<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="775" height="255" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/image-128.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-728314" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/image-128.png 775w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/image-128-300x99.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/image-128-768x253.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/image-128-696x229.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 775px) 100vw, 775px" /><figcaption>Xiaomi 17 Max key details tipped</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>According to the tipster, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-17-max">Xiaomi 17 Max’s</a> engineering prototype includes upgraded speakers, likely using a dual symmetric 1115 speaker setup for enhanced audio performance. The device is also expected to retain an X-axis linear motor, which has reportedly become a standard feature in the series.</p>

<p>On the imaging front, DCS mentions a 200-megapixel large-sensor primary camera paired with a periscope telephoto lens. Other highlighted features include a flagship-grade large display, a symmetrical narrow-bezel design with equal sides, and a massive 8,000 mAh-class battery. The overall design language is said to follow a clean and minimalist aesthetic.</p>

<p>Previous reports have revealed that the Xiaomi 17 Max will feature a 6.9-inch flat OLED panel delivering a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Its massive battery is said to support 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. Like recent Xiaomi devices, the 17 Max is expected to run on HyperOS 3-based Android 16.</p>

<p>The 17 Max’s rear camera setup is said to feature <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/01/27/xiaomi-17-max-camera-setup-revealed-pairs-a-200mp-sensor-with-a-periscope-telephoto-unit/">a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HPE primary camera</a>, a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 50-megapixel Sony periscope telephoto lens. For selfies, it could be equipped with a 50-megapixel front-facing camera.</p>

<h3><strong>Xiaomi 17 Max launch timeframe (rumored)</strong></h3>

<p>Rumors surrounding the Xiaomi 17 Max suggest that it may debut in April in China. This device is likely to <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/02/05/vivo-x300-max-vs-xiaomi-17-max/">compete with the Vivo X300 Max</a>, which is expected to debut earlier in March in China. At present, there is no information about the global availability of these devices.</p>

<h2><strong>Redmi 2 Prime</strong></h2>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="728" height="381" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Redmi-2-Prime.png?x44794" alt="Redmi 2 Prime" class="wp-image-674744" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Redmi-2-Prime.png 728w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Redmi-2-Prime-300x157.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Redmi-2-Prime-696x364.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 728px) 100vw, 728px" /><figcaption>Redmi 2 Prime</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The Redmi 1S, launched at Rs 6,999 in August 2014, was immensely popular in India. Following its success, Xiaomi introduced the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-2">Redmi 2</a>, which also received a positive response. In August 2015, the brand released the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-2-prime/">Redmi 2 Prime</a>, an upgraded version of the Redmi 2, which became an instant hit. Its 4G connectivity proved timely, as demand for faster mobile data was rapidly increasing. Moreover, the Redmi 2 Prime was Xiaomi’s first &#8220;Make in India&#8221; smartphone, tapping into nationalistic sentiment and further boosting interest. Its affordable price of Rs 6,999 also played a key role in driving sales.</p>

<h2><strong>Redmi Note 3</strong></h2>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="641" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Redmi-Note-3-1024x641.jpg?x44794" alt="Redmi Note 3" class="wp-image-674747" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Redmi-Note-3-1024x641.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Redmi-Note-3-300x188.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Redmi-Note-3-768x480.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Redmi-Note-3-696x435.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Redmi-Note-3-1068x668.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Redmi-Note-3-671x420.jpg 671w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Redmi-Note-3.jpg 1450w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Redmi Note 3</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2015/12/15/xiaomi-redmi-note-3-review-the-best-budget-smartphone-redefined/">Redmi Note 3</a> became a massive success due to its unmatched value for money. Priced at Rs 9,999, it disrupted the mid-range market by offering impressive specifications at an affordable price. A key factor was its Snapdragon 650 processor, which delivered strong mid-range performance and a smooth user experience. The device featured a 5.5-inch Full HD LCD display and a premium metal body, a significant upgrade at this price point that enhanced its perceived quality. Additionally, the fingerprint sensor, still uncommon in this segment at the time, added to its appeal. With a combination of powerful performance, solid build quality, and advanced features, the Redmi Note 3 became one of Xiaomi’s most successful smartphones.</p>

<h2><strong>Poco F1</strong></h2>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="506" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Poco-F1-price.png?x44794" alt="Poco F1" class="wp-image-674745" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Poco-F1-price.png 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Poco-F1-price-300x169.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Poco-F1-price-768x432.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Poco-F1-price-696x391.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Poco-F1-price-747x420.png 747w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /><figcaption>Poco F1</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-pocophone-f1/">Poco F1</a>, launched in 2018, marked the birth of Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco and became an instant hit for offering a flagship Snapdragon 845 processor at an unprecedented starting price of Rs 20,999. In comparison, other Snapdragon 845-powered phones like the Asus Zenfone 5Z, OnePlus 6, LG G7+ ThinQ, and Google Pixel 3 were priced between Rs 30,000 and Rs 70,000. The Poco F1 delivered high-end performance, a liquid cooling system, and a 4,000mAh battery, making it ideal for gamers and power users. While its polycarbonate build was a cost-cutting measure, the phone’s speed, battery life, and affordability made it one of the best value-for-money smartphones of its time. Its aggressive pricing disrupted the market, earning Poco a dedicated fanbase.</p>

<h2><strong>Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra</strong></h2>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="800" height="800" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/XIaomi-Mi-11-Ultra.png?x44794" alt="XIaomi Mi 11 Ultra" class="wp-image-674746" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/XIaomi-Mi-11-Ultra.png 800w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/XIaomi-Mi-11-Ultra-300x300.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/XIaomi-Mi-11-Ultra-150x150.png 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/XIaomi-Mi-11-Ultra-768x768.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/XIaomi-Mi-11-Ultra-696x696.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/XIaomi-Mi-11-Ultra-420x420.png 420w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /><figcaption>XIaomi Mi 11 Ultra</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-11-ultra/">Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra</a>, launched in 2021, gained popularity for its cutting-edge hardware and premium design. It stood out with its large rectangular camera module, giving it a distinct “camera phone” look. The module housed a massive 1/1.12-inch 50MP Samsung GN2 sensor, making it one of the best camera smartphones of its time. Another feature that set it apart from other flagship phones was the secondary display on the back. This small rear screen provided quick access to notifications, enabled easier selfies using the main cameras, and displayed other useful information.</p>

<p>Powered by the Snapdragon 888, the Mi 11 Ultra featured a 6.81-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, a ceramic back, and the unique secondary display, making it a standout in the flagship segment. Despite its high price of Rs 69,999, its top-tier cameras, powerful performance, and innovative design attracted enthusiasts, solidifying its place as one of Xiaomi’s most ambitious smartphones.</p>

<h2><strong>Redmi Note 10 Pro</strong></h2>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Redmi-Note-10-Pro-1024x576.png?x44794" alt="Redmi Note 10 Pro" class="wp-image-674743" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Redmi-Note-10-Pro-1024x576.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Redmi-Note-10-Pro-300x169.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Redmi-Note-10-Pro-768x432.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Redmi-Note-10-Pro-1536x864.png 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Redmi-Note-10-Pro-696x392.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Redmi-Note-10-Pro-1068x601.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Redmi-Note-10-Pro-747x420.png 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Redmi-Note-10-Pro.png 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Redmi Note 10 Pro</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-10-pro-india/">Redmi Note 10 Pro</a> surged in popularity due to its impressive features at a mid-range price. 1 It popularized high-brightness OLED displays, offering vibrant visuals. 2 The global version&#8217;s 108-megapixel quad-camera setup (64-megapixel in India) delivered exceptional photography. Furthermore, the return to a glass back provided a premium feel, setting it apart from competitors. Redmi’s strategy of offering flagship-level features like a stunning OLED display, a 108/64-megapixel camera, and an elegant design made it a highly sought-after device.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/xiaomi">Xiaomi</a> 15 series includes three flagship models, namely the Xiaomi 15, 15 Pro, and 15 Ultra. All three phones are expected to feature the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-elite">Snapdragon 8 Elite</a> chipset. While the standard and Pro models are expected to debut later this month, the Ultra model is expected to break cover in Q1 2025. While the <a href="https://www.giztop.com/xiaomi-15.html">Xiaomi 15</a> and <a href="https://www.giztop.com/xiaomi-15-pro.html">Xiaomi 15 Pro</a> are camera-focused flagships, the Ultra model is expected to offer an even better photography experience. Reports have claimed that it will be equipped with a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. A new leak that has emerged on Weibo has shed more information about this camera.</p>

<h3><strong>Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s 200MP camera detailed</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image is-style-default"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="804" height="148" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/image-42.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-654923" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/image-42.png 804w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/image-42-300x55.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/image-42-768x141.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/image-42-696x128.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 804px) 100vw, 804px" /></figure></div>

<p>Reports have claimed that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be equipped with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/09/23/xiaomi-15-ultra-camera-specs-leak-200mp-telephoto-sensor/">Samsung ISOCELL HP9 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera</a>. The same periscope zoom camera is available on the Vivo X100 Ultra, which debuted earlier this year in China.</p>

<p>As can be seen in the above screenshot, while the tipster has leaked the camera details of an upcoming phone, he has not specified its name. However, in all likelihood, he could be talking about the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. The leak reveals that the 200-megapixel <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/09/03/xiaomi-15-ultra-to-come-with-a-200mp-telephoto-camera/">periscope telephoto camera</a> will offer a 100mm focal length, an f/2.6 aperture, and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/08/07/xiaomi-15-ultra-may-feature-200mp-telephoto-camera-with-4-x-optical-zoom/">4.3x optical zoom</a>. The leaker did not share any information about the other specs.</p>

<p>A <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/10/03/xiaomi-15-ultra-design-leaks-with-beefy-200mp-telephoto-and-1-inch-main-camera/">recent report claimed</a> that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will feature the one-inch 50-megapixel LYT-900 primary camera with OIS support, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 telephoto camera. While the 15 Ultra will feature a new periscope telephoto camera, the rest of the cameras are identical to those of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image is-style-default"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="853" height="224" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/image-43.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-654925" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/image-43.png 853w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/image-43-300x79.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/image-43-768x202.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/image-43-696x183.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 853px) 100vw, 853px" /></figure></div>

<p>In addition to leaking the periscope camera details, DCS has also hinted at the launch timeframe for the <a href="https://www.giztop.com/xiaomi-15.html">Xiaomi 15 Ultra</a>. According to his information, the device is scheduled to launch after the Lunar New Year, suggesting a release in February or at least within the first quarter of 2025.</p>

The 14 Ultra will arrive with several upgrades as compared to the Xiaomi 13 Ultra that was released last year. New updates shared by the brand over its Weibo account confirm that the device will offer better durability and a larger battery as compared to the predecessor.</p>

<p>\The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-14-ultra/">Xiaomi 14 Ultra</a> features a 5,300mAh battery, resulting in a 17 percent increase in battery life compared to its predecessor. While the battery capacity has been increased, its volume has been reduced by 8 percent. With the latest silicon carbon anode technology, Xiaomi&#8217;s battery achieves a maximum silicon content of 6 percent. Notably, the battery offers the highest energy density at 779Wh/L among its counterparts.</p>

<p>The company is yet to confirm the fast-charging capabilities of the 14 Ultra. However, leaks have claimed that the device will offer 90W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging.</p>

<p>When it comes to durability, the company claims that the middle frame of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is twice as resistant to bending, the screen is ten times more resistant to drops, and the back panel, which is made up of Kona leather, is six times more resistant to wear compared to the 13 Ultra model. The brand confirmed that the device has received SGS five-star durability certification.</p>

<p>The 14 Ultra will be arriving in shades, such as black and white.&nbsp; The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/02/19/xiaomi-14-ultra-global-color-options/">official images</a> suggest that these variants will have a leather back. On the other hand, the rumored <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/02/20/xiaomi-14-ultras-blue-variant-appears-in-a-leaked-image/">blue variant is</a> said to have a ceramic back. It is speculated that the topmost configuration of the device will also come in a special titanium frame option.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image is-style-default"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="860" height="572" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/xiaomi-mix-fold-3.png?x44794" alt="xiaomi mix fold 3" class="wp-image-557095" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/xiaomi-mix-fold-3.png 860w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/xiaomi-mix-fold-3-300x200.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/xiaomi-mix-fold-3-768x511.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/xiaomi-mix-fold-3-696x463.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/xiaomi-mix-fold-3-631x420.png 631w" sizes="(max-width: 860px) 100vw, 860px" /></figure></div>

<p>According to the publication, findings from the Mi code suggest that the codename &#8220;Ruyi&#8221; may be associated with the upcoming Xiaomi Mix Fold 4. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/10/23/xiaomi-mix-fold-4-global-launch-tipped-model-numbers-revealed/">global and Chinese model numbers</a> of the device are listed as 2405CPX3DG and 2405CPX3DC, respectively. The internal model number of the device is said to be &#8220;n8.&#8221;</p>

<p>The Mix Fold 4 will feature the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-gen-3">Snapdragon 8 Gen 3</a> chipset and is expected to ship with the HyperOS-based Android 14. While rumors surrounding the Mix Fold 4 suggest that it will launch in the second half of 2024, the “2405” digits in its model numbers suggest that it may be unveiled in May. The publication speculates that the foldable phone will debut with a mysterious device, but it did not divulge any information about the latter.</p>

<p>Reports have revealed that the Mix Fold 4 will support <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/01/11/xiaomi-mix-fold-4-foldable-screen-phone-reportedly-testing-satellite-communication-function/">two-way satellite connectivity</a>. As far as other specs are concerned, it is advisable to wait for further reports to know them.</p>

<p>Regarding the Xiaomi Mix Flip and Xiaomi 14 Ultra, both devices are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and support two-way satellite communication. Xiaomi&#8217;s upcoming launch event, which might witness the introduction of these products, may also showcase the unveiling of the Pad 7 series of tablets.</p>

According to the latest report on Nikkei Asian Review, the confirmation came directly from Wang Xiang, Head of International Operations at Xiaomi. The Chinese tech giants plan to introduce its extensive range of smartphones and wearable devices by 2020. Although a deadline has not been announced yet, Wang maintains, “We should be able to establish our presence in Japan by 2020. The sooner the better”.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The list of products that Xiaomi plans to introduce is currently under wraps. According to Wang, the company plans to offer devices that the Japanese audience will enjoy. He claims Xiaomi is looking for local telecom companies to partner with, without taking names. Like the US, telecom companies are the largest smartphone distributors in Japan. Smartphone companies that do not have tie-ups typically struggle to gain a foothold in the country.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">During the interactive media session on Oct. 4, Wang tried to downplay concerns about data privacy with Chinese companies. He referred to Xiaomi’s successful streak in Europe during the past decade in which the company made its foray in numerous European markets. He said, “We cooperate with companies like <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/google">Google</a>, and have a clean track record of adhering to personal data laws in Europe. We will do the same in Japan.”</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The fourth-largest smartphone supplier in the world, Xiaomi plans to proactively establish its retail channels outside China. As of June 30, 2019, Xiaomi operates 520 Mi Home Stores outside China, recording year-on-year growth of over 90%. According to Akira Sugawara, a Senior Market Analyst at IDC, “With Japan racing towards adopting the 5G spectrum, Xiaomi might be able to find opportunities, as most major Japanese smartphone manufacturers are eyeing the premium category”.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">“Xiaomi might find the perfect opportunity as the gap between market demand and supply increases. Even in the 4G sector, Japanese consumers are looking for value-for-money devices. If Xiaomi manages to offer its products within the $250 &#8211; $400 mark, It should be quite successful” Sugawara continues. “<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/oppo">OPPO</a> increased its shipment in the third quarter of 2019. Xiaomi might try to take a piece of the pie.”</span></p>
