Wyze has entered the gaming headset market with the release of the Wyze Wireless Gaming Headset. The headset is equipped with 50mm drivers and offers ultra-low latency sufficient for an excellent gaming experience. The Wyze Wireless Gaming Headset is the company’s first gaming headset but it has a collection of wireless audio headsets already.

The Wyze Wireless Gaming Headset has Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity but also features a 2.4GHz dongle for high-octane gaming seamlessly. The 50mm drivers of the gaming headset assures a high-fidelity audio output and they come with an affordable price tag. The new Wyze gaming headset has a decent design outlook and comes with a detachable boom microphone. It also has a second mic built into the headset directly. The gaming headset has memory foam ear pads and is compatible with Android, iOS, Windows, and MacOS platforms.

The Wyze Wireless Gaming Headset supports connection to popular gaming consoles like PlayStation and Nintendo. The Wyze gaming headset is a perfect gadget for quick sessions, impromptu work, or gaming sessions. It has a 600mAh battery that lasts up to 20 hours, while the device can be charged fully within 3 hours via USB-C. The 20-hour battery life for the headset enables almost all-day use.

The gaming headset is also a comfortable device to use even for extended periods. The headset however does not feature noise cancellation.

Wyze is known for making pretty cheap products such as its $20 security cameras and its smartwatch that launched for $20 too last December. Now, it has announced yet another dirt cheap health product, the $15 Wyze Scale S smart scale.

The Wyze Scale S is a cheaper version of its already-affordable $20 Wyze Scale. The $5 cheaper price tag means there are tradeoffs such as the use of four exposed circular electrodes instead of full-glass surface electrodes. This means you have to step on the four electrodes to get a reading and not anywhere as is the case with the Wyze Scale.

Alongside measuring your weight, it can also measure bone mass, body water percentage, body mass, muscle mass, visceral fat, protein level, body fat %, basal metabolic rate, metabolic age, and BMI. Wyze says heart rate measurement is coming soon.

The Wyze Scale S has a 3.5-inch LED display that can display readings up to one decimal point. Save for your weight and body fat percentage, all other readings are displayed in the app. The smart scale can be used by up to 8 members of the family and it will automatically recognize each person. It also has a guest mode and a baby or pet mode for weighing infants and your pets.

Your health stats can also be synced with Apple Health, Google Fit, and Fitbit. Users can also share their data and trends with an unlimited number of people to keep them motivated or export their data into a spreadsheet for their doctor. The measurement range is 5 – 180 kilograms (11 – 400 lbs).

The Wyze Scale S connects via Bluetooth (BLE 5.0) and is compatible with Android devices running Android 7.0+ and Apple devices running iOS 12.0+. The scale is powered by three 1.5V AAA batteries that should provide up to 18 months of usage.

The Wyze Scale S is priced at $14.99 excluding shipping. It is available for pre-order on the Wyze website in white and black colorways and will begin shipping in November.

Wyze is known for its affordable products. With security cameras that cost as low as $19.99 and a smartwatch that also goes for the same price, it is bound to be pretty popular. Now, it has announced a new pair of TWS earbuds called the Wyze Buds Pro that offers features found in more expensive earbuds for half of the price.

The Wyze Buds Pro has an in-ear design with silicone tips. There are three voice-isolating microphones in each bud that help to reduce the noise by as much as 40dB while reducing wind noise by 10dB. The earbuds also have a transparency mode that allows you to hear the sounds around you. This is useful when having conversations with people, at the airport, or when walking outdoors.

Each earbud has a 10mm dynamic driver and has an IPX4 rating for protection against sweat and rain. The earbuds have Alexa built-in but also supports Siri, Bixby, and Google Assistant. They will automatically pause playback when you remove them from your ears and resume when you put them back in. Like a lot of earbuds, it supports custom touch controls for playback and toggling ANC on and off.

The Wyze Buds Pro supports charging via USB-C or via a Qi-certified wireless charger. A full charge via wired charging takes 1.5 hours (3 hours for the case) and it also supports fast charging (15-minute charge provides 1 hour of listening time). The spec sheet says that the earbuds have a battery life of up to 4.5 hours with ANC on and 6 hours with ANC off. It goes up to 13.5 hours and 18 hours respectively with the case.

The pair of earbuds has a price tag of $59.99, comes in black, and is available for pre-order on the Wyze website. Wyze has also promised that there will be a standard version called the Wyze Buds that doesn’t have ANC but brings 6 hours of additional battery life.

Wyze is known for its smart home products, most especially its security cameras. Now it has made its entry into the smartwatch market with the Wyze Watch and it offers a lot for a very small price.

The Wyze Watch looks like Amazfit’s Bip line of smartwatches but it comes with an even more affordable price tag. The smartwatch is available in two sizes – a 47mm version with a 1.75-inch screen and a 44mm version with a 1.4-inch screen. The bigger one has a 300mAh battery while the smaller one has a 260mAh battery. Both will provide up to 9 days of battery life.

The screen on both watches is a TFT 16-bit color LCD display with a resolution of 320 x 385 for the 47mm model and 320 x 320 for the 42mm model. They are encased in an aluminum alloy frame attached to black silicone straps. There are several watch faces to choose from with the option to even use your own photo as the wallpaper.

Save for the difference in screen size and of course battery capacity, the features are the same. For $20, yes $20, you get a PPG heart rate sensor and a blood oxygen sensor, sleep monitoring, step counter, and a menstrual health tracker. Wyze doesn’t say the activities the watch can track and it will be disappointing if it is just limited to just step counting.

Because this is a Wyze product, the manufacturer has added support for controlling your connected Wyze smart home products. So you can turn cameras and lights on and off from your wrist and also access your Wyze shortcuts from the watch.

The watch has an IP68 rating and is water-resistant up to 2 meters. It supports app notifications from multiple popular apps including Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Gmail, and Twitter. It also has support for music and video player apps. The product video shows a YouTube icon, so we presume you will be able to control playback from your wrist. Users will also be able to reject phone calls using the watch.

The Wyze Watch is available for pre-order for $20 regardless of the size you choose. You can also purchase extra silicone straps in Cerulean Blue, Blush Pink, and Midnight Black for $3.99 a pair. There are leather straps too and they come in Classic Brown and Forest Green with a price tag of $9.99. The Wyze Watch begins shipping in February 2021.
