XGIMI still remains a not too popular brand in the global market but the company has been churning out innovative products, especially projectors worthy of recognition. The company has now launched the XGIMI Magic Lamp, a unique-looking projector that also functions as a ceiling lamp and a smart speaker.

The XGIMI Magic Lamp is presently available in China and comes with some great features. The new ceiling projector is capable of a 0.71 transmittance ratio and can project images up to 100 inches from 1.5 meters. The projector has a 1080p resolution and brightness of 900ANSI lumens.

You can install several apps on the ceiling projector to watch streaming media content or use a LAN to play content. XGIMI is also offering a wireless HDMI screen projector for connecting game consoles, computers, and other equipment. The projector can also function as a ceiling lamp. It uses 176 LED lamp beads with intelligent dimming for daily use. The built-in Harman Kardon sound system in the Magic Lamp outputs crisp audio via two 8W speakers. The sound system supports Dolby Audio and DTS dual decoding technology. The device can be used as a smart speaker.

The XGIMI Magic Lamp was launched as a limited-edition model. There were only 100 units of the projector that are up for sale. The XGIMI Magic Lamp is available from the company’s website and is priced at 7,999 yuan (~$1,186).
