<p>The phones which have model numbers MET7S and MEE7S were registered by Xiaomi Communications Technology Co. Ltd on 8th of January, 2018. These are the model numbers they&#8217;ll definitely have when they show up on TENAA too.</p>

<p>If you remember, the already released <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-5-plus/">Redmi 5 Plus</a> appeared as Xiaomi MEE7 and Xiaomi MET7 while the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-5/">Redmi 5</a> was seen with model numbers MDT1 and MDE1.</p>
<p>Based on previous leaks, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is said to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor. Qualcomm itself has not announced this chipset yet, so we advise you take it with a pinch of salt.</p>
