Xiaomi has quietly listed its Electric Scooter 6 on its global website, marking the worldwide rollout of the latest model in its commuter e-scooter lineup. Positioned between the 6 Lite and 6 Max variants, this new scooter brings boosted motor power, larger tires, dual suspension, and more. So let’s check it out.

Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 Specifications

The newly listed Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 builds on its predecessor with a more powerful drivetrain that peaks at around 800W and delivers a typical 400W of continuous motor output. This upgrade supports a top speed of approximately 25 km/h (or about 16mph), which is the legal cap in many regions for license free electric scooters. So riders can switch between pedestrian, standard, and sport modes to suit different environments.

Compared with the previous Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5, which used a lower-powered motor, the Scooter 6’s enhanced performance should make acceleration smoother and handling on varied terrain more confident. Its rating for tackling inclines up to about 18% ensures it won’t shy away from moderate hills on city commutes. One of the biggest visual and functional changes comes with its 12-inch tubeless tires, which are 2 inches larger than those on the older model. This increase, paired with the spring suspension on the front and rear, helps improve the riding experience.

The Electric Scooter 6 retains a foldable structure, making it convenient for parking or carrying onto public transport, and its kicktail design gives it a distinctive silhouette compared with other Xiaomi scooters. Unlike its predecessor, the Scooter 6 is equipped with a 360Wh battery that supports a range of up to around 45km, which is down from 60km on its predecessor. But you do get faster charging speeds. Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Plus Rolls Out in Europe

The Chinese tech giant’s new Electric Scooter 5 Plus was just unveiled with up to a 900W motor. This allows the new e-scooter to hit a top speed of 25kph (roughly 16mph). It can even go up 20 percent incline. It houses a sizeable 477.4Wh battery pack, which the brand promises can offer a range of up to 60 kilometers (about 37 miles). There are three power modes that users can toggle between, namely Pedestrian (6kph), Standard (15kph) and Sport (25kph).

Xiaomi’s Electric Scooter 5 Plus model arrives with 12-inch tubeless tires along with front scock absorber for a more comfortable riding experience. Comparing it to the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5, Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Pro, and Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Max, the Plus variant has a wider deck and taller handlebars. Other notable features include smart headlights, brake lights, a dual braking system, traction control, and Bluetooth support that offers additional controls via the app.

This model weighs around 26.6 kilograms and has started rolling out in France and Italy for 549.99 Euros. Xiaomi also plans on releasing this electric scooter in other European regions soon, including the Netherlands, Spain and Germany, positioned right between the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Pro and Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Max.

The Chinese tech giant’s upcoming Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Plus was just spotted on the TDRA certification, carrying the DDHBC24LQ model number. To recall, this is a certification platform from the UAE. It has been filed as a “short range device/low power device”. Apart from the model number and moniker, no finer details like the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Plus were revealed in this database. But it does hint at its imminent release, particularly in the global market.

As the name suggests, it is a part of the brand’s existing electric scooter. The e-scooter will likely join the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Max and Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Pro variants. So it might be a model that is positioned between the two e-scooters. The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Pro was first announced in January with a 60 kilometer range, 1000W motor, and 10 inch tires. It also had a top speed of 25 km/h with three speed modes.

On the other hand, the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Max offers an identical motor, top speed, and range, but with an upgraded suspension system with front dual hydraulic springs and rear dual springs. The Max version dropped in March 2025 with improved traction control and auto light activation.

It is priced at 1,999 Yuan (roughly 282 US Dollars) and is currently available at the Xiaomi Mall platform.

The Scooter 1S brings various upgrades and new features. This includes a new interactive visual dashboard, which also supports self diagnosis and checking. In other words, if there is a malfunction in any system of the electric scooter, the display can notify the user. Furthermore, the screen also reveals real time speed, driving status, battery life and other important information as well, all in one glance.

Being interactive, one can navigate through various functions with just the single button provided below it. The Mijia Scooter 1S follows a minimalistic design with aviation grade aluminum alloy body and a total weight of just 12.5 kilograms. Notably, it is capable of carrying loads up to 100kg. The electric scooter can also be folded in just under 3 seconds, making it portable when not in use.

The integrated DC motor that powers the Scooter 1S is rated for a service life of 3,000 hours with a 250W power rating and a maximum output of 500W. The scooter can reach speeds up to 25km/h and can last up to 30 kilometers in a single ful charge. It also features an energy saving mode, normal mode, and an adjustable sports mode as well.

The Xiaomi Mijia Scooter 1S is equipped with two 8.5 inch tires that are wear and skid resistant. The handle adopts a double brake design for both the front and rear wheels. Interestingly, when the throttle is released and the brake handle is pressed, the scooter can recover a small portion of the energy from the front wheels, providing a longer battery life. it also supports the ABS system (Anti Brake) and anti brake lock system and has large disc brake structure as well.
