce full HD+ resolution. What’s interesting about the display of the phone is that it features a punch-hole at its top-left corner for the selfie camera. The Snapdragon 712 mobile platform will be present under the hood of the device. As expected, the phone will be arriving with FunTouch OS 9 UI based Android 9 Pie OS. Vivo has already confirmed through the micro site of the phone that it will feature Multi Turbo technology that will assist in improving its performance while playing games.

Editor’s Pick: Vivo Z5x Review: Punch Hole Screen And Big Battery

The Vivo Z1 Pro smartphone will come equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that will support 18W dual engine fast charging. There is no USB-C port on the device. A view of the bottom edge of the phone reveals that it features an external speaker, a microUSB port, a microphone and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The rear shell of the phone has a vertical triple camera unit and an LED flash. It includes a 16-megapixel primary sensor, a secondary of 8-megapixel and another lens of 2-megapixel. A fingerprint scanner is also available on the backside of the phone. Positioned on the front is a selfie camera of 32-megapixel. The smartphone seems to be fitted with a polycarbonate rear with glossy finish.

The video also reveals that the Vivo Z1 Pro will be releasing in three variants in India such as 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM 128 GB storage. There is no information available on the pricing of these models. The Vivo Z1 Pro resembles a lot with the Vivo Z5x smartphone that was recently launched in China. Both phones have the same display, same triple rear cameras and same-sized battery. However, the Vivo Z5x is inferior to Vivo Z1 Pro since it is equipped with Snapdragon 710 chipset and 16-megapixel front camera.

Original Story continues…

Plenty of Vivo phones are waiting in the pipeline to go official. Among them is a newly spotted Vivo 1951 smartphone. A Geekbench listing of the said phone has cropped to reveal some of its key specs. The listing suggests that it is an upcoming mid-range phone from the company.

On Geekbench, the Vivo 1951 smartphone has appeared with Snapdragon 710 chipset and 6 GB of RAM. The handset is loaded with Android 9 Pie OS. In the single-core test, it has recorded a score of 1907. It has scored 5974 in the multi-core test of Geekbench. The identity of the phone is currently under the wraps. Also, there is no information available on the other specs of the phone. The smartphone has recently bagged approval from India’s BIS agency which indicates that is one of the upcoming Vivo phones for the country.

The upcoming Vivo Z1 Pro is confirmed to debut as India’s first phone with Snapdragon 712. The 10nm chip has the same tech specs as the SD710 chip. However, the SD712 offers a faster clock speeds of 2.3 GHz, while the SD710 clocks at 2.2 GHz.

Editor’s Pick: Vivo Z5x Review: Punch Hole Screen And Big Battery

The only other phone that features the SD712 is the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE phone that was announced earlier this year. There are couple of Geekbench listing of the Mi 9 SE which shows the phone breaching 19XX mark in single-core test and 60XX mark in the multi-core test. The SD710 phones on Geekbench have mostly scored around 14XX to 18XX in single-core tests and 52XX to 59XX in multi-core tests.

Interestingly, all the Mi 9 SE Geekbench listing mentions its processor as sdm710, and not as Snapdragon 712 or sdm712. Hence, there is a possibility that newly spotted Vivo 1953 phone could be the Snapdragon 712 powered Vivo Z1 Pro phone.

The Vivo Z1 Pro will be arriving with a punch-hole display. It will come with a 32-megapixel selfie camera. It will come packed with a 5,000mAh battery that will carry support for 18W fast charging. The smartphone is expected to go official later this month.

Compared to the Vivo Z5x, the Z1 Pro will be arriving with some improvements in departments like processor and front-facing camera. Vivo is yet to confirm the launch date of the Vivo Z1 Pro in India. Couple of live shots of the smartphone have been shared by Indian tipster Mukul Sharma today to reveal its entire design.

The Vivo Z1 Pro images show that the rear shell of the phone is fitted with a vertical triple camera setup at its top-left corner. A fingerprint scanner is available on its rear. The back panel of the phone seems to be made out of glass.

The Vivo Z1 Pro will be one of the first mid-range category smartphones to arrive with punch-hole display design. On June 20, Motorola will be launching the Motorola One Vision smartphone in India with the same display design. Coming back to the Z1 Pro, except for its thicker chin, the display is surrounded by slimmer bezels on all three sides.

Vivo India has confirmed many features of the Vivo Z1 Pro smartphone through its official page. It will be arriving as India first phone fueled by the Snapdragon 712 chipset. The Vivo Z5x features the Snapdragon 710. In comparison, the SD712 offers faster clocking speed than the SD710 chip.

The Vivo Z1 Pro will be equipped with a front-facing camera of 32-megapixel. This feature is being dubbed as in-display camera technology. One of the above shown images show that the front camera will also double as face unlock feature on the Z1 Pro.

The Z1 pro will be packed with a huge battery of 5,000mAh capacity and it will carry support for 18W fast charging. However, it is yet to be confirmed whether it will be featuring a microUSB or USB-C port. The bottom edge of the phone features a 3.5mm audio jack, microphones and an external speaker apart from the charging port.

As of this writing, there is no information available on the pricing of the Vivo Z1 Pro smartphone. Probably, the company may make it official by the end of this month.

Now, Vivo India has confirmed that it will be collaborating with Flipkart for the sales of the upcoming Vivo Z1 Pro smartphone. The Chinese firm hasn’t launched a smartphone with Vivo Z1 Pro moniker in any market yet. It is speculated that the Vivo Z5x that had arrived in China as the company’s first phone with punch-hole display will be rebranded as Vivo Z1 Pro for India.

Vivo India has released couple of teaser videos through its social media channels to reveals some of the key features of the Vivo Z1 Pro smartphone. The smartphone will be arriving with in-display camera technology which indicates that it could be featuring a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The smartphone is expected to arrive with a long-last battery and AI triple camera.

The Vivo Z1 Pro will be offering seamless performance. However, the Chinese manufacturer hasn’t revealed the technical specs of the smartphone. The above teasers from the company clearly suggests that the Vivo Z5x could be rebadged as Vivo Z1 Pro in India. Probably, the Vivo Z1 Pro could be arriving with slightly modified specs.
