Xiaomi launched the Redmi K20 in India and China while the company brought the same device as Xiaomi Mi 9T in other regions like Europe. The device, irrespective of regions, came with MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie out of the box. Now, it has finally started getting the Android 11 update.

The Redmi K20 is getting a MIUI update with firmware version V12.1.1.0.RFJCNXM in China. This build upgrades the device’s OS to the latest Android 11. If you recall, the device got the first big update, i.e, Android 10, reasonably quickly after the official announcement.

Anyway, the update is 2.6GB in size and also comes with the February 2021 security patch. Do note that this is the Chinese build so this particular update is compatible only with phones selling in China (codename: davinci). In case you don’t know, the Indian version of this device is codenamed ‘davinciin’.

Hence, users will have to be patient till Xiaomi extends the update to other regions like India and Europe which I don’t think is that far now. Also, if you had noticed, the MIUI version is still MIUI 12 so another major UI update for the MIUI 12.5 version should take a while to reach the device.

That said, the MIUI 12.5 update could be the last major update for the Redmi K20 since it has already got two major MIUI (MIUI 11, MIUI 12) and two major Android upgrades(Android 10 & 11) now.

Either way, the update is in the ‘stable beta’ stage meaning only a few users will get it initially. After ensuring that the update doesn’t have any major bugs, Xiaomi will likely push the update to everyone in a few days.

It’s also worth noting that the ‘Pro’ sibling, Redmi K20 Pro, or its European version Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro hasn’t gotten the Android 11 update yet.

It is not a completely new device since it is just a rebranded version of the device known in China as the Huawei Nova 6 SE. The difference is that the Huawei P40 Lite is for the global market. Design

Do you like punch-hole displays to get rid of bezels or do you prefer a notch-less and holeless display on a phone equipped with a pop-up selfie camera? If the first option is your choice, we believe you should go for the Samsung Galaxy A51, which provides a single punch-hole display and a higher screen-to-body ratio than Huawei P40 Lite. But if you do not hate the pop-up camera, Xiaomi Mi 9T has a more interesting design since it is built with more premium materials. Despite it is just a mid-ranger, it comes with a glass back and an aluminum frame just like flagship smartphones. Xiaomi Mi 9T is even more compact, but it is thicker and one of the reasons is the presence of a motorized pop-up camera.

Display

Huawei P40 Lite is not so trendy with its IPS display. On the other hand, Xiaomi Mi 9T looks very gorgeous with its AMOLED display boasting the HDR certification. It is a notch-less panel with brilliant colors and a great image quality, great for multimedia-addicted users. Samsung Galaxy A51 is another device with an amazing display. Just like the Xiaomi Mi 9T, it has a Full HD+ AMOLED panel with high contrast, brightness, and screen-to-body ratio. Unfortunately, it is not HDR-compliant, but it remains an awesome display for a mid-ranger.

Specs & Software

On the paper, the Kirin 810 found on the Huawei P40 Lite is the best chipset. It has great CPU and GPU performance, as well as a very low energy consumption since it is built with a 7 nm production process. And Huawei P40 Lite also offers a higher amount of RAM than Samsung Galaxy A51 and Xiaomi Mi 9T: up to 8 GB. Huawei P40 Lite has expandable internal storage, while Xiaomi Mi 9T does not. And unlike the Xiaomi Mi 9T, it has Android 10 out of the box, despite it does not come with Google services, replaced by Huawei Mobile Services. Samsung Galaxy A51 has inferior hardware to both Xiaomi Mi 9T and Huawei P40 Lite.

Camera

We still had no chance to test every camera department of these devices, but on the paper, Xiaomi Mi 9T looks more interesting. It is the only one to offer a telephoto lens, so it is the only with optical zoom, despite it has a triple camera instead of the quad-camera setup found on its rivals. Samsung Galaxy A51 looks to have a better front camera, but its rear cameras do not look promising.

Battery

With its 4200 mAh capacity (200 mAh more than Samsung Galaxy A51 and Xiaomi Mi 9T) and a very efficient chipset, Huawei P40 Lite should last more than its opponents with most of the usage patterns. It also charges a lot faster thanks to its 40W fast charging technology.

Price

You can get all of these devices for less than €300/$332 and for those prices, Huawei P40 Lite looks like a slightly better handset. But it lacks an AMOLED display and a really premium design, so keep that in mind. Further, I believe Xiaomi Mi 9T can offer a higher value for money due to a lower street price (less than €270/$299 in the 6/64 GB configuration).

Xiaomi Mi 9T was released quite some time ago and I’ve been using it for more than 1 month.

The Mi 9T has a great combination of premium design and good specs that include a Snapdragon 730 CPU, 6GB of RAM, 64/128GB of internal storage. Unfortunately, there is no microSD card slot for cheap storage expansion which is one of the flaws of this phone.

I like its design, build, display and many other features. The phone runs on the MIUI 10.3 Global ROM that is loaded with features and customization options but thanks to great optimization by Xiaomi, the phone feels smooth and fast on a daily basis.

The display is one of our favorite features of the Xiaomi Mi 9T. It’s good to see AMOLED panels even on budget/midrange phones like this and we can’t wait to see what manufacturers have in their pipeline moving forward.

Xiaomi Mi 9T is equipped with the most powerful chipset: the Snapdragon 730, which is also the best Qualcomm’s processor in the midrange segment. If you want a better chipset than Snapdragon 730 in Qualcomm’s line-up, you must go for the 800 series. The Xiaomi Mi 9T is also available with up to 6 GB of RAM, but it lacks a micro SD slot. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is just one step back with its Snapdragon 712 which is a slight upgrade of the Snapdragon 710 found on a lot of the upper-midrange phones in 2019. Xiaomi Mi A3 has an even less powerful chipset, but it comes with Android One which provides stock and lightweight Android experience as well as longer and faster updates by Google.

Camera

The best rear camera department belongs to both the Xiaomi Mi 9T and Xiaomi Mi 9 SE. Both are equipped with a 48 MP f/1.8 main sensor, a 13 MP ultrawide lens and an 8 MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. If we consider selfies, then Xiaomi Mi A3 is better because it sports an awesome 32 MP snapper on the front side. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has a slightly better selfie snapper than Xiaomi Mi 9T, especially in low light conditions.

Battery

Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is the thinnest and most lightweight one, but it also has a way smaller battery: that is the price to pay for having the most compact phone. Xiaomi Mi A3 and Mi 9T have 4030 and 4000 mAh batteries respectively, but the former wins the battery life comparison due to its more efficient and smaller HD display.

While Xiaomi Mi 9T is my favorite one, I also like the Honor 20 Lite due to its reflective glass back and its most compact size. The phone is shorter and thinner thanks to its smaller display and a smaller battery.

Display

If we consider all the midrange smartphones launched in 2019, Lenovo Z6 looks like the one with the best display quality. It is currently the only mid-rangers to support a high 120 Hz refresh ratio, and it is even HDR10-compliant (it even comes with high DCI-P3 coverage), so it boasts an amazing color reproduction. And thanks to the Super AMOLED technology, colors are very brilliant and blacks are deep. Right after, there is the Xiaomi Mi 9T which still comes with an HDR-compliant AMOLED display, but it does not have a high refresh ratio, unlike its rivals. Honor 20 Lite has a classic Full HD+ IPS display, so nothing special.

Specs & Software

The most impressive chipset is on board of the Lenovo Z6 and the Xiaomi Mi 9T. They are both powered by the new Snapdragon 730 by Qualcomm: there is currently no better midrange chipset released by Qualcomm. Lenovo Z6 is the winner of the hardware comparison as it is the only with up to 8 GB of RAM and, unlike the Mi 9T, it features a micro SD slot to expand the internal storage. All the handsets come with Android 9 Pie out of the box and a highly customized user interface.

Camera

If we talk about rear cameras, Xiaomi Mi 9T is the best camera phone thanks to its amazing 48 MP main sensor which captures a lot of light and detail thanks to its high resolution, bright focal aperture, and more. It even sports an amazing 13 MP ultrawide sensor and 2x optical zoom. But when it comes to selfies, Honor 20 Lite looks a lot better thanks to its 32 MP front camera.

Battery

Honor 20 Lite has a much smaller 3400 mAh, so it loses the battery life comparison in every usage pattern. The real fight will be between Lenovo Z6 and Xiaomi Mi 9T: both feature an impressive battery life, but we can not tell you which one lasts more until we personally tested Lenovo Z6 (it was announced just a few days ago). Note that Xiaomi Mi 9T has a faster charging technology.

Price

Lenovo Z6 starts from just €250/$280, Xiaomi Mi 9T costs €300/$336 in its base variant, and Honor 20 Lite starts from €280/$314. Overall, I would personally prefer Lenovo Z6 for its amazing display, micro SD slot up to 1 TB, and up to 8 GB of RAM. But if you want the best design and camera, go for the Xiaomi Mi 9T without thinking twice. We believe Honor 20 Lite does not stand a chance against these two rivals.

According to a recent leak, the Chinese manufacturer UMIDIGI is soon going to launch a new model following the big success of the A5 Pro. The leaked poster says that it is will be named UMIDIGI X but that might be a temporary name. According to the same poster, the phone is going to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor, a feature that is mostly found in expensive flagship devices. But according to UMIDIGI’s strategy until now, this one should be part of the budget market segment.

Currently, in-display fingerprint readers can only be applied to OLED displays so the UMIDIGI X will certainly come with one. That’s great since OLED panels have more accurate colors with true black, better contrast, and sometimes better brightness than common LCD panels. Also, they are more power efficient most of the times since LCD panels have always-on LEDs to function while OLED panels only light the portion of the display that’s needed. Apart from the fingerprint reader, the poster shows that there is no notch on the top. Does this mean that it could come with a fullview display and a pop-up selfie camera like Xiaomi Mi 9T or OnePlus 7 Pro? We’ll investigate and post any new information that comes up.

Of course, there is no launch date available right now nor is the price. It is speculated that UMIDIGI would reveal the new device in early August. In the meantime, UMIDIGI is globally recruiting 30 trial users to test its smart devices UMIDIGI Ubeats, UMIDIGI Uwatch 2, and UMIDIGI Selfie Stick (10 units each) to help improve the user experience. While the Mi 9T continues to debut in new markets, Xiaomi seems to be on overdrive in promoting the device. We recently saw the Chinese giant dissing the notch in a series of videos when we can count a handful of Xiaomi models with the notch. Xiaomi has now shared an official teardown video of the Mi 9T on Twitter.

It is already confirmed that the Mi 9T has the same design as the Redmi K20. The teardown also reveals the internals are arranged in exactly the same way as the Redmi K20 Pro. But while the Redmi K20 Pro packs a flagship Snapdragon 855 chipset, the Mi 9T shares the same Snapdragon 730 SoC with the Redmi K20. Thus, we expect a Mi 9T Pro with a flagship processor. The Mi 9T reportedly received Bluetooth certification recently.

The rear camera has two modules with one of them housing the 48MP main cam and the telephoto lens as a unit. The second module houses just an ultra wide-angle camera. The video also shows the on-screen fingerprint sensor as well as the powerful 4000mAh battery and other internals.

Yesterday, Xiaomi introduced several of its products in the Russian market. It unveiled the Xiaomi Mi 9T, Mi Smart Band 4, Mi True Wireless Earphones and Mi TVs. It is the first time Xiaomi has launched its Mi TV line of smart TVs in Russia.

Xiaomi Mi TVs

The Xiaomi Mi TV models with screen sizes of 32 inches, 43 inches and 55 inches have been brought to Russia. The precise models are Mi TV 4A 32-inch, Mi TV 4S 43-inch and Mi TV 4S 55-inch. These models are respectively priced at 11,990 rubles (~$186), 22,990 rubles (~$357) and 33,990 rubles (~$528). The sales of the new Mi TVs will begin in Russia from June 25.

To attract first time buyers, Xiaomi will be selling the three Mi TVs at discounted prices between June 25 and Aug. 5. The aforementioned models can be availed at respective prices of 9,990 rubles (~$155), 19,990 rubles (~$310) and 29,990 rubles (~$466) until Aug. 5. Apart from online store, the new Mi TV series will be also available through its offline stores. The new Mi TVs are all equipped with bright display panels, dual speakers with DTS-HD and Dolby Audio, three HDMI, USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.2, dual-band Wi-Fi and support for built-in Google play and Chromecast.

The Xiaomi Mi 9T that is selling as Redmi K20 in China was also unveiled yesterday. Its 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage models are respectively priced at 25,990 rubles (~$404) and 28,990 rubles (~$450) in Russia. The sales of the Mi 9T begins from today through its online store. The offline Xiaomi stores will be selling the smartphone from June 28. It can be availed in colors like Carbon Black and Blue.

The first buyers of the Mi 9T will get the all new Mi True Wireless Earphones. The Red variant will be brought to Russia sometime later. There is no word yet on whether the Snapdragon 855 powered Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro will be made available in Russia.

The non-NFC edition of the Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 4 has landed in Russia with a price tag of 2,990 rubles (~$46). Its sales will kick off from July 9. The Mi True Wireless Earphones is priced at 5,990 rubles (~$93) in the country. It will available for buying from June 28.

A lot of variants means more choice for consumers, but also a lot of confusion for those who are not familiar with Xiaomi line-ups and its complicate naming schemes. That is why, after the Xiaomi Mi 9T (the global variant of the Redmi K20) debuted in the global market, we decided to make a comparison between the most wanted variants of the Mi 9 (which are also the ones mostly creating confusion). Xiaomi Mi 9 and Mi 9 SE share a pretty similar design with a waterdrop notch and the same color variants, but they have an important advantage in terms of aesthetics. The former comes with a better build quality thanks to a 7000 series aluminum frame and a Gorilla Glass 5 glass back, while the latter has a more compact and thinner body. Xiaomi Mi 9 is as thin as the Mi 9 SE, but it is bigger than its toned down variant.

Display

When it comes to the quality of the display, Xiaomi Mi 9 wins the comparison with a higher-end AMOLED screen that sports a better color reproduction. If you had all of these devices on your table, you probably wouldn’t notice a huge difference, but it is worth noting that Xiaomi Mi 9 has higher DCI-P3 coverage and it is HDR10-compliant. On the other hand, the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE comes with smaller display size, so it is easier to use with one hand. Each of these devices integrates an in-display fingerprint reader and the Gorilla Glass protection, but Xiaomi Mi 9 is the only one with Gorilla Glass 6.

Hardware/Software

The hardware side is what really makes the difference here. With the Xiaomi Mi 9, you get a much more powerful chipset, that is the best Qualcomm’s flagship SoC of 2019. We are talking about the Snapdragon 855 running at a max frequency of 2.84 GHz. Xiaomi Mi 9 is also the only to be available with up to 8 GB of RAM. You may call me a Xiaomi fan, but we tested Xiaomi Mi 9T’s camera and we found it amazing, can not deny it. On the paper, it is way better than the camera departments from both the Galaxy M40 and the Huawei P20 Lite 2019, despite the latter sports a quad camera setup. Xiaomi Mi 9T has a similar setup to the vanilla Mi 9 with a 48 MP Sony main sensor, an ultrawide 13 MP lens and a telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom.

Battery

Thanks to their big 4000 mAh batteries, Huawei P20 Lite 2019 and Xiaomi Mi 9T will most likely provide a longer battery life than Galaxy M40. We believe that Xiaomi Mi 9T will last more than Huawei P20 Lite 2019 due to its AMOLED display and its efficient Snapdragon 730 chipset.

The prices of these handsets strictly depend on the markets. Xiaomi recently launched the Mi 9T smartphone in Europe and now the device is all set to debut in the Asian market. Xiaomi Malaysia has confirmed that the Mi 9T will be launched in the country on 20th June.

The company has scheduled a launch event in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur, which will be open to fans as well. With this, Malaysia will become the fourth market after France, Italy, and Spain to get the Mi 9T phone.

Soon after the Malaysian launch, we expect the smartphone to be available in other Asian countries as well. However, in India, the smartphone is set to get launched next month with their original names — Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro.

The company was expected to launch the Mi 9T Pro smartphone — a re-branded model of the Redmi K20 Pro. However, the launch didn’t happen as it was speculated. There’s a possibility that the company could unveil the Mi 9T Pro at the Malaysia launch event.

For the initiated, the Xiaomi Mi 9T is the re-branded version of the Redmi K20 smartphone launched last month in China. As for the pricing, the Mi 9T starts at €299 (original price is €329) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB version and €369 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB version.

The Xoaomi Mi 9T is the company’s first smartphone to feature a pop-up selfie camera. It comes with a 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SoC.

The pop-up selfie camera is a 16MP sensor while the back panel houses a triple camera setup which includes a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP telephoto camera, and a 13MP ultra-wide angle camera. The camera app has a bunch of modes including night mode and 960fps slow-motion recording.

Xiaomi Mi 9T vs Oppo Reno Z vs Motorola One Vision

Design

We usually award the most innovative form factors and, in this case, the most innovative designs belong to the Xiaomi Mi 9T and the Motorola One Vision. The former comes with a pop-up design and no holes on the display, while the latter has a tall punch-hole display which includes a selfie camera. I like both the punch-hole and the pop-up designs, but I personally prefer the Xiaomi Mi 9T due to its stunning glass back and the in-display fingerprint reader making the rear side cleaner. Some may still go for the Reno Z for its cleaner and original glass back, but Xiaomi Mi 9T is undoubtedly the most stunning one for me.

Display

Despite having a very tall and cinematic 21:9 aspect ratio, the display of the Motorola One Vision is not able to provide the same viewing quality as the Xiaomi Mi 9T which takes the first place even in the display comparison, alongside the Reno Z. Xiaomi Mi 9T is equipped with a bezel-less and notch-less display supporting the HDR standard for richer colors. It even has deeper blacks thanks to the AMOLED panel, as well as an in-display fingerprint reader. Even Oppo Reno Z is HDR-compliant, but it has a notch.

Specs & Software

Noone of these handsets is a flagship, but they still feature advanced performances. The most powerful is the Xiaomi Mi 9T equipped with the best Snapdragon 7xx series chipset by Qualcomm: the Snapdragon 730. If you want a better SoC than this, you can only go for the Snapdragon 8xx series which includes all Qualcomm’s flagship processors. Xiaomi Mi 9T also comes with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage, so it is almost a flagship. On the other hand, despite having a way cheaper Snapdragon 660, Motorola One Vision is still a very valid device as it is part of the Android One program. So, it comes with a lightweight stock Android version which will be updated faster and for a lot of time, directly by Google. Oppo Reno Z sits in the middle with a pretty nice Helio P90 chipset and 6 GB of RAM.

Camera

All of these devices come with a great camera department, but I personally like the photo quality of the Xiaomi Mi 9T and Motorola One Visione more than the Oppo Reno Z. Xiaomi Mi 9T is essentially a more versatile device as it comes with both ultrawide sensor and telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. But Motorola One Vision has a more stunning photo quality in low-light conditions thanks to OIS and a bright f/1.7 aperture for the main sensor. Do you prefer a slightly inferior photo quality with a more versatile camera department or a better photo quality without ultrawide sensors and optical zoom?

Battery

Unfortunately, we still had no chance to test the battery life of the whole trio. As for now, we can tell you that Xiaomi Mi 9T and Oppo Reno Z may last noticeably more than Motorola One Vision on a single charge, while there should not be an important difference in battery life between Mi 9T and Reno Z.

Price

Xiaomi Mi 9T’s official price is still unknown at the moment, but it should cost around €350/$400. Motorola One Vision starts from €300/$340, while Oppo Reno Z costs €330/$375 in Asia but it is still not available in Europe. Overall, Xiaomi Mi 9T is a better option due to its amazing display, big battery, and awesome hardware.

On June 12, Xiaomi will be launching the Xiaomi Mi 9T smartphone. Earlier this week, the smartphone was spotted on Geekbench benchmarking platform through which it was confirmed that it will be arriving as the rebranded version of the Redmi K20. Today, the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro has appeared on Geekbench to reaffirm that it will be also releasing as the rebadged edition of the Redmi K20 Pro flagship phone.

The Geekbench listing of the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro shows that it has respectively scored 3,453 and 10363 points on the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench. The handset is loaded with Android 9 Pie OS. Instead of the name of the processor in the motherboard field on the benchmarking site, its “Raphael” codename is mentioned. Multiple reports had revealed before the launch of Redmi K20 Pro that is codenamed as “Raphael.” Hence, it can be said that the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro is the rebranded version of the K20 Pro for certain markets outside of China. Interesting, the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro smartphones will be releasing with same names in India.

The recent teasers released through the global Twitter account of Xiaomi suggests that the company will be only launching the Xiaomi Mi 9T. Hence, it remains to be seen whether the Mi 9T Pro will be made official alongside the Mi 9T or it will be announced a bit later.

It is now confirmed. The much-anticipated Xiaomi Mi 9T that would hit some market soon is indeed the Redmi K20 by another name. A couple of leaked retail boxes for the Mi 9T has confirmed this. While one of the images was spotted on China’s Weibo, the second image was shared by a tech reviewer from Dubai. this suggests the device will be sold in Dubai and perhaps UAE as the Mi 9T just the same way as in Russia, Thailand and some other countries.

The retail box has the render of the device with the inscription “Mi 9T” and without any doubt, the render is the same as that of the Redmi K20 series. The retail box also shows the device will come in a Carbon Black variant and will have 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, perhaps on the base variant.

The removable screen guard that Xiaomi phones usually ship with gives the key specs to include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor. The device also has a 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with an in-screen fingerprint sensor. There is a 48MP AI triple camera at the rear and a 20MP pop-up selfie shooter. The Mi 9T also crams a 4000mAh battery under its hood and ships with an 18W fast charger.

As the saying goes, “A rose by any other name would smell as sweet”. The Redmi K20 and K20 Pro are awesome models. So, the Mi 9T wouldn’t likely disappoint except if Xiaomi slaps an exorbitant price on the phone. We expect Xiaomi to officially launch the device pretty soon.

Xiaomi has finally confirmed the Mi 9T name via a teaser on Twitter. The Mi 9T has been a regular in the rumour mills lately and the teaser finally confirms its existence. The confirmation comes on the heels of speculations that the device will be launched soon. Xiaomi had even released a teaser earlier on which sought the option of fans on what the letters among the trio of K, I, or T best suit the latest member of the Mi 9 family. This new teaser is a response to that question.

The teaser didn’t reveal any detail of the Mi 9T but rumour has it that the device will be released alongside the Mi 9T Pro. It is also said that both models will arrive as rebranded Redmi K20 and K20 Pro models. This rumour was first carried a Polish blog which claimed that these Redmi flagships will be launching as Xiaomi Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro in Poland. A Russian tech blog also rumoured that the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro will be arriving as Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro in Russia in the coming month. The blog even tipped that the Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro will be respectively priced around RUB 25,000 (~$387) and RUB 35,000 (~$540).

The Mi 9T was also recently certified in Thailand as well as Taiwan, Singapore and by the Eurasian Economic Commission. While the specifications are still not revealed, the spread of the certification shows the model will likely be sold globally when it launches. Further, Xiaomi had teased a render of the Mi 9T yesterday showing a triple rear camera setup, pop-up selfie camera, curved-edge display and the rear panel with a gradient finish. That’s basically the design of the Redmi K20 Pro. So we may see the Mi 9T coming with the Redmi K20 series design but with some slight modifications. Another thing we could pick up from the official tweet is that the phone may come with a 5G version. Xiaomi is yet to reveal a date but the launch is likely imminent.

Yesterday, Redmi unveiled the highly anticipated Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro flagship smartphones. Few days before the launch of Redmi K20 series of phones, a Polish blog had claimed that these phones will be launching as Xiaomi Mi 9T and Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro in Poland. Redmi K20 and K20 Pro Specifications and Price

The Redmi K20 and K20 Pro are both equipped with some common features like 6.39-inch AMOLED display with notch-less design, in-screen fingerprint reader, 20-megapixel pop-up selfie camera, MIUI 10 based Android 9 Pie OS and 4,000mAh battery.

The Redmi K20 features 48-megapixel + 13-megapixel (superwide) + 8-megapixel (telephoto) triple camera setup. It has Sony IMX582 as primary sensor whereas the Redmi K20 Pro featuring a similar triple camera setup includes Sony IMX586 as the main sensor. The Redmi K20 supports 18W rapid charging and the Redmi K20 Pro is equipped with 27W fast charging. The K20 is powered by Snapdragon 730 chipset and the Pro model is fueled by the Snapdragon 855.

The Redmi K20 models 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage are respectively priced at 1,999 Yuan (~$289) and 2,099 Yuan (~$303). The Redmi K20 Pro comes in four models such as 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage at 2,499 Yuan (~$362), 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage at 2,599 Yuan (~$375), 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage at 2,799 Yuan (~$404) and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage at 2,999 Yuan (~$435).

Xiaomi’s launch itinerary for this year may include another variant of the flagship Mi 9 series. The series already has the Mi 9, Mi 9 SE and Mi 9 Transparent Edition. Just like last year, there are indications that the Mi 9 may get another variant that will adopt the moniker Mi 9T. The model has been certified by NBTC in Thailand where it is listed with the model number M1903F10G. The listing also gave us a hint of the Mi 9T moniker.

The device has also received certification in Taiwan, Singapore and by the Eurasian Economic Commission bearing the same model number M1903F10G. Among the details gathered from the listing include that the model is part of the Mi 9 series.

Xiaomi is yet to reveal any detail or even confirm the existence of the purported Mi 9T but we expect that to happen soon. The device may turn out to be the Mi 9 Pro, a successor to the Mi 8 Pro which was launched last year.
