Days after the launch, a video, and pictures of the Mi 11 promotional adverts lighting up three major landmarks across several cities around the world have appeared. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/mi-11-promo.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-370556" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/mi-11-promo.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Mi 11" width="690" height="388" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/mi-11-promo.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/mi-11-promo-300x169.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></a></p>
<p>The promotional ad was spotted adorning the world&#8217;s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Other landmarks lit up by Mi 11 adverts include BFI IMAX in London and the Central World Shopping Centre in Bangkok.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/mi-11-promo-6.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-370562" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/mi-11-promo-6.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Mi 11" width="690" height="460" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/mi-11-promo-6.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/mi-11-promo-6-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/mi-11-promo-6-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></a></p>
<p>The adverts are a reflection of the brand&#8217;s determination to expand its tentacles into new markets in Europe and Asia. These markets used to be Huawei&#8217;s stronghold but since the Chinese tech leader was placed on the US entity list, its market shares have dropped drastically. Xiaomi is hoping to profit from Huawei&#8217;s slump and there is good reason to aspire for such. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/mi-11-promo-7.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-370563" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/mi-11-promo-7.jpg?x44794" alt="" width="690" height="311" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/mi-11-promo-7.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/mi-11-promo-7-300x135.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></a></p>
<p>Xiaomi has got the product quality to fill Huawei&#8217;s shoes and the Mi 11 is well-positioned for that task. The phone is moderately priced, starting at 749 Euros (~RMB 5,820) for the 8GB+128GB while the 8GB+256GB is priced at 799 Euros (~RMB 6,210).</p>
<p><iframe loading="lazy" title="Xiaomi Mi 11 promotional ads light up several landmarks around the world" width="696" height="392" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/xsaXEb5x_X8?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe></p>
<p>Xiaomi&#8217;s CEO Lei Jun says the unveiling of the Mi 11 ad on three major landmarks across the world is a reflection of the global strength of Xiaomi and the confidence to enter the overseas high-end market.</p>
<p>The Mi 11 is already on sale in China with over 1 million units sold during the first 21 days. This ranks it as the fastest high-end flagship phone in the history of Xiaomi&#8217;s mobile phone. We expect the global sales to also shatter several records considering its affordable pricing when compared with rival products like the Galaxy S21 series and iPhone 12.</p>

The sole Mi flagship has now made an early appearance on JerryRigEverything&#8217;s durability test. The test gives us a hint as to the structural strength which the flagship possesses. Sure the Mi 11 looks good on paper and going by<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/08/xiaomi-mi-11-review-best-value-snapdragon-888-flagship-to-beat-2021/"> reviews, including ours</a>, it sure looks incredibly good in real life. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/mi-11.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-370408" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/mi-11.png?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Mi 11" width="716" height="404" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/mi-11.png 716w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/mi-11-300x169.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/mi-11-696x393.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 716px) 100vw, 716px" /></a></p>
<p>The durability test, as usual, includes the scratch, burn and bend tests, all aimed at testing the physical strength of the display and entire fuselage. It begins with the scratch test and the phone scratches at level 6 with deeper grooves at level 7, thanks to the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/07/23/cornings-toughest-gorilla-glass-victus-announced-may-feature-on-the-galaxy-note-20/">Gorilla Glass Victus</a> slapped on top of the display. The sides of the phones are also made of metal and not plastic as noted on the scratch test. Also, the back panel is made from glass since the phone supports wireless charging. The panel scratches at the same level as the front screen even though it is covered by a layer of Gorilla Glass 5 instead of Victus.</p>
<p><iframe loading="lazy" title="Is the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pretending? - Durability Test!" width="696" height="392" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Y9q75LV6uz0?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe></p>
<p>The Mi 11&#8217;s 6.81-inch FHD+ OLED display is really quick at sensing the finger due to the 480Hz touch sampling rate. It also has other impressive features such as a 120Hz refresh rate. The display panel only withstood 20 seconds of heat from Zack&#8217;s lighter in the burn test before the display got a white patch and didn&#8217;t fully recover afterward.</p>
<p>The smartphone also doesn&#8217;t disappoint on the bend test. Even though it produces a minor creak when bent, the phone didn&#8217;t crack or become permanently deformed.</p>
<p>Overall, the Mi 11 is a pretty solid smartphone in addition to an impressive specs lineup and decent price tag. Check out our Mi 11 review video from below.</p>

<p>Just a week after Chinese tech giant <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/xiaomi">Xiaomi</a> officially put up the flagship <a href="http://gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-11">Mi 11</a> series for sales, the first broken unit has been spotted and it is badly damaged in an awkward manner. The actual owner of the broken device is unknown but the damaged device was posted on the Chinese social app Weibo.</p>
<p>From the picture, it can be seen that the Mi 11 frame is bent backward nearly making an angle of 90 degrees close to the lower part of the camera module. The bend also narrowly missed the power button but resulted in the shattering of the rear glass panel.</p>

<p>Several reasons have been propounded as to what caused the damage with some even suggesting that the user was attempting to transform the device into a foldable phone.</p>
<p>Xiaomi Mi 11 is equipped with Snapdragon 888 chip, the first device to pack Qualcomm&#8217;s last flagship SoC. The device also comes with a 2K 120Hz curved screen, 4600mAh battery, supports 55W wired, 50W wireless, and 10W wireless reverse charging. The main camera is a 100MP Samsung HMX sensor, Harman Kardon stereo dual speakers, among other features.</p>
<p>Just like other Xiaomi flagship models, the Mi 11 utilizes a front and rear glass design with an aluminum mid-frame. That isn&#8217;t all, the device uses the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Victus which is the strongest glass protection around presently. Thus, whatever that would&#8217;ve broken the model pictured above must have been a strong force. <h3>Xiaomi Mi 11 Review: Design</h3>
<p>Just like <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-10-5g">Mi 10</a> series, the Xiaomi 11 was also relatively well-stocked right from the start. And we managed to get a unit for review in the first sale itself. The box was pretty thin and when we opened it, there was only a case, manual and the phone inside.</p>

<p>Yes, this confirms that <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/xiaomi">Xiaomi</a> no longer includes a charger in the box, not even the charging cable. But before you lose your composure, let me remind you that when you buy the Mi 11 online, you have two options — a standard version without the charger or the charging cable, or a set version that comes with a separate 55W GaN charger and charging cable. The price for both versions is exactly the same. This means, if you have a fast charger compatible with the Mi 11, you can simply get the box without the charger and do your bit to reduce ewaste. Since you have both options, unlike what <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/12/24/samsung-to-remove-chargers-from-galaxy-s21-box/">Apple did with its iPhone 12 series (Samsung joining in soon too)</a>, this seems like a more practical and feasible approach from Xiaomi.</p>
<p>What we got with us is the Purple Leather version of the <a href="https://www.giztop.com/xiaomi-mi-11-5g.html">Mi 11</a>. This is the first time Xiaomi is using leather on its flagship model and it feels good in the hand. It&#8217;s also not slippery — unlike the frosted glass variant. The vegan leather version is suitable for people who don&#8217;t like to carry a phone case.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-15.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-364214 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-15.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Mi 11 featured review 15" width="2048" height="1152" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-15.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-15-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-15-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-15-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-15-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-15-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-15-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-15-1920x1080.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px" /></a></p>
<p>The phone weighs 194g. While this figure doesn&#8217;t seem particularly light, it is no longer top-heavy because the body is larger and the lens module size is reduced. The balanced weight distribution ensures that the phone doesn&#8217;t feel heavy. And if you are like me — switching from the 221g <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/08/22/xiaomi-mi-10-ultra-transparent-eview-120x-zoom-120w-charging-120hz-display/">Mi 10 Ultra</a> to the Mi 11, I&#8217;m sure your pinky finger will thank you! The Xiaomi logo has been removed and replaced with the letters Xiaomi. There&#8217;s also a large pin-shaped circular brushed metal decoration on the back that&#8217;s exclusive to the leather version. Moving on to the camera module, it has a rounded rectangular design. The lens has got black plating. Whether you like this design or not, you have to agree that the Mi 11 is much more unique and recognizable now. Compared to the Xiaomi 10, the back has been completely revamped. It has a better touch feeling, looks excellent, and is comfortable to hold. Overall, I&#8217;m pretty happy with the new design of the Xiaomi Mi 11.</p>

<h3><strong>Xiaomi Mi 11 Review: Display</strong></h3>
<p>The Mi 11 comes with a quad-curved, 2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, Samsung <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/xiaomi">AMOLED</a> panel with <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/07/23/cornings-toughest-gorilla-glass-victus-announced-may-feature-on-the-galaxy-note-20/">Corning Gorilla Victus</a> glass cover for the screen. This screen is supposed to be the biggest highlight of the new Xiaomi flagship. In terms of parameters alone, it should be the best in the market right now.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-13.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class=" td-center aligncenter wp-image-364212 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-13.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Mi 11 2K display featured review 13" width="2048" height="1152" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-13.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-13-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-13-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-13-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-13-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-13-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-13-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-13-1920x1080.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px" /></a></p>
<p>The experience I&#8217;ve had over the past few days can be summed up in just one word&#8211;fabulous! The DisplayMate A+ certified screen is unbeatable in terms of color accuracy and clarity. The maximum brightness of 1500 nits ensures that you can see the screen clearly under direct sunlight. And there&#8217;s MEMC, Super-resolution enhancement, and other premium features onboard. One thing I particularly like is that the quad-curved screen not only allows for smoother gestures but also avoids the green tint you get on certain curved panels.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-02.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-364201" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-02.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Mi 11 display review 02" width="2048" height="1152" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-02.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-02-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-02-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-02-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-02-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-02-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-02-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-02-1920x1080.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px" /></a>I have always felt that a design has to be both aesthetically pleasing as well as functional to be considered the best. All in all, this screen can&#8217;t be overhyped, it&#8217;s definitely one of the best AMOLED displays you can buy in 2021.</p>
<h3><strong>Xiaomi Mi 11 Review: Performance</strong></h3>
<p>Instead of 875, this year&#8217;s Snapdragon 8 series has been renamed the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/12/01/qualcomm-announces-snapdragon-888-mobile-platform-with-an-integrated-5g-modem/">Snapdragon 888</a>. 888 resonates with the Chinese word that stands for good luck and fortune. Let&#8217;s see if 888 can bring itself good luck. The usual rule is to look at the benchmark first.</p>

<p>In the AnTuTu Benchmark test, the chip scores 690,000 while it scores 5500 in 3DMark. These scores are basically the same as the Kirin 9000. From here you can basically see that the peak performance of both Chips is almost indistinguishable from each other.</p>

<p>Now, let&#8217;s take a look at the game stress test. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/pubg-mobile">PUBG mobile</a> with Ultra HD quality and Ultra frame rate ran at almost 40 fps. And the HDR quality Extreme frame rate also ran at almost 60 fps without any problem. In the Genshin Impact test, the performance was not so stable at the beginning, but it settled down in the second half of the test, coming close to 60 fps. The average frame rate was 52.6 fps.</p>
<figure id="attachment_364241" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-364241" style="width: 1676px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/BrightRidge.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-364241" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/BrightRidge.png?x44794" alt="BrightRidge" width="1676" height="972" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/BrightRidge.png 1676w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/BrightRidge-300x174.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/BrightRidge-768x445.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/BrightRidge-1024x594.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/BrightRidge-696x404.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/BrightRidge-1068x619.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/BrightRidge-724x420.png 724w" sizes="(max-width: 1676px) 100vw, 1676px" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-364241" class="wp-caption-text">BrightRidge</figcaption></figure>
<p>In BrightRidge, which focuses on GPU performance, Mi 11 got a good average frame rate of 77.3. It was obtained at the cost of heating though, and it can get really hot during long periods of high intensive gaming. Overall, the performance is very good, but the power consumption is also very high. Only the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/10/22/huawei-unveils-the-kirin-9000-chipset-its-first-5g-integrated-5nm-soc/">Kirin 9000</a> in the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-mate-40-pro/">Mate40</a> series chooses to downclock the CPU when it gets too hot. On the other hand, Xiaomi&#8217;s Snapdragon 888 chooses a more aggressive strategy that allows it to keep the CPU running at its maximum strategy for a longer period of time at the cost of overheating.</p>
<p>This time Xiaomi, together with Harman Kardon, has tuned the dual speakers.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-12.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-364211" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-12.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Mi 11 review 12" width="2048" height="1152" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-12.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-12-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-12-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-12-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-12-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-12-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-12-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-12-1920x1080.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px" /></a></p>
<p>It&#8217;s important to note that the back cover vibrates more when you play via the speakers, and the vibrations are noticeable in the hand. I don&#8217;t know if this is because the back cover is softer.</p>
<h3>Xiaomi Mi 11 Review: Camera Quality</h3>
<p>The camera department on the Mi 11 has probably the smallest improvement over the Mi 10. The main camera is still the<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/08/12/samsung-announces-worlds-first-108mp-mobile-camera-sensor-with-xiaomi/"> familiar 108MP</a>, the ultra-wide-angle lens is still the familiar 13MP. The depth of field lens is removed and the normal macro lens is upgraded to a 50mm telephoto macro lens.</p>
<p>Also, we&#8217;ve got with us Xiaomi&#8217;s best camera phone, the Mi 10 Ultra. So let&#8217;s compare and see how the main camera performs. Please note that if you want a closer comparison with the Mi 10 Ultra, check out our <a href="https://youtu.be/8_PwyyjkAPg">review video</a> added at the start of this Mi 11 review article.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-09.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class=" td-center aligncenter wp-image-364208 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-09.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Mi 11 review 09" width="2048" height="1152" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-09.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-09-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-09-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-09-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-09-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-09-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-09-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-09-1920x1080.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px" /></a></p>
<p>Apart from a slightly smaller aperture, the Mi 11&#8217;s primary camera is almost identical to the one on the Mi 10. With plenty of light during the day, both capture excellent samples. But you need to examine closely to see the difference between them. The Mi 11&#8217;s sample has a larger resolution &#8211; its a 27MP photo after 108mp 4-in-1 pixel binning. Although the Mi 10 Ultra has the dual native ISO Fusion technology, the dynamic range advantage is not as pronounced.</p>

<p>With almost the same size CMOS sensor, the higher pixel count means the individual pixels are smaller. In relatively low light conditions, the Mi 11 has no advantage. But the results are surprising, as long as there is some light source, the Mi 11 does not lag much behind the 10 Ultra. Apart from the occasional cooler white balance and slightly inferior dynamic range, the Mi 11&#8217;s night shots are respectable.</p>

<p>The samples have excellent noise control and no significant disadvantages, whether the night mode is on or off. But the disadvantage of smaller individual pixel size is more apparent in very low light scenes. The image will be underexposed. But although the image will be underexposed, in my personal opinion, it&#8217;s not necessarily a good thing for night shots to look like daytime. Instead, it&#8217;s the slight underexposure like the Mi 11 that makes it look like a night shot. So I still feel the Mi 11&#8217;s primary camera is pretty good.</p>

<p>The ultra-wide-angle of the Mi 11 is slightly narrower than the Mi 10 Ultra&#8217;s 12mm, but this is also the same as the mainstream 16mm ultra-wide angle lens. Although the 10 ultra&#8217;s ultra wide-angle has more pixels than the Mi 11, it is hard to notice the improvement in resolution even when you zoom into the samples. Mi 11&#8217;s ultra wide-angle fixes the green tint issue and the white balance is more accurate at night. Night mode has also been added to the ultra-wide-angle mode. Apart from the difference in the field of view, the performance is the same as during the day, and even better in terms of perception due to the more accurate white balance.</p>

<p>The new telephoto macro lens is also an old friend of ours. The same setup as the Redmi K30 ultra. It is able to take macro photos at a slightly longer distance and is more useful than other regular macro lenses. When put to good use, you can take photos from unique angles.</p>
<p>In addition, MIUI has added some fun cinematic lens modes specifically for the Mi 11, such as one-touch Hitchcock zoom mode, night mode for video, and so on, which is still very friendly to novice videographers.</p>
<h3>Xiaomi Mi 11 Review: Battery &amp; Charging</h3>
<p>For this 2k 120 Hz screen, Mi 11 is paired with a 4600 mAh battery. Most people will be concerned about whether battery life will be a problem on the device. We did test the phone with some performance-hungry games in our review. Playing Genshin Impact for half an hour consumed 18% of power while BrightRidge for 13 minutes consumed 12% of power. As you can see, the Mi 11&#8217;s battery efficiency is not outstanding. But playing mainstream games such as PUBG mobile at Ultra high quality and Ultra frame rate for 27 minutes only consumed 9%.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-06.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-364205" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-06.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Mi 11 smartphone display resolution 06" width="2048" height="1152" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-06.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-06-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-06-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-06-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-06-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-06-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-06-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-review-06-1920x1080.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px" /></a></p>
<p>When we switched to HDR quality in extreme frame rate, this reduced to 11%. At maximum brightness Call of Duty mobile consumed 15% of the power in 37 minutes of gameplay. I think for moderate to heavy use every day, you&#8217;ll need about two charges a day, which I think is good for a phone with an outstanding 2k 120Hz screen.</p>

<p>While battery life isn&#8217;t great, it charges quickly. The 55w wired and 50w wireless charging combo is pretty top notch. Charging with the 55w GaN Charger, it charges to 43 in 10 minutes, 95 in half an hour, and takes just 40 minutes to fill up to 100%. If you are interested in wireless charging, you can get Xiaomi&#8217;s 50W air-cooled wireless charging dock. The charging speed is almost identical to wired charging.</p>

<p>So after seeing our review, are you excited about the Mi 11? What I can tell you is that I&#8217;m very excited. You can get probably the best AMOLED display of the year for just 3999RMB (~$620), and that alone makes the Mi 11 worth it for me. If you don&#8217;t care that it doesn&#8217;t have a telephoto lens, it&#8217;s pretty much the best phone to buy at this price. The better alternatives are more expensive, while the cheaper ones can&#8217;t match the <a href="https://www.giztop.com/xiaomi-mi-11-5g.html">Mi 11</a> in terms of features.</p>

<p>Xiaomi&#8217;s decision comes just two months after Apple announced the iPhone 12 series without a charging adapter in the miniaturized retail box. What makes Xiaomi&#8217;s decision even surprising is that they <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/10/16/xiaomi-oneplus-join-samsung-to-poke-fun-at-apple-for-removing-the-iphone-adapter/">had poked fun at Apple alongside Samsung and OnePlus</a>, over the iPhone 12&#8217;s adapter removal.</p>
<p>The decision still continues to generate heated debates among Mi fans, many of whom question the sense behind the decision, considering that most buyers will still have to purchase a fast charging adapter separately, anyway. When the Mi 11 went on sale on January 1,<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/01/less-than-six-percent-of-first-mi-11-orders-were-for-the-no-charger-green-edition/"> only 20,000 persons purchased the &#8220;Green Edition&#8221;</a> which is without an adapter. Also, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/?s=Xiaomi+conducts+opinion+poll+on+charger">an ongoing poll being conducted by Gizmochina</a> shows that most of the respondents think the removal is a bad idea.</p>
<div class="su-note" style="border-color:#e5e5e5;border-radius:3px;-moz-border-radius:3px;-webkit-border-radius:3px;"><div class="su-note-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim" style="background-color:#ffffff;border-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;border-radius:3px;-moz-border-radius:3px;-webkit-border-radius:3px;"><strong>Editor&#8217;s Pick: <a title="Snoppa ATOM 2 Phone Gimbal with 3-Axis, auto-foldable design launched on Kickstarter" href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/03/snoppa-atom-2-phone-gimbal-3-axis-auto-foldable-design-kickstarter/" rel="bookmark">Snoppa ATOM 2 Phone Gimbal with 3-Axis, auto-foldable design launched on Kickstarter</a></strong></div></div>
<p>Quite a large number of persons who have expressed their thought about this issue think Xiaomi just copycatted Apple. Well, Xiaomi&#8217;s CEO Lei Jun has come out to debunk such notions. The CEO hinted recently in a live broadcast (<a href="https://www.ithome.com/0/528/414.htm" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">via</a>) that the idea of not including the charger was initiated by him and wasn&#8217;t a copy of what Apple did.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/Xiaomi-65W-PD-Fast-Charger-Featured.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-325537" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/Xiaomi-65W-PD-Fast-Charger-Featured.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi 65W PD Fast Charger Featured" width="546" height="322" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/Xiaomi-65W-PD-Fast-Charger-Featured.jpg 546w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/Xiaomi-65W-PD-Fast-Charger-Featured-300x177.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 546px) 100vw, 546px" /></a></p>
<p>He stated that he had mooted the idea in 2015. Indeed Lei Jun had asked the big question on Weibo in a bid to gather user opinions on the matter. The story was covered by several blogs at the time, including <a href="https://www.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_may_omit_the_charger_in_future_phone_bundles-news-12683.php" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">GSMArena</a>.  He also added that when the company moved to Xiaomi&#8217;s Beijing Park last year, several boxes of chargers were thrown away. Thus, he again moved to implement the idea o removing the adapter from the retail box with the option to buy it separately.</p>
<p>In summary, Xiaomi&#8217;s decision is the implementation of an idea conceived five years ago. However, that cannot in any way remove the fact that the move to implement the idea may have been influenced by Apple.</p>

It starts at just 3999 RMB (~$613) yet offers premium performance and display with the brand new Snapdragon 888 processor and an excellent 2K 120Hz AMOLED display</p>
<p>The phone <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/01/xiaomi-mi-11-first-sales-rake-in-over-1-5-billion-yuan-in-5-minutes/">recently went on sale in China</a> and will soon be <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/04/xiaomi-mi-11-global-launch-teaser/">available globally as well</a>. Despite being a standard edition (non-Pro), the Mi 11 has enough premium features to be called a full-fledged flagship model in 2021. So, let&#8217;s take a look at what the phone has to offer in this <strong>Xiaomi Mi 11 hands-on</strong>.</p>
<h3>Xiaomi Mi 11 Hands-on: Design &amp; Display</h3>
<p>The Xiaomi Mi 11 comes in two variants &#8211; an AG matte finish variant and a vegan leather one. The AG matte model comes with a metal and glass sandwich design while the vegan leather model, unsurprisingly, has a leather finish on the back.</p>
<figure id="attachment_363240" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-363240" style="width: 2048px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-08.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-363240" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-08.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Mi 11 hands on 08" width="2048" height="1367" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-08.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-08-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-08-768x513.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-08-1024x684.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-08-696x465.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-08-1068x713.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-08-629x420.jpg 629w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-08-1920x1282.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-363240" class="wp-caption-text">Xiaomi Mi 11 &#8211; Vegan Leather</figcaption></figure>
<p>We got the Vegan Leather Xiaomi Mi 11 model for our review and we have to tell you that the back cover feels pretty premium. Another slight advantage of this leather variant is that the square rear camera module doesn&#8217;t protrude as much as the AG matte finish variant. This is because the vegan leather model is slightly thicker (194g, 8.56mm) as compared to the AG matte variant (196g, 8.06mm).</p>
<p>Despite weighing 194grams, the phone feels pretty lightweight. On closer analysis, we found that the overall body weight is well balanced which enables a much better hands-on feel on the Mi 11 as compared to its predecessor &#8211; the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-10">Mi 10</a>. Also, the four curved design with smooth corners looks and feels very premium and makes it very comfortable to hold, even with one hand.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-02.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-363234" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-02.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Mi 11 hands on 02" width="2048" height="1367" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-02.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-02-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-02-768x513.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-02-1024x684.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-02-696x465.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-02-1068x713.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-02-629x420.jpg 629w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-02-1920x1282.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px" /></a></p>
<p>The Mi 11 comes with a larger and better display than its predecessor, featuring a 6.81-inch 2K 120Hz <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/amoled">AMOLED</a> panel. The display is definitely the biggest highlight of the new flagship and it&#8217;s probably the BEST OLED screen we&#8217;ve seen on a smartphone so far. Notably, the Mi 11 supports a 120Hz high screen refresh rate even at 2K WQHD+ resolution. The curved edges on the phone don&#8217;t come in between your user experience and there wasn&#8217;t any visible color shift either. Note that the new flagship has also reduced the size of the front selfie punch-hole camera.</p>

<h3>Xiaomi Mi 11 Hands 0n: Specs &amp; Features</h3>
<p>Coming to the specs, the Xiaomi 11 is the world&#8217;s first <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/12/03/snapdragon-888-detailed-specifications-officially-confirmed/">Snapdragon 888</a> smartphone to launch in the market. The new chip ensures that the phone is extremely fast and fluid and it can register <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/antutu">AnTuTu</a> scores upwards of 700,000. Another important highlight of the Mi 11 is the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/harmon-kardon">Harmon Kardon</a> tuned audio and there&#8217;s a perceived improvement in the sound quality. In our initial tests, we found the stereo speakers on the new flagship had excellent audio output.</p>
<figure id="attachment_363232" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-363232" style="width: 2048px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Mi-11-hands-on-harmon-kardon.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-363232" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Mi-11-hands-on-harmon-kardon.jpg?x44794" alt="Mi 11 hands on harmon kardon" width="2048" height="1369" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Mi-11-hands-on-harmon-kardon.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Mi-11-hands-on-harmon-kardon-300x201.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Mi-11-hands-on-harmon-kardon-768x513.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Mi-11-hands-on-harmon-kardon-1024x685.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Mi-11-hands-on-harmon-kardon-696x465.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Mi-11-hands-on-harmon-kardon-1068x714.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Mi-11-hands-on-harmon-kardon-628x420.jpg 628w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Mi-11-hands-on-harmon-kardon-1920x1283.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-363232" class="wp-caption-text">Harmon Kardon Xiaomi Mi 11</figcaption></figure>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>While the Mi 11 is heavy on performance, design, and display, Xiaomi has taken a toned-down approach for its camera setup. Don&#8217;t get us wrong, the 108MP primary camera will give you pretty good shots especially in daylight conditions. But know that the triple camera setup that includes a 13MP ultra-wide-angle shooter and a 5MP macro lens doesn&#8217;t bring a whole lot of improvement in the camera department as compared to the Xiaomi Mi 10. Upfront, you get a 20MP selfie shooter.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-06.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-363238" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-06.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Mi 11 hands on 06" width="2048" height="1367" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-06.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-06-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-06-768x513.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-06-1024x684.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-06-696x465.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-06-1068x713.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-06-629x420.jpg 629w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-06-1920x1282.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px" /></a></p>
<p>The Mi 11 also features a pretty large 4600mAh battery on board with 55W wired charging support. However, the most impressive battery feature is the support for high-speed 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging. The phone also supports Quick Charge 4 plus, QC3 plus, and PD3.0 fast charging protocols. Finally, it supports 5G and the new generation Wi-Fi 6E standard.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-05.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-363237" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-05.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Mi 11 hands on 05" width="2048" height="1367" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-05.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-05-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-05-768x513.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-05-1024x684.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-05-696x465.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-05-1068x713.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-05-629x420.jpg 629w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Xiaomi-Mi-11-hands-on-05-1920x1282.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px" /></a></p>
<p>Xiaomi&#8217;s strategy for the Mi 11 is pretty clear. Focus on a few key areas of the flagship by adding top-notch specs while toning down certain areas like the camera department for the ideal price to performance ratio.</p>
<p>We&#8217;ll be releasing our full review of the Xiaomi Mi 11 pretty soon, so stay tuned for that!</p>

The device also came with an extremely decent price tag, starting at 3999 yuan (~$612) which further beamed the searchlight on the model. As we were already expecting, the first sale turned out to be a reflection of the device&#8217;s popularity.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/mi-11.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-363092" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/mi-11.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Mi 11" width="600" height="400" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/mi-11.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/mi-11-300x200.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a> Xiaomi&#8217;s mobile phone division officially released the first sales report for the Mi 11 at 00:13, just 13 minutes after the first sales commenced. Before now, there have been several leaks concerning the Mi 11 flagship including leaked renders of the device showing the from and fear designs.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/mi-11-3.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-359929" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/mi-11-3.png?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Mi 11 camera sample " width="602" height="320" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/mi-11-3.png 602w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/mi-11-3-300x159.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 602px) 100vw, 602px" /></a></p>
<p>We have come across the first camera sample shot by the Mi 11. Xiaomi&#8217;s Redmi Product Director Wang Teng Thomas today published a Weibo post that contained a picture of the snowy night scene of Xiaomi Technology Park. Some internet users discovered that Wang Teng’s Weibo post did not reveal the model used to publish the post. Now, Mr Thomas&#8217; previous Weibo posts were posted using the <a href="http://gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-9">Redmi Note 9</a>. Based on this, it is speculated that the Redmi product director may have already started using the Mi 11 flagship series.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/mi-11-2.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-359928" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/mi-11-2.png?x44794" alt="" width="595" height="137" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/mi-11-2.png 595w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/mi-11-2-300x69.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 595px) 100vw, 595px" /></a></p>
<p>Also, the product director responded with a grinning face emoji when a netizen made a comment about the missing phone model. This is seen as an indication that he is actually using an unannounced Xiaomi model and that should the Mi 11. The night screen camera sample is also pretty impressive but it is far from certain that the Mi 11 captured the scenery.</p>
<div class="su-note" style="border-color:#e5e5e5;border-radius:3px;-moz-border-radius:3px;-webkit-border-radius:3px;"><div class="su-note-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim" style="background-color:#ffffff;border-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;border-radius:3px;-moz-border-radius:3px;-webkit-border-radius:3px;"><strong>Editor&#8217;s Pick: <a title="Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite with up to 9 days battery power launched for the global market" href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/12/09/xiaomi-mi-watch-lite-9-days-battery-power-launched-global-market/" rel="bookmark">Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite with up to 9 days battery power launched for the global market</a></strong></div></div>
<p>At present, Xiaomi Mi 11 has been approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It uses a curved punch-hole screen while the front camera is located in the upper left corner. This is consistent with the hole-punch position of the <a href="http://gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-10">Mi 10</a>&#8216;s display.</p>
<p>In terms of core configuration, the Mi 11 is expected to be the first flagship powered by Qualcomm&#8217;s latest Snapdragon 888 processor and it will have support for 55W fast charging. In addition, the leaked render shows that the Mi 11 will feature a rear camera housed in a square-shaped module. The rear camera is a triple camera setup and the main camera is expected to support OIS (optical image stabilization).<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/mi-11-sample.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-359927" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/mi-11-sample.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Mi 11" width="690" height="518" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/mi-11-sample.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/mi-11-sample-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/mi-11-sample-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/mi-11-sample-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/mi-11-sample-559x420.jpg 559w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></a></p>
