XElectron has launched the Techno (C7) Smart Home Theatre Movie HD Projector in India, a budget projector that combines flexible placement options with built-in streaming support for affordable home entertainment.

The XElectron Techno features a built-in 180-degree rotatable stand, allowing users to easily adjust the projection angle for wall or ceiling viewing without requiring a separate tripod or ceiling mount.

The projector has a native 720p (1280 × 720) resolution. While it supports decoding and playing 1080p and 4K content, the projected image is output at 720p resolution.

XElectron claims a peak brightness of 9000 lumens and a 5000:1 contrast ratio. The LED light source, rated for up to 50,000 hours of life, can cast a screen size ranging from 40 inches up to 200 inches from a throw distance of 4 to 16 feet. However, the company recommends a 120-inch projection for the best overall viewing experience.

To assist with setup, the device includes electric focus alongside automatic and 4D keystone correction to keep the image squared off when projecting from off-center angles.

On the software side, the Techno runs on Android 14, allowing it to function as a standalone smart display. Users can stream directly from native apps like Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, JioHotstar, ZEE5, and SonyLIV without needing to plug in an external streaming stick. The user interface also supports 25 languages, including localized options like Hindi and Bangla.

On the software side, the projector runs Android 14, enabling standalone streaming through apps such as Netflix, YouTube and, Prime Video without requiring an external streaming device.

For connectivity, the projector includes dual-band WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. Physical ports are standard for this category, featuring an HDMI port, a USB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack for connecting laptops, gaming consoles, or external storage.

Audio is provided by a built-in 20W speaker system, though the Bluetooth and audio jack allow users to easily route sound to external speakers or headphones.

Pricing and Availability

The XElectron Techno is now available on Amazon India and through authorized retail channels for Rs. 6,990 and includes a one-year manufacturer’s warranty.
