<p>The upcoming <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/xiaomi">Xiaomi</a> 17 Ultra Leica Edition has appeared on Geekbench ahead of its expected global debut, revealing key performance and AI-related details. This device is expected to hit the global market alongside the regular <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xaomi-17-ultra">Xiaomi 17 Ultra</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xaomi-17">Xiaomi 17</a>. Here’s a look at the details that have emerged through its Geekbench AI listing.</p>

<h3><strong>Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition Geekbench AI listing</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="643" height="1004" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Xiaomi-17-Ultra-Leica-Leitzphone-global-version-25128PNA1G-appears-on-Geekbench-AI.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Leitzphone (global version - 25128PNA1G) appears on Geekbench AI" class="wp-image-727361" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Xiaomi-17-Ultra-Leica-Leitzphone-global-version-25128PNA1G-appears-on-Geekbench-AI.jpg 643w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Xiaomi-17-Ultra-Leica-Leitzphone-global-version-25128PNA1G-appears-on-Geekbench-AI-192x300.jpg 192w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Xiaomi-17-Ultra-Leica-Leitzphone-global-version-25128PNA1G-appears-on-Geekbench-AI-269x420.jpg 269w" sizes="(max-width: 643px) 100vw, 643px" /><figcaption>Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Leitzphone (global version &#8211; 25128PNA1G) appears on Geekbench AI</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>According to an <em><a href="https://www.xpertpick.com/mobile/xiaomi-17-ultra-leica-edition-geekbench/">XpertPick</a> </em>report, the global variant carrying the model number 25128PNA1G has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. The listing highlights the device’s AI performance metrics, revealing a single precision score of 1,973, a half precision score of 3,322, and a quantised score of 4,754. These results suggest that the handset is tuned for strong on-device AI tasks such as image processing, voice recognition, and real-time computational photography enhancements.</p>

<p>The benchmark further indicates the presence of a Qualcomm ARMv8-based chipset featuring six efficiency cores clocked at 3.63GHz and two performance cores reaching 4.61GHz, which aligns with expectations of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragno-8-elite-gen-5">Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5</a> processor.</p>

<p>The device has also been listed with 16GB of RAM and Android 16, likely running Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 interface. The appearance on Geekbench suggests that testing is currently underway ahead of its anticipated international rollout.</p>

The Leica Edition may feature Leica-tuned colour processing, exclusive shooting modes, refined styling, and a mechanical zoom control for a more camera-like experience.</p>

<p>The 17 Ultra Leica Edition is likely to feature a 6.9-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Dragon Crystal Glass 3 protection. <p>Some certifications also suggest that the global version may be marketed under the name “Leica Leitzphone powered by Xiaomi,” although official confirmation is still awaited Reports hint that the smartphone may launch globally around the end of February, possibly ahead of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 event.</p>

<p>The year 2027 will mark the 20th anniversary of Apple’s iPhone. Reports suggest that while the brand will announce the iPhone 18 series in 2026, it may skip the iPhone 19 lineup in 2027. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/10/25/apple-reportedly-plans-to-skip-iphone-19-head-straight-to-iphone-20-in-2027/">iPhone 19 series is said to be replaced</a> by the iPhone 20 lineup in celebration of the 20th anniversary. A new report suggests that <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/xiaomi">Xiaomi</a> could also adopt a similar approach for its flagship series.</p>

<h3><strong>Xiaomi 19 could be skipped</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="512" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Xiaomi-17-Pro-Max-Review_1.mp4_20250930_164443.946-1024x512.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi 17 Pro Max" class="wp-image-709019" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Xiaomi-17-Pro-Max-Review_1.mp4_20250930_164443.946-1024x512.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Xiaomi-17-Pro-Max-Review_1.mp4_20250930_164443.946-300x150.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Xiaomi-17-Pro-Max-Review_1.mp4_20250930_164443.946-768x384.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Xiaomi-17-Pro-Max-Review_1.mp4_20250930_164443.946-1536x768.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Xiaomi-17-Pro-Max-Review_1.mp4_20250930_164443.946-696x348.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Xiaomi-17-Pro-Max-Review_1.mp4_20250930_164443.946-1068x534.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Xiaomi-17-Pro-Max-Review_1.mp4_20250930_164443.946-840x420.jpg 840w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Xiaomi-17-Pro-Max-Review_1.mp4_20250930_164443.946.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Xiaomi 17 Pro Max</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Last year, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 15 lineup, including the Xiaomi 15, 15 Pro, and 15 Ultra. These models were followed by the Xiaomi 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Ultra, skipping the Xiaomi 16 series entirely.</p>

<p>Xiaomi skipped the “16” in its flagship line to jump straight to the Xiaomi 17 series, primarily to create parity with Apple’s iPhone 17 lineup. This move positioned Xiaomi as a direct competitor and signaled a major leap in premium features, as confirmed by company President Lu Weibing.</p>

<p>The new report by <em><a href="https://xiaomitime.com/xiaomi-could-jump-straight-to-the-xiaomi-20-series-skipping-19-71899/">XiaomiTime</a></em>, which claims that the Xiaomi 19 series will be skipped, does not provide any concrete proof to support this claim. However, the possibility remains, as such a strategic numerical jump carries implications beyond marketing alone. Just as Xiaomi deliberately skipped the 16 series to launch the Xiaomi 17 in a clear, market-savvy move aimed at direct, name-for-name competition with the iPhone 17, it would not be surprising for the brand to repeat this tactic by bypassing the Xiaomi 19 series.</p>

<p>While Xiaomi is not celebrating a major anniversary in 2027 that would align perfectly with Apple’s potential move, such a calculated leap could ensure that Xiaomi’s next flagship, the Xiaomi 20, arrives alongside the rumored iPhone 20 in 2027, maintaining branding consistency and competitive positioning.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/xiaomi">Xiaomi</a> has a busy schedule until the end of the year. On Thursday (Sept. 21), its sub-brand Redmi will <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/09/18/redmi-note-13-series-roundup-launch-date-design-specs-expected-price/">announce </a>three smartphones, such as the Redmi Note 13 5G, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G. In November, the brand is expected to unveil the Xiaomi 14 and the Xiaomi 14 Pro flagship phones. In December, the company is expected to take off covers from the Redmi K70e, the Redmi K70, and the Redmi K70 Pro. In 2024, the company is expected to announce the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, MIX Fold 4, and MIX Flip 4 in the first half of 2024. A new report reveals that a Civi-branded phone will also debut within the same timeframe.</p>

<h3><strong>Xiaomi Civi 4 launch timeframe (rumored)</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image is-style-default"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="893" height="173" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/Xiaomi-CIvi-4-IMEI-databse-listing.png?x44794" alt="Xiaomi CIvi 4 IMEI databse listing" class="wp-image-567776" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/Xiaomi-CIvi-4-IMEI-databse-listing.png 893w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/Xiaomi-CIvi-4-IMEI-databse-listing-300x58.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/Xiaomi-CIvi-4-IMEI-databse-listing-768x149.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/Xiaomi-CIvi-4-IMEI-databse-listing-696x135.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 893px) 100vw, 893px" /><figcaption>Xiaomi CIvi 4 IMEI data listing</figcaption></figure></div>

<p><em>GSMChina </em>has come across a new Xiaomi device with model number 24031PN0DC in the GSMA IMEI database. While the listing does not mention the name of the device, the publication claims that it is the Xiaomi Civi 4.</p>

<p>The report claims that, like the predecessor CIVI models, the Civi 4 will remain exclusive to the Chinese market. The &#8220;2403&#8221; digits in the model code hint that the device may launch in March 2024 in China. Like the existing Civi phones, the Civi 4 will be a female-focused smartphone.</p>

<p>Hence, it is expected to arrive with a beautiful design, a powerful chipset, and impressive selfie and rear cameras. According to reports, a brand-new Qualcomm chip with the part number SM7550 powers the device. Rumors have it that the chip will be called the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-7-gen-3">Snapdragon 7 Gen 3</a> when it breaks cover.</p>

<p>Unfortunately, details about the remaining specifications of the Xiaomi Civi 4 are not known yet. In Chinese culture, the number 4 is associated with bad luck, so there&#8217;s a possibility that Xiaomi might opt to name the device the Xiaomi Civi 5 instead. It is recommended to stay tuned for additional updates to gather more information.</p>

<p>It is believed that the Redmi Note 9 Pro will come in two variants in the Indian market. The base model will have 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of native storage whereas the higher edition will be equipped with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of built-in storage.</p>

According to a new report on <em>91mobiles, </em>the Chinese manufacturer is planning to launch the Mi Note 10 in India. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-5">Xiaomi Mi 5</a> flagship phone that was unveiled in India in 2016 had received lukewarm reception. Since then it hasn’t launched a high-end or flagship Mi series phone in India. Beginning from 2017, the Chinese firm has been launching <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/android-one">Android One</a> based Mi series phones in India each year. The Mi Note 10 is expected to rival with the likes <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-x2-pro">of Realme X2 Pro</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-7">OnePlus 7</a> in its price segment.</p>
<p>The source that revealed the arrival of Mi Note 10 to India has claimed that the top executives of the Chinese firm is think about the right time to bring it to the country. The Mi Note 10 was previously planned to break cover in India alongside the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-mix-alpha">Xiaomi Mi MIX Alpha</a> concept phone in December. The plan has been reportedly dropped.</p>
<p>It remains to be seen when Xiaomi will bring the Mi Note 10 in India. As far as the Mi MIX Alpha is concerned, it is expected to arrive in limited quantities. The Mi Note 10 is a flagship-grade phone and the only thing that people may not like about it is that it does not feature a flagship chipset, but the Snapdragon 730G SoC. Since Xiaomi is leading the Indian smartphone market, it is likely that the Mi Note 10 will be met with positive reception in the country.</p>

Today, another phone from the Chinese manufacturer named Xiaomi E6 has appeared on the benchmarking site.</p>
<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/xiaomi">Xiaomi</a> E6 Geekbench listing reveals that it is fueled by an octa-core processor that clocks at 2.0 GHz. However, the exact model number of processor is not mentioned on Geekbench. It is speculated that the Xiaomi E6 could be powered by the Snapdragon 625 chipset. The SoC of the Xiaomi E6 is accompanied by 3 GB of RAM and the handset is preinstalled with Android 8.1 Oreo.</p>
<p>In single-core test, the Xiaomi E6 has salvaged 841 points whereas it has scored 4259 points in multi-core test. Since these scores are similar to the Geekbench scores of the Xiaomi Mi 5X, it seems that the smartphone could be powered by the good old Snapdragon 625. Xiaomi E6 could be yet another Redmi series phone from the company or it could be an international version of the recently unveiled Redmi S2.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-191372" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Xiaomi-E6-Geekbench.png?x44794" alt="" width="706" height="573" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Xiaomi-E6-Geekbench.png 706w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Xiaomi-E6-Geekbench-300x243.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 706px) 100vw, 706px" /></p>
<p>Apart from Xiaomi E6 and Strakz, other phones such as <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/05/09/mysterious-xiaomi-cactus-phone-benchmarked-could-be-redmi-5x-variant/">Xiaomi Cactus</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/04/16/mediatek-powered-xiaomi-cereus-seen-on-geekbench-may-be-redmi-5x/">Xiaomi Cereus</a> have also appeared on Geekbench. It is speculated that Cactus and Cereus models could be the two variants of the rumored Xiaomi Redmi 5X smartphone</p>

<p>At present, Xiaomi seems to be focused on the upcoming <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/05/16/xiaomis-shenzhen-event-has-multiple-product-launches-confirms-xiaomi-ceo-lei-jun/">2018 Annual Product Launch</a> event that will be held at Shenzhen. Early rumors had claimed that Xiaomi would be launching the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-7">Xiaomi Mi 7</a> phone by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/05/07/xiaomi-mi-7-mi-band-3-speculated-to-debut-at-may-end/">first half of 2018</a>. Hence, the Shenzhen event could be used to announce the arrival of the Mi 7 flagship. However, well-known industry expert Kevin Wang claimed on Weibo that Xiaomi will be using the same platform to announce many new products. Interestingly, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has quoted the same Weibo post by Wang to confirm that his company will indeed launch “a variety of new products” through the Shenzhen event.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-191203" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Xiaomi-Shenzhen-Event.png?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Shenzhen Event" width="597" height="380" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Xiaomi-Shenzhen-Event.png 597w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Xiaomi-Shenzhen-Event-300x191.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 597px) 100vw, 597px" /></p>
<p>The press conference that will be held at Shenzhen by the company is dubbed as Xiaomi’s 2018 Annual Product Launch. This seems to be the most important launch event for Xiaomi this year. Hence, apart from Xiaomi Mi 7 that is likely to arrive with under-display fingerprint scanner, the Chinese firm is also rumored to debut the 8th Anniversary Edition phone. The latter is also being referred to as Xiaomi Mi 8.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-191201" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Xiaomis-Upcoming-Launch-Event-in-Shenzhen-1.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi's Upcoming Launch Event in Shenzhen 1" width="690" height="388" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Xiaomis-Upcoming-Launch-Event-in-Shenzhen-1.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Xiaomis-Upcoming-Launch-Event-in-Shenzhen-1-300x169.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></p>

The Mi Band 2 was launched in June last year. Hence, the company could be aiming to launch its successor phone exactly after one year. The Mi Band 3 is rumored to feature an OLED display that will be enabled with gestures support. Other rumored features of the Mi Band 3 include IP67 rated body, NFC support and Bluetooth 4.2.</p>
