It comes with either 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, ensuring seamless multitasking.

The Xiaomi 14T Pro is expected to launch sometime in September, aligning with the release of the Xiaomi 13T Pro (review) last year. In the latest news, PassionateGeekz has released a rendering of the device showcasing a refreshed camera island design.

The Xiaomi 14T Pro also appears to pack a total of three cameras on the back, just as its predecessor. However, the cameras and the flash module are now placed in a square layout as opposed to the triangular one of the Xiaomi 13T Pro. The Leica branding is also moved to the center from the bottom left of the camera island. The rendering also shows a relatively simpler camera island design as compared to the predecessor when it comes to the edges.

Moving on to the front, the render shows a very similar design with slightly slimmer bezels. The placement of Xiaomi branding on the back and buttons on the sides also appears to remain identical as compared to the predecessor.

What we know so far:

According to a previous leak, the camera setup equips the LEICA VARIO-SUMMILUX 1:1.6-2.2/15-60 ASPH lenses. The main camera reportedly adopts the 1.1.31″ Light Fusion 900 sensor.

The 12GB + 512GB version of the Xiaomi 14T Pro is expected cost around €899, while the 12GB + 256GB version of the standard Xiaomi 14T is said to be priced at only €649. This new model features the segment’s largest 3.6-inch external display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection and IPX8 water resistance. The hinge is certified for 4 lakh folds.

The Razr 50 features a 6.9-inch FHD+ internal foldable pOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 3.6-inch FHD+ outer pOLED screen that reaches up to 1700 nits peak brightness and 90Hz refresh rate. It includes added features like Google’s Gemini access, desk mode, and a vegan leather finish.

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X SoC, the device has a 4200mAh battery with 30W wired and 15W wireless fast charging. The dual-display setup supports HDR10+, 10-bit color, LTPO technology, and a peak brightness of up to 3000 nits on the main display.

The phone includes a rear camera system with a 50MP main camera featuring OIS and a 13MP ultra-wide/macro camera. The front camera is a 32MP sensor capable of 4K UHD video capture. For audio, it comes with dual stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, Spatial Sound, and three microphones.

Realme Narzo 70 Turbo

Realme has confirmed the launch of its Narzo 70 Turbo smartphone in India on September 9th at 12:00 PM IST. The device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy 5G chipset, which the company claims is the fastest in its segment with an AnTuTu score of 750,000.

The Narzo 70 Turbo features a performance-focused design, including a Motorsport-inspired back with a yellow vertical stripe housing the camera module. The front has a flat display with minimal bezels and a centered punch hole for the front camera.

Huawei Tri-Fold Foldable

Tecno Phantom V Fold 2, Phantom V Flip 2

Tecno is expected to launch upcoming foldable devices, the Phantom V Fold 2 5G and V Flip 2 5G globally in September. The devices were available for pre-order in Ghana from August 19 to 24, though the official launch date remains unannounced.

A recent leak revealed that the Phantom V Flip 2, a clamshell foldable, will be priced at GHS 9,800 ($626) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB variant, while the Phantom V Fold 2, a book-style foldable, will cost GHS 16,550 ($1058) for the 12GB RAM + 512GB version.

Vivo T3 Ultra

After debuting the Xiaomi 14 series last year, the brand is currently working on the Xiaomi 14T series, which is said to feature two models, the Xiaomi 14T and the Xiaomi 14T Pro. Both devices have received NBTC certification and have surfaced on Geekbench. According to a significant leak shared by Dealabs, which includes the full specifications and pricing details, these devices are rumored to launch in September.

Xiaomi 14T specs:

As per the report by Dealabs, the Xiaomi 14T will have a 6.67-inch 1.5K (2712×1220p) display with a pixel density of 446ppi and a refresh rate of 144Hz. The panel will be capable of 700 nits in typical brightness, 1600 nits in high brightness mode, and up to 4000 nits while watching HDR content. The panel reportedly has full coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut and supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. It is also TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light and comes with AI Auto-brightness, AI video with Local mapping, AI Adaptive colors, AI Touch control, and AI Care.

Under the hood, the device is said to feature a Dimensity 8300-Ultra processor, paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It will come with Android 14 pre-loaded and draw power from a 5,000mAh battery. The phone also has IP68 waterproofing and weighs 195 grams.

The Xiaomi 14T comes with a Leica triple camera setup that includes the LEICA VARIO-SUMMILUX 1:1.7-2.2/15-50 ASPH lenses. The main camera is a 50MP wide-angle lens with optical image stabilization (OIS), featuring a 1/1.56″ IMX906 sensor, 1.0µm pixels that can combine into 2.0µm super-pixels, a focal length equivalent to 23mm, an f/1.62 aperture, and autofocus.

The second camera is a 50MP telephoto lens with 0.64µm pixels, a focal length equivalent to 60mm, 2.6x optical zoom, and up to 4x zoom equivalent to 100mm, with an f/1.98 aperture, a 5P lens, and autofocus. The third camera is a 12MP ultra wide-angle lens with 1.12µm pixels, a focal length equivalent to 15mm, a 120° field of view, and an f/2.2 aperture. The Xiaomi 14T is said to use an identical 6.67-inch 1.5K display as the vanilla 14T, with features like 144Hz refresh rate, 4000 nits peak brightness, and HDR10+ support. That said, the Pro model houses a more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It is said to come with the same 5,000mAh battery, however, it will feature support for 50W wireless charging. It will also feature an IP68 waterproofing certification.

Xiaomi 14T Pro cameras:

The Xiaomi 14T Pro model is said to have a Leica triple camera setup featuring the LEICA VARIO-SUMMILUX 1:1.6-2.2/15-60 ASPH lenses. The main camera will be a 50MP wide-angle lens with optical image stabilization (OIS), using a 1/1.31″ Light Fusion 900 sensor. It has 1.2µm pixels that can combine into 2.4µm super-pixels, an equivalent focal length of 23mm, 2x optical equivalent zoom (46mm), an f/1.62 aperture, and autofocus.

The second camera is said to be a 50MP telephoto lens with 0.64µm pixels, a 60mm equivalent focal length, 2.6x zoom, and up to 5x optical equivalent zoom (120mm), with an f/1.98 aperture, a 5P lens, and autofocus. The third camera is a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 1.12µm pixels, a 15mm equivalent focal length, a 120° field of vision, and an f/2.2 aperture. This suggests that the device would be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 Plus processor. The device is listed with 12GB RAM onboard and we can expect more options at launch. It will run on Android 14 OS out of the box. 

The Xiaomi 14T Pro scores 9,369 and 26,083 points in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core test results. The benchmarking platform does not reveal any additional details about the smartphone. As per Camera FV-5 database, the upcoming offering is expected to feature a 50MP main sensor and a 32MP front-facing selfie snapper. 

The Xiaomi 14T Pro is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K70 Ultra (review) that recently debuted in China. Last week, the Xiaomi 14T bearing the 2407FPN8EG model number was approved by Thailand’s NBTC authority. Now the same certification platform has approved the Xiaomi 14T Pro, indicating that the 14T series will be launching soon in Thailand.

Xiaomi 14T Pro NBTC certified

As shown in the image above, the NBTC has certified the Xiaomi 14T Pro, model number 2407FPN8EG. While the listing does not provide detailed specifications for the device, it strongly indicates that the launch of the Xiaomi 14T Pro could be imminent.

To recall, the Xiaomi 13T received approval from the NBTC authority by the end of July last year, followed by the 13T Pro in early August. Both devices were subsequently announced for the global market by late September. The NBTC’s approval of the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro nearly a month earlier than their predecessors suggests that the 14T series will likely launch sooner, possibly by late August or early September.

Xiaomi 14T Pro specifications (rumored)

The Xiaomi 14T Pro is said to be a tweaked version of the Redmi K70 Ultra, which is expected to launch later this month in China. It is speculated that the 14T Pro will come equipped with better cameras than the K70 Ultra. The Camera FV-5 listing of the 14T Pro suggests it could be equipped with a 50-megapixel primary camera on the back and a 32-megapixel camera on the front.

Xiaomi appears to be prepping for the launch of the Xiaomi 14T series. A recent sighting of the global variant of the Xiaomi 14T Pro in Thailand’s NBTC certification database sheds some light on the upcoming phone’s specifications.

The NBTC certification confirms the model number (2407FPN8EG) and the phone’s moniker – Xiaomi 14T Pro. It also reveals support for GSM, WCDMA, LTE, and NR connectivity.

Additional information comes from the Camera FV-5 database, which suggests a primary rear camera with an f/1.6 aperture, 12.6MP pixel binning, and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). 

A 12.6MP resolution with pixel binning means we can expect the phone to feature a 50MP main sensor. The selfie camera might come with an f/2.0 aperture and will capture 8.1MP pixel-binned images. We might also see Leica co-branding for the cameras, similar to Xiaomi’s flagship models.

Under the hood, the Xiaomi 14T Pro is expected to pack a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor built on a 4nm process. 

The SoC features one Cortex-X4 core clocked at 3.25GHz, three Cortex-X4 cores at 2.85GHz, four Cortex-A720 cores at 2.0GHz, and a Mali-G720 Immortalis MP12 GPU. 

Notably, the 14T series is expected to be the first in the T series from Xiaomi to support wireless charging. Our previous report also revealed that the Xiaomi 14T series will have displays supplied by Tianma.

The Xiaomi T series typically differentiates the standard and Pro models with the processor. Both the 13T and 13T Pro shared similar cameras and battery capacities. The trend is follow suit with the 14T series.

As for the launch, the Xiaomi 14T series is expected to launch sometime in August or September. However, there is uncertainty about the launch of the Xiaomi 14T series in India, as Xiaomi skipped the launch of the 12T and 13T series in the country.

Xiaomi 14T series will be manufactured in partnership with Xiaomi & Tianma

I already leaked the specs of the Xiaomi 14T series. Now, it’s revealed which manufacturer will manufacture the display of these new smartphones. Tianma will manufacture the Xiaomi 14T series display, and they may possibly get the displays for some variations of the devices from TCL. For example, TCL supplied the display panels for 3 different variants of the Xiaomi 13T Pro and Tianma provided the display panels for the other variant of the device. The same may be valid for the new 14T series. But we have to say that there is no clear information about this. The only officially confirmed information is that the partnership with Tianma will be made in this series.

Xiaomi has written the above line of code to test the NovaTek 72335 SPI chip. It was also revealed that the brand tested this SPI chip on a smartphone with the codename “rothko_global”. All Tianma panels use the NovaTek display controller. The codename “rothko” belongs to the Xiaomi 14T Pro, and this confirms that the Xiaomi 14T Pro’s displays will be manufactured by Tianma. Of course, this may not apply to all variations of the device.

Xiaomi 14T series will be equipped with MediaTek flagship processors. The top-end model of the series, Xiaomi 14T Pro, will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor. In addition, wireless charging support will be included in a T series for the first time. This makes the new T series even more eye-catching. We expect the Xiaomi 14T series to be introduced in August. But an official launch date has not yet emerged.

Today, a user named Erencan Yilmaz on X (formerly Twitter) shared that the Xiaomi 14T, Xiaomi 14T Pro and MIX Flip have been registered in the IMEI database.

Xiaomi 14T series and MIX Flip are coming soon

Xiaomi 14T series and MIX Flip are clearly visible in the GSMA IMEI database, indicating that these devices will be introduced in the near future. The IMEI database gives us 3 different model numbers: 2406APNFAG, 2407FPN8EG and 2405CPX3DG. The first model number belongs to the Xiaomi 14T, the second to the Xiaomi 14T Pro, and the last to the MIX Flip. These are assigned to the Global versions of the devices. The presence of these model numbers officially confirms that the devices will be sold in the global market. As Erencan Yilmaz said, the Xiaomi 14T series and MIX Flip will be available for purchase by users all over the world. Of course, we need to add the following: These smartphones will not be sold in India.

Xiaomi 14T series specifications have already been leaked. The top-end model of this series, the Xiaomi 14T Pro, will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9300. The 14T Pro is expected to be a much better smartphone than its Chinese variant, the Redmi K70 Ultra. Because compared to the Redmi K70 Ultra, the new 14T Pro will come with an improved telephoto camera and wireless charging support. Redmi K70 Ultra will not have a telephoto camera. The K70 Ultra also lacks wireless charging support.

We said that the most affordable model of the series, Xiaomi 14T, was spotted in the Xiaomi HyperOS source code with the codename “degas” and the internal model number “N12A”. The 14T’s specifications are not fully known, but we expect it to have a powerful MediaTek SOC. Basically, the Xiaomi 14T should come with features similar to those of the Xiaomi 14T Pro.

Come to the MIX Flip, it will have dual cameras on the back, with the main camera featuring a 50MP Light Hunter 800 sensor. The auxiliary camera is the OV60A Telephoto sensor with a resolution of 60MP. With this sensor, MIX Flip will have 2X optical zoom capability and should have a zoom capability far better than the competitors. It’s also worth noting that the MIX Flip uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. As for the launch date of the devices, the Xiaomi 14T series and MIX Flip are expected to be introduced between August and September. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 15 series will be announced in October.

Xiaomi is rumored to be working on a new smartphone series called the Xiaomi 14T. The lineup might include two phones — a regular Xiaomi 14T and a more powerful Pro version, the Xiaomi 14T Pro.

Interesting details about these devices were recently found in Xiaomi’s HyperOS code, as spotted by Android Headlines. Apparently, the Xiaomi 14T Pro might be a slightly upgraded version of the rumored Redmi K70 Ultra. 

While both phones share a code name (“rothko”) and model number (“N12”), hinting at similar features, the report suggests the Xiaomi 14T Pro will have some improvements over the Redmi K70 Ultra.

The smartphone is said to have features like wireless charging and a telephoto camera with Leica lenses, which will allegedly be missing from the Redmi K70 Ultra. 

Moreover, the Xiaomi 14T Pro will likely be powered by the Dimensity 9300 processor. The phone is expected to launch globally with model numbers “2407FPN8EG” and “2407FPN8ER,” with availability in various regions. However, a launch in India appears unlikely, as per the report.

The standard Xiaomi 14T is reportedly codenamed “degas,” will also be available globally with model numbers “2406APNFAG” and “XIG06.” Similar to the Pro variant, it is expected to miss the Indian market. 

While details about the processor remain unconfirmed, speculations suggest it might retain Dimensity 8200 Ultra from its predecessor, the Xiaomi 13T.

The Xiaomi T series typically differentiates the standard and Pro models with the processor. Both the 13T and 13T Pro shared similar cameras and battery capacities. The trend is follow suit with the 14T series.

The Redmi K70 Ultra is expected to launch in China in August. Therefore, it’s likely that the global launch of the Xiaomi 14T series will follow in September.

But surprise, surprise, Xiaomi is already working on the 14T series, and there’s a twist – it seems like the 14T Pro could be a rebranded version of the Redmi K70 Ultra.

Xiaomi 14T Pro is coming

Let’s talk about the leaked specs for the Xiaomi 14T Pro. Xiaomi 13T series didn’t quite match up to the Xiaomi 12T series in certain areas. People missed the vibrant screen and fast charging support in the 12T series. The only standout feature, according to some, was the improved camera. But now, Xiaomi is cooking up something new with 14T series, and it looks like big launches are on the horizon, expected in August and September.

GSMChina now offers some interesting information. The interesting part – the Xiaomi 14T Pro has made an appearance on the IMEI database with model numbers “2407FPN8EG” for the global version and “2407FPN8ER” for the Japanese version. This means the smartphone is set to launch in various regions, including Japan. There’s also a different model number for the Chinese version, “2407FRK8EC” which is associated with the Redmi K70 Ultra. While there might be a few differences in features, both models are likely to be quite similar.

Xiaomi 14T Pro has the codename “rothko” and interestingly, so does the Redmi K70 Ultra. Xiaomi often gives its Redmi K series codenames inspired by painters and this time, it’s Mark Rothko, a famous US painter known for his “color field painting” or “late pictorial abstraction.”

While we don’t know all the details about the Xiaomi 14T Pro yet, what we do know is that it will boast a powerful MediaTek processor, possibly the Dimensity 9300 SOC. Expect some improvements in the camera and other areas. The Redmi K70 Ultra is set to be officially unveiled in August, and shortly after that, we can look forward to the announcement of the 14T series. Exciting times ahead!
