<p><span style="font-weight: 400">According to a </span><a href="https://twitter.com/XiaomiIndia/status/1429683015454584836"><span style="font-weight: 400">tweet</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> by Xiaomi India, the company is India’s no. 1 online smartphone brand in the ₹20K-₹45K price segment. The image shared by the firm says that the data comes from the June 2021 India Smartphone Monthly Model Tracker by Counterpoint Research.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">This means </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Xiaomi/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Xiaomi</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> was probably the largest online smartphone brand in the upper mid-range to premium segment in India in the month of June. It might have continued through July but we don’t have data for the same.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The company sells five different smartphone models in the said price segment. These are </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-10-pro-max/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Redmi Note 10 Pro Max</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">, </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-11-lite/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Mi 11 Lite</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">, </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-10i-5g/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Mi 10i</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">, </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-11x/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Mi 11X</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">, and </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-11x-pro/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Mi 11X Pro</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">. Although the firm does not mention it, we think most of the sales numbers could have come from the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Anyway, it’s still an achievement for a brand, which is associated with cheap affordable devices. Perhaps, this will consider Xiaomi to bring more upper mid-range smartphones to India.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Do you think Xiaomi India can continue this moment going forward? Do let us know in the comment section below.</span></p>
