Earlier this week, the Xiaomi 12 Pro debuted in India with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and a starting price of ₹62,999. The first sale date of the device is officially set for May 2 in the country.

Now, Xiaomi has announced a special sale for the Xiaomi 12 Pro dubbed the Xiaomi Fan Sale. Customers will be able to purchase the latest Xiaomi flagship on May 1 for up to ₹20,000 off by exchanging their existing Xiaomi or Redmi Note series smartphones.

Users of devices like the Mi 10, Mi 10T, Mi 10i, Mi 11X, Mi 11X Pro, Mi 11 Ultra, etc can get ₹20,000 exchange value for their smartphones while buying the Xiaomi 12 Pro. Xiaomi 12 Pro specs & features

The flagship device comes with a 6.73-inch LTPO E5 AMOLED display with a 2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 1500nits peak brightness, HDR10+ support, and Dolby Vision certification.

Under the hood, it features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It runs on Android 12-based MIUI 13 out of the box and is powered by a 4,600mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging support. It is also capable of 50W wireless fast charging.

For optics, the device features a triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX707 primary camera with an f/1.9 aperture and OIS support. The ultrawide lens is also 50-megapixel with an f/2.2 aperture and a 115-degree FOV and there is another 50-megapixel sensor for the portrait camera. On the front, the device houses a 32-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calls.

Earlier this month, the Xiaomi 12 series forayed to the global market by a release in Europe. The Indian market was also tipped to get the series soon but the launch timeline wasn’t revealed. Now, the tipster Ishan Agarwal has revealed that the Xiaomi 12 Pro will be launching soon in India.

The tipster said that the Xiaomi 12 Pro will arrive in April in the Indian market. He only mentioned the Pro model, so we aren’t sure if the other models will accompany it at the launch. However, the Xiaomi 12X was tipped earlier to launch in India. So we might see the phone later or at the same time as the 12 Pro in the country.

Xiaomi 12 Pro sports a 6.73-inch AMOLED LTPO display with FHD+ and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device has Gorilla Glass Victus protection and an in-display fingerprint scanner for security.

It features a 32MP selfie camera and a triple rear camera system. It has a 50MP main, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP telephoto sensor.

It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone houses a 4,600mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. It boots on Android 12 OS and has MIUI 13 on top.
