Xiaomi Youpin has today launched a new product on its Youpin crowdfunding platform, a voice-activated wall lamp, for a price of 99 yuan, which is roughly $15. The store is also offering a nine-piece bundle for 699 yuan, roughly $107.

The highlight of this new voice-controlled lamp is that it changes the color based on the audible sound. There’s a Music Rhythm feature that is created for the game space which can interact with the sound of the game to change the light color.

The smartboard for the lamp can be spliced as well as combined on the wall and ceiling as per the user’s choice to design creative patterns. Xiaomi Youpin adds that it can be spliced up in any shape that the user wants to give it a more personalized look. It can also be used as a background for various activities, such as shooting video, streaming, or taking photos.

It comes with support for 16 million colors and can also be controlled through the color temperature line in the Mijia mobile application as well as the external sound volume. Apart from controlling it through the app, there’s also support for XiaoAI that brings voice-command-based control to this product.
