The smartphone maker Oppo is expanding its TWS earphones portfolio with its most recent introduction- Oppo Enco X. This pair boasts premium features like active noise cancellation and wireless charging. Enco X is already up for sale at Giztop for just $179 and comes in multiple color variants.

Oppo Enco X comes with active noise cancellation mode with a dual-microphone system that enhances it. With three microphones on each earpiece, this pair effectively diminishes the surrounding sounds and clearly captures the human voice. The user can choose between two ANC modes to match their preference. Transparency mode quells up the ambient sounds while keeping the user alert about their surroundings and the toggle noise reduction further adds to user convenience.

These wireless earbuds feature a coaxial dual unit design that consists of a 6mm front superconducting magnetic plane diaphragm. Its 11mm three-layered moving coil offers clear audio. Furthermore, Oppo partnered with Danish speaker manufacturer Dynaudio for sound tuning.

Oppo Enco X features Bluetooth 5.2 technology with a 10m connection range to transmit music faster and steadily in the face of multi-device interference. It is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. This pair also supports SBC, AAC, and LHDC codecs. Moreover, this unit packs a 44mAh battery that can offer 5.5 hours playback time and up to 25 hours with the charging case. These earbuds use Type C cable and also support wireless charging to provide versatility.

Featuring an IP54 rating, Oppo Enco X offers resistance to dust and water. Also enhanced with fit detection technology, this pair reminds the user to adjust the earpiece for the best noise reduction and listening experience. Its design is pretty similar to Apple AirPods Pro, featuring the silicone ear tips and short stem.

The Huawei P30 and the P30 Pro have a number of differences with one of them being support for wireless charging on the latter. However, Huawei decided to make a wireless charging case for the P30 so owners don’t miss out on the feature.

When we first covered it last month, the wireless charging case didn’t have a price tag. Today, Huawei’s VP mobile phone business, Bruce Lee, took to Weibo to reveal the case will be available in China too. The wireless charging case is now available for purchase on Vmall.com for ¥299 (~$45). It comes in Dynamic Orange and Electric Blue and ships right away.

The case has a USB-C connector that plugs into your phone and an input port that allows you to connect your wired charger in case you do not want to charge wirelessly. This comes in handy so you don’t have to remove the case if you want to use the fast wired charger.

The case only supports 10W wireless charging which is slower than the P30’s 22.5W wired charging, the P30 Pro’s 15W wireless charging or 40W wired charging.

After months of waiting, Apple finally unveiled the second generation AirPods. The new wireless earbuds bring new features but the design remains unchanged.

The new AirPods now have Bluetooth 5.0 which is better when it comes to connectivity and power consumption. It also features a new chipset – the H1 chip, which replaces the W1 chip in the first gen model.

The new H1 headphone chip is faster and provides a more stable wireless connection according to Apple. It also makes switching between devices 2x faster and provides up to 30% lower latency when playing games. The chipset also powers the tech which lets you activate Siri with just your voice, just say “Hey Siri” followed by your command.

The second-gen AirPods comes with a regular charging case and retails for $159 but Apple also released a Qi wireless charging case that sells for $79 and is backward-compatible with the first-gen AirPods. You can also choose to buy the new AirPods with a wireless charging case for $199. Both cases charge via a lightning connector.

Battery life is also better on the new AirPods. You get up to 5 hours of listening time on a single charge and a 15-minute charge can provide up to 3 hours of talking. With the charging case, you get more than 24 hours of battery life. The new AirPods retains all the tricks of its predecessor. It will automatically pause playback when you pull them out of your ears and also knows when you are talking so as to filter out external noise.

Unfortunately, Apple is sticking to just white for the new AirPods too.
