Reliance Jio has launched the AX6000 Universal Wi-Fi 6 Router for home users who need fast and stable internet. The router is powered by a quad-core chipset and supports speeds up to 6,000 Mbps. It can cover areas up to 2,000 sq. ft. and handle over 100 connected devices.

The AX6000 works on both 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bands. It offers up to 4,800 Mbps on 5 GHz and 1,200 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. It uses 8 internal antennas and supports OFDMA and MU-MIMO, which help maintain performance when many devices are connected. The router has WPA3 encryption for better security. It also supports Smart Roaming, which automatically switches between bands to keep the connection steady.

The device is AI Mesh-ready and works with Jio True AI Mesh extenders like the JE6801. This allows users to expand coverage across their homes. The JioHome app helps manage the router, set up parental controls, and onboard smart devices like lights, cameras, and voice assistants. There are 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports for wired devices. Other features include guest network support and smart in-app controls.

However, the AX6000 only supports ISPs using DHCP. It does not work with PPPoE or IPoE connections, so users with BSNL or similar providers won’t be able to use it. The router’s dimensions are 16.4 × 16.55 × 7.6 cm, and it weighs 1.8 kg. It comes with a 1-year warranty on the router and a 6-month warranty on the adapter.

The Jio AX6000 is available in white and is priced at ₹5,999. It can be purchased from Amazon, Reliance Digital, JioMart, and other retail partners.

Xiaomi is preparing to launch its new Xiaomi Mesh System AX3000 NE globally. This new device is the successor of the AX3000 model, which is only available only in China.

The AX3000 NE can cover up to 600 square meters, suitable for extensive residential or commercial areas. Users can choose from different bundles, ranging from single units to packages of three devices, depending on their needs.

This model introduces an NFC feature that simplifies the network connection process for new users. It continues to support WiFi 6 technology, ensuring fast internet speeds up to 3,000 Mbit/s on the usual 2.4 and 5 GHz bands.

The AX3000 NE is available in white color. It includes four Gigabit LAN connections that support high-speed data transfer and multiple connections.

The device can be easily managed through a simple app, making it accessible for users to set up and maintain. Xiaomi is yet to announce specific details regarding the pricing and availability of the Mesh System AX3000 NE.

Huawei has introduced the AX6 Pro router in China, starting its pre-orders ahead of the official sale on February 24 at 10:08. The AX6 Pro is designed to deliver exceptional performance in home networking. This device supports Wi-Fi 6+, providing a network speed of up to 7200 megabits, and features eight data streams for simultaneous transmission, significantly enhancing internet speed and reliability.

The router utilizes the 4K-QAM data compression technology to increase transmission speed by 140%, ensuring a smooth and efficient online experience. It offers a high theoretical negotiation rate—1376Mbps on the 2.4GHz band and 5765Mbps on the 5GHz band, totaling 7141Mbps. The router is compatible with the Huawei Smart Life App, which allows users to monitor network coverage in real time and supports the diagnosis of 80 common network issues, further enhancing user experience and network management.

Pricing & availability

With a price of 699 yuan, the Huawei AX6 Pro router is currently available to pre-order in China. It will go on open sale for the first time on February 24 via Jingdong.
