In October, Vivo had launched the Vivo Z3i smartphone in China. The handset was packed with the same specs as the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB edition of the Vivo V11i model that is available in some markets like Philippines and Taiwan. In India, the V11i handset is selling as V11. Today, the Chinese manufacturer has introduced the Vivo Z3i Standard Edition in China with a price tag of 1,998 Yuan (~$296).

Vivo Z3i Standard Edition Specifications and Features

The Vivo Z3i Standard Edition that has a model number of Vivo 1813A/T houses a 6.3-inch LCD display with waterdrop notch. It carries support for full HD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. The handset measures 155.97 x 75.63 x 8.1mm and it weighs 163.7 grams.

The MediaTek Helio P60 chipset powers the smartphone along with 6 GB of RAM. It has an inbuilt storage of 128 GB. For more, it is equipped with a microSD card slot. The handset is fueled by a 3,315mAh battery.

For photography, the Vivo Z3i Standard Edition comes equipped with f/2.0 aperture 16-megapixel + f/2.4 aperture 2-megapixel dual camera setup on its rear and a frontal shooter of 24-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture. It is preinstalled with Android 8.1 Oreo OS along with FunTouch OS 4.5 UI. For security, the phone is equipped with a rear-facing fingerprint reader and face unlock.

Vivo Z3i Standard Edition Price and Release Date

Surprisingly, the newly introduced Vivo Z3i Standard Edition have same specs for display, chipset, RAM, storage, cameras and battery compared to the Vivo Z3i. However, the only major difference is that Vivo Z3i comes with a AMOLED display whereas the Vivo Z3i Standard Edition has an LCD panel.

The Vivo Z3i Standard Edition is priced in colors like Aurora Blue, Dream Pink and Starry Night Black and it can be availed for 1,998 Yuan (~$296). Aurora Blue and Millennium Pink are the color variants of the Vivo Z3i and it carries a higher price tag of 2,398 Yuan (~$355).

In the previous month, Vivo had launched the Vivo V11 Pro and Vivo V11 smartphones in India. Interestingly, some markets have received the V11 as Vivo V11i phone. Today, the Chinese manufacturer has launched the Vivo V11i smartphone with Vivo Z3i moniker in China. Even though the V11 and Z3i are same devices, there are certain features that sets them apart.

Vivo Z3i Specifications, Features and Pricing

The Vivo Z3i that features front and rear glass panels with a metallic frame sandwiched in between measures 155.97 x 75.63 x 8.1mm and it weighs 163.7 grams. The Vivo Zi comes in two color gradients options such as Millennium Pink and Aurora Blue. The Z3i features a IPS LCD panel of 6.3 inches instead of S-AMOLED screen available on the V11i. The waterdrop notch screen produces Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels.

Like the V11i, the MediaTek Helio P60 chipset and 6 GB of RAM powers the Vivo Z3i. The V11i comes in 64 GB storage + 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage + 6 GB RAM variants. However, the Vivo Z3i comes in a single variant that feature of 128 GB storage and 6 GB of RAM. It also features a microSD card slot.

Instead of the 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup on the Vivo V11i, the Z3i is fitted with 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera system. For snapping selfie shots, the Z3i features a front camera of 24-megapixel. The front camera can be also used for face unlock feature. A fingerprint scanner is available on the backside of the phone. The FunTouch OS flavored Android 8.1 Oreo OS is available preinstalled on the device. The handset draws power from 3,315mAh battery.

The Vivo Z3i is already available for buying in the home country. It is available with a price tag of 2,398 Yuan (~$347).

Vivo has released a bunch of phones this year already, and honestly, we just hope they would take a break. If you want more Vivo phones, then brace yourself for the new Vivo Z3i which had a massive leak yesterday. The leak covers everything from specs to images and even an unboxing video.

The Vivo Z series is still fairly new. It launched in the second quarter of the year and already has two phones under its belt – the Vivo Z1 and the Vivo Z1i. Now Vivo is skipping a number and jumping to the Vivo Z3i.

Based on the specs, the Z3i isn’t a more powerful model than the Z1. It has a 6.3-inch display with a waterdrop notch. The phone is said to have a 90.3% screen-to-body ratio and a 19:9 aspect ratio. There is glass on both sides of the phone and the rear has a gradient design.

The phone is powered by MediaTek’s Helio P60 processor with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It has a 24MP front-facing camera and a 16MP + 2MP dual rear camera combo. There are a bunch of camera modes including a beauty mode. The Vivo Z3i has support for face recognition but also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The phone packs a 3,315mAh battery with support for fast charging. When it launches, it will be available in Aurora Blue and Millenium Powder with a ¥2298 (~$334) price tag.

The unboxing video shows the Vivo Z3i comes in a plain white box. Inside the box is the phone (Aurora Blue). There is a clear TPU case in the box, a charger, cable, and warranty card. The phone has black bezels in front, a curved back and vertically-arranged dual rear cameras.

The Vivo Z3i should launch soon in China. If you own the Vivo Z1 and Vivo Z1i already, you may want to skip this one. It isn’t bringing much to the table save for the display, the slightly bigger battery, and cameras.
