<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The handset has a single model number 21121210AC and going by that, it was supposed to be exclusive to China. So why does this phone is now said to not see a release?</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Xiaomiui </span><a href="https://xiaomiui.net/redmi-k50-with-snapdragon-870-will-not-launch-1393/"><span style="font-weight: 400">says</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> that the first internal MIUI build for this device was released in August as 21.8.12. This is the reason why the handset is thought to be shelved.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Another possible reason for the termination of Xiaomi Poussin is the </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/10/29/xiaomi-munch-appears-in-miui-code-revealing-key-specs/"><span style="font-weight: 400">existence of Xiaomi Munch</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">. For the unaware, Munch with model number L11R is identical to the Poussin. Hence, the former may hit the market instead of the latter.</span></p>
