The Xiaomi MIJIA Smart Pillow has been released via a crowdfunding campaign in China. The new Xiaomi smart pillow is capable of accurately capturing heartbeat, snoring, body movement, and breathing via its piezoelectric sensor. The crowdfunding campaign for the MIJIA Smart Pillow opened on September 7 via Xiaomi Mall.

The new Xiaomi Smart Pillow integrates an AI algorithm for a raft of health and fitness monitoring. The piezoelectric sensor is well positioned at the pillow’s core and does not interfere with sleep. It can provide details about the user’s sleep state, and deep sleep duration, as well as generate sleep scores. It can be linked to other smart devices on the Xiaomi ecosystem using Bluetooth connectivity. It operates in an optimal manner that guarantees a smooth sleep cycle always.

The Smart Pillow uses four AAA batteries that give the device up to 60 days of usage. It delivers a low-voltage DC power supply that is both safe and reliable. The smart pillow comes in two sizes – 10cm and 12cm. It can be used in either direction and is ergonomically comfortable to sleep on.

Whatever way you wish to sleep, the MIJIA Smart Pillow offers the needed comfort. This allows the muscles to relax naturally and the user will get a peaceful and refreshing sleep. The pillowcase comes with strong antibacterial protection which is retained up to 90% after 20 washing sessions. The outer pillowcase is made of material that is both delicate and skin-friendly. The outer pillowcase is also soft and slightly elastic.

Xiaomi MIJIA Smart Pillow is now available for pre-order in the crowdfunding campaign. The crowdfunding price is 259 yuan ($37) while the product will originally retail at 299 yuan ($43). There are no details at this time on the global availability of the product.
