According to an XpertPick report, the global variant carrying the model number 25128PNA1G has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. The listing highlights the device’s AI performance metrics, revealing a single precision score of 1,973, a half precision score of 3,322, and a quantised score of 4,754. These results suggest that the handset is tuned for strong on-device AI tasks such as image processing, voice recognition, and real-time computational photography enhancements.

The benchmark further indicates the presence of a Qualcomm ARMv8-based chipset featuring six efficiency cores clocked at 3.63GHz and two performance cores reaching 4.61GHz, which aligns with expectations of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.

The device has also been listed with 16GB of RAM and Android 16, likely running Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 interface. The appearance on Geekbench suggests that testing is currently underway ahead of its anticipated international rollout.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition: What to expect?

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition is expected to retain the same core hardware as the standard Ultra model while focusing on photography-centric enhancements. The Leica Edition may feature Leica-tuned colour processing, exclusive shooting modes, refined styling, and a mechanical zoom control for a more camera-like experience.

The 17 Ultra Leica Edition is likely to feature a 6.9-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Dragon Crystal Glass 3 protection. A new report suggests that Xiaomi could also adopt a similar approach for its flagship series.

Xiaomi 19 could be skipped

Last year, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 15 lineup, including the Xiaomi 15, 15 Pro, and 15 Ultra. These models were followed by the Xiaomi 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Ultra, skipping the Xiaomi 16 series entirely.

Xiaomi skipped the “16” in its flagship line to jump straight to the Xiaomi 17 series, primarily to create parity with Apple’s iPhone 17 lineup. This move positioned Xiaomi as a direct competitor and signaled a major leap in premium features, as confirmed by company President Lu Weibing.

The new report by XiaomiTime, which claims that the Xiaomi 19 series will be skipped, does not provide any concrete proof to support this claim. However, the possibility remains, as such a strategic numerical jump carries implications beyond marketing alone. Xiaomi has a busy schedule until the end of the year. On Thursday (Sept. 21), its sub-brand Redmi will announce three smartphones, such as the Redmi Note 13 5G, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G. In November, the brand is expected to unveil the Xiaomi 14 and the Xiaomi 14 Pro flagship phones. In December, the company is expected to take off covers from the Redmi K70e, the Redmi K70, and the Redmi K70 Pro. In 2024, the company is expected to announce the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, MIX Fold 4, and MIX Flip 4 in the first half of 2024. A new report reveals that a Civi-branded phone will also debut within the same timeframe.

Xiaomi Civi 4 launch timeframe (rumored)

GSMChina has come across a new Xiaomi device with model number 24031PN0DC in the GSMA IMEI database. While the listing does not mention the name of the device, the publication claims that it is the Xiaomi Civi 4.

The report claims that, like the predecessor CIVI models, the Civi 4 will remain exclusive to the Chinese market. The “2403” digits in the model code hint that the device may launch in March 2024 in China. Like the existing Civi phones, the Civi 4 will be a female-focused smartphone.

Hence, it is expected to arrive with a beautiful design, a powerful chipset, and impressive selfie and rear cameras. According to reports, a brand-new Qualcomm chip with the part number SM7550 powers the device. Rumors have it that the chip will be called the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 when it breaks cover.

Unfortunately, details about the remaining specifications of the Xiaomi Civi 4 are not known yet. In Chinese culture, the number 4 is associated with bad luck, so there’s a possibility that Xiaomi might opt to name the device the Xiaomi Civi 5 instead. On March 12, Xiaomi India will be unveiling the Redmi Note 9 series. The lineup could include the Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro. Recently, the Pro model was spotted on Geekbench benchmarking platform. While it didn’t reveal the processor that powers the Redmi Note 9 Pro, it is speculated that the Snapdragon 720G which fuels the Realme 6 Pro will be powering it. Leakster Ishan Agarwal has teamed up with Pricebaba to reveal some vital information on the Redmi Note 9 Pro. The new leak has revealed the color, RAM and storage editions of the smartphone.

It is believed that the Redmi Note 9 Pro will come in two variants in the Indian market. The base model will have 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of native storage whereas the higher edition will be equipped with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of built-in storage.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro is expected to release in color editions such as Interstellar Black, Glacier White and Aurora Blue. These names suggest that the Redmi Note 9 Pro may sport a gradient colored rear. The other specifications of the Redmi Note 9 Pro are not known yet.

The rear shell of the Redmi Note 9 Pro will be equipped with a square-shaped camera module. The exact configurations of the rear-facing four cameras. It could be sporting a side-facing fingerprint reader.

The exact size of its battery is not known yet. However, the company has revealed that the phone is expected to offer better fast charging capabilities than the Redmi Note 8 Pro. The Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro that has a 108-megapixel penta-lens camera setup was recently made outside of China as Xiaomi Mi Note 10. According to a new report on 91mobiles, the Chinese manufacturer is planning to launch the Mi Note 10 in India. The Xiaomi Mi 5 flagship phone that was unveiled in India in 2016 had received lukewarm reception. Since then it hasn’t launched a high-end or flagship Mi series phone in India. Beginning from 2017, the Chinese firm has been launching Android One based Mi series phones in India each year. The Mi Note 10 is expected to rival with the likes of Realme X2 Pro and OnePlus 7 in its price segment.

The source that revealed the arrival of Mi Note 10 to India has claimed that the top executives of the Chinese firm is think about the right time to bring it to the country. The Mi Note 10 was previously planned to break cover in India alongside the Xiaomi Mi MIX Alpha concept phone in December. The plan has been reportedly dropped.

It remains to be seen when Xiaomi will bring the Mi Note 10 in India. As far as the Mi MIX Alpha is concerned, it is expected to arrive in limited quantities. The Mi Note 10 is a flagship-grade phone and the only thing that people may not like about it is that it does not feature a flagship chipset, but the Snapdragon 730G SoC. The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 has a waterdrop notch enabled 6.47-inch AMOLED display that offers full HD+ resolution. The front and rear sides of the phone is flanked with Gorilla Glass 5 panels. The Snapdragon 730G SoC is coupled with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.1 storage.

The MIUI 11 based Android 9 Pie OS runs on the Mi Note 10. It has a front-facing camera of 32-megapixel. The rear shell of the phone features a penta-lens camera system that is accompanied by a pair of dual LED flash units. The camera system has an OIS assisted 108-megapixel primary lens, a 12-megapixel portrait lens, a 20-megapixel ultrawide lens with 117-degree field-of-view, an OIS enabled periscope 5-megapixel lens with 5x optical zoom and a 2-megapixel macro unit.

The Mi Note 10 has a hefty 5,260mAh battery. The phone supports 30W fast charging that can fully charge the device in 65 minutes. The phone also features an in-screen fingerprint reader. It is available in Europe with a price tag of 549 euros (~$605).

Recently, a smartphone labelled as Xiaomi Strakz was spotted on Geekbench benchmarking platform with Snapdragon 625 and 4 GB of RAM. Today, another phone from the Chinese manufacturer named Xiaomi E6 has appeared on the benchmarking site.

The Xiaomi E6 Geekbench listing reveals that it is fueled by an octa-core processor that clocks at 2.0 GHz. However, the exact model number of processor is not mentioned on Geekbench. It is speculated that the Xiaomi E6 could be powered by the Snapdragon 625 chipset. The SoC of the Xiaomi E6 is accompanied by 3 GB of RAM and the handset is preinstalled with Android 8.1 Oreo.

In single-core test, the Xiaomi E6 has salvaged 841 points whereas it has scored 4259 points in multi-core test. Since these scores are similar to the Geekbench scores of the Xiaomi Mi 5X, it seems that the smartphone could be powered by the good old Snapdragon 625. Xiaomi E6 could be yet another Redmi series phone from the company or it could be an international version of the recently unveiled Redmi S2.

Apart from Xiaomi E6 and Strakz, other phones such as Xiaomi Cactus and Xiaomi Cereus have also appeared on Geekbench. It is speculated that Cactus and Cereus models could be the two variants of the rumored Xiaomi Redmi 5X smartphone

Yesterday, Xiaomi had confirmed through its official Weibo account that it will be soon holding a launch event in Shenzhen. Early rumors had claimed that Xiaomi would be launching the Xiaomi Mi 7 phone by the first half of 2018. Hence, the Shenzhen event could be used to announce the arrival of the Mi 7 flagship. However, well-known industry expert Kevin Wang claimed on Weibo that Xiaomi will be using the same platform to announce many new products. Interestingly, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has quoted the same Weibo post by Wang to confirm that his company will indeed launch “a variety of new products” through the Shenzhen event.

The press conference that will be held at Shenzhen by the company is dubbed as Xiaomi’s 2018 Annual Product Launch. This seems to be the most important launch event for Xiaomi this year. Hence, apart from Xiaomi Mi 7 that is likely to arrive with under-display fingerprint scanner, the Chinese firm is also rumored to debut the 8^th Anniversary Edition phone. The latter is also being referred to as Xiaomi Mi 8.

Xiaomi Mi 8^th Anniversary Edition smartphone has been reportedly spotted on the Chinese edition of Mi Store app. The handset is expected to arrive as the world’s first Android phone with 3D facial recognition feature.

The Mi Band 3 fitness tracker is also rumored to get official at the Shenzhen event. The Mi Band 2 was launched in June last year. Other rumored features of the Mi Band 3 include IP67 rated body, NFC support and Bluetooth 4.2.
