The Xiaomi 12T series of smartphones is expected to be announced soon for the global markets. However, prior to its release, the higher end 12T Pro was just spotted on a known benchmarking platform, which revealed some of its key specifications.

For those unaware, the Xiaomi 12T series is an upcoming flagship grade smartphone lineup. Models from this series have already been spotted on various certification websites, and now, the latest sighting was on GeekBench. Looking at this listing, we can see the Xiaomi 12T Pro’s performance as well as its RAM, processor, and OS version apart from its scores. For single core, the device managed to achieve a score of 1300, while the multi core tests had it receive 4061 points.

Notably, the 12T Pro is also rumored to be the Chinese tech giant’s first handset that will feature a large 200 megapixel primary camera sensor on the back. Looking at this tweet, the Chinese tech giant’s Xiaomi 12T Pro will launch in at least one model that has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the leak also revealed one of the color options as well, which is reportedly a Purple variant. Unfortunately, this was all the information shared by the tipster.

Although, this information is in line with our previous report. A recent leak had revealed that the Xiaomi 12T Pro will launch in two variants, namely 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model and the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option. Apart from the Purple color, the new flagship handset will apparently also be offered in a Cosmic Black, Lunar Silver, and Clear Blue color option as well.

For those unaware, the top end Pro model is expected to launch with Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and sport a 6.67 inch AMOLED display that offers a 1,220 x 2,712 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphones in the series have already been subject to many leaks. They have also appeared on FCC, NBTC, and SIRIM databases. Now, the Xiaomi 12T Pro has appeared on Google Play Console, revealing key specifications, so let’s check them out.

A clear picture of the Xiaomi 12T Pro is starting to take shape. The device is tipped to be a rebranded Redmi K50 Ultra with a few changes here and there. A recent report suggested Xiaomi will announce the smartphone today for the global market.

While we await more details, French publication Phonandroid has shared a live image of the Xiaomi 12T Pro, revealing its 200MP camera. As can be seen in the image, Xiaomi 12T Pro’s camera module is identical to that of the Xiaomi 12 Pro. However, the primary sensor appears to be comparatively larger.

“200MP” is written on the camera module in bold letters, which confirms the phone will indeed feature a massive 200MP camera sensor. Xiaomi 12T Pro will be the company’s first smartphone to feature this sensor. However, Xiaomi is not the first company to use a 200MP camera on its phone, that honor goes to Motorola.

The 200MP sensor used in the Xiaomi 12T Pro could be a Samsung ISOCELL HP1, which is the first sensor of this type. It offers individual pixels of 0.64 µm for size of 1/1.22 inch.
