If you’re thinking of buying the Xiaomi Pad 8 in India, you’ll have to spend a bit more going forward. Launched in March 2026, the tablet has received a price hike of Rs. 2,000 across all variants.

Xiaomi Pad 8 Revised Price in India

The entry-level 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant now costs Rs. 35,999, up from its launch price of Rs. 33,999. The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model has increased from Rs. 36,999 to Rs. 38,999. Buyers opting for this variant bundled with the Xiaomi Focus Pen Pro will now have to pay Rs. 43,999, compared to the earlier price of Rs. 41,999.

The premium Nano Texture Display variant, which offers anti-glare and anti-reflective properties, with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, is now priced at Rs. 40,999, up from Rs. 38,999. The same model bundled with the Focus Pen Pro now costs Rs. 45,999.

What’s Driving the Hike?

No prize for guessing, it’s the continued surge in memory and storage chip prices. DRAM production capacity is increasingly being redirected toward data centers to meet the demands of the AI industry, creating a supply-demand imbalance for chips used in consumer electronics.

Xiaomi has not issued an official statement on the matter. Other brands, including OnePlus, Poco, and Lava, have also raised prices on several mid-range devices in recent months.

Quick Specs Recap

The Xiaomi Pad 8 features an 11.2-inch 3.2K display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 800 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5T RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage.

A 9,200mAh battery with 45W fast charging keeps the device running, while a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos handles audio duties.

The tablet runs HyperOS 3 and supports the Focus Pen Pro stylus, which offers over 16,000 levels of pressure sensitivity.

Here is a detailed comparison to help you decide which one suits your needs better.

Design and Display

The Xiaomi Pad 8 comes with an 11.2-inch 3.2K LCD display, offering a 3:2 aspect ratio and a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate. The screen supports Dolby Vision and HDR10, ensuring a smooth and vibrant viewing experience.

Xiaomi has also included TÜV Rheinland-certified low blue light technology for eye comfort. The Nano Texture Display version reduces reflectivity by 70% with AG nano-texture and AR coating, making it ideal for outdoor use. The tablet has a slim 5.75mm full-metal unibody design, giving it a premium feel.

The OnePlus Pad Go 2 features a 12.1-inch 2.8K LCD display with a 7:5 aspect ratio and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel can reach up to 900 nits of peak brightness, making it brighter than the Pad 8’s display, which is rated at 800 nits.

It also supports Dolby Vision for enhanced color accuracy. The design has slightly thicker bezels and a 6.83mm thickness, making it less slim but still well-built.

Winner: Xiaomi Pad 8

Performance and Software

The Xiaomi Pad 8 is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, an octa-core processor clocked at 3.21GHz, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5T RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.

This setup ensures flagship-level performance, making it a powerhouse for multitasking, gaming, and professional use.

It runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3, which integrates well with Xiaomi’s ecosystem and introduces features like a PC-level browser, Workstation Mode, and HyperAI for interconnectivity.

The OnePlus Pad Go 2 uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra, a capable mid-range processor paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM.

While it handles everyday tasks smoothly, it doesn’t match the raw power of the Xiaomi Pad 8.

The tablet runs on OxygenOS 16, which offers seamless integration with OnePlus and Oppo devices, including screen mirroring and file sharing.

Winner: Xiaomi Pad 8

Battery and Charging

The Xiaomi Pad 8 packs a 9200mAh battery with 45W fast charging, promising 9.3 hours of video playback. It also supports reverse charging, which is useful for powering accessories.

The OnePlus Pad Go 2 comes with a larger 10,050mAh battery, but its 33W SuperVooc charging is slower. On the plus side, it offers 60 days of standby time and extended video playback of up to 15 hours.

Winner: Tie

Cameras and Audio

The Xiaomi Pad 8 includes a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. It supports 4K video recording, which makes it a better option for users who need high-quality video. The tablet comes with quad speakers featuring Dolby Atmos for immersive audio.

The OnePlus Pad Go 2 offers an 8MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. It supports video recording up to 1080p, which limits its appeal for advanced camera use. The tablet also includes quad speakers with Dolby Atmos, delivering comparable audio performance to Xiaomi.

Winner: Xiaomi Pad 8

Pricing and Value

The Xiaomi Pad 8 starts at ₹33,999 for the base 8GB+128GB variant and goes up to ₹38,999 for the 12GB+256GB Nano Texture Display option. Accessories like the Focus Pen Pro (₹5,999) and keyboard (₹4,999-₹8,999) add to the cost.

The OnePlus Pad Go 2 starts at ₹26,999 for the 8GB+128GB Wi-Fi model, with the 8GB+256GB 5G variant priced at ₹32,999. While more affordable, it lacks the premium features of the Xiaomi Pad 8.

Xiaomi offers better features for its price, but OnePlus provides affordability and 5G support in its top model.

Winner: Xiaomi Pad 8

Which One Should You Buy?

If you’re looking for a powerful tablet with a better display, flagship-level performance, and advanced productivity features, the Xiaomi Pad 8 is the clear winner.

However, if you’re on a tighter budget and value battery life and OnePlus ecosystem integration, the OnePlus Pad Go 2 is a solid alternative.

Xiaomi has just launched its latest tablet, the Xiaomi Pad 8, in India, and it takes on the popular Apple iPad (11th Gen), which launched last year and remains one of the best tablets on the market.

Both devices offer strong performance and capable displays, but Xiaomi focuses more on value while Apple leans on its refined ecosystem. Here is a quick comparison to help you decide which one suits you better.

Display and Design

The Xiaomi Pad 8 features an 11.2-inch 3.2K LCD screen with a resolution of 3200×x2136 and a 3:2 aspect ratio. It supports a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and TÜV Rheinland-certified low blue light technology.

The device also comes in a Nano Texture Display version, which reduces reflectivity by 70% with AG nano-texture and AR coating. The tablet has a full-metal unibody design and measures only 5.75mm in thickness, giving it a premium and sleek appearance.

The Apple iPad 11th Gen offers a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display with a resolution of 2360×1640. The display supports True Tone and reaches 500 nits of brightness, but does not include a high refresh rate.

The iPad measures 7mm in thickness, making it slightly bulkier than the Xiaomi Pad 8. The iPad retains Apple’s signature design with slightly thicker bezels and rounded edges, but Xiaomi’s display and form factor make it more suited for productivity and media use.

Performance

The Xiaomi Pad 8 is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5T RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. This combination ensures blazing-fast performance, whether you’re multitasking, gaming, or editing documents.

The tablet also supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, making it future-proof in terms of connectivity.

The iPad 11th Gen runs on the A16 Bionic chip, a 5-core CPU with a 4-core GPU and a 16-core Neural Engine. While the A16’s performance is top-tier and optimized for iPadOS, the lack of higher refresh rates limits its gaming potential compared to Xiaomi’s offering.

For everyday tasks, however, the difference may not be noticeable unless you’re into demanding apps or multiplayer gaming.

Software

The Pad 8 runs on HyperOS 3, based on Android 16. The software includes advanced multitasking features such as a 5:5 vertical split view and a 1:9 horizontal split ratio for window management.

It also includes Workstation Mode, which provides a desktop-like experience with an upgraded dock for quick access to apps. Xiaomi has integrated WPS Office into the OS, making it easy to create and edit documents, slides, and spreadsheets.

The iPad (11th Gen) runs on iPadOS 26. Features such as Stage Manager and a PC-level Safari browser make multitasking smooth and intuitive.

Although HyperOS offers better multitasking options on paper, the overall software experience might feel more polished on iPadOS. Ultimately, it comes down to preference, as some users prefer Android while others prefer the Apple ecosystem.

Productivity Features

Xiaomi offers productivity accessories for the Pad 8, including the Focus Pen Pro, a pressure-sensitive stylus with gesture support, and the Focus Keyboard/Focus Keyboard Pro for a laptop-like typing experience.

These accessories are priced competitively and deliver excellent value, making the Pad 8 a great choice for budget-conscious users.

Apple takes productivity to the next level with its Magic Keyboard Folio and the 2nd Gen Apple Pencil, which is known for its precision and unmatched low latency.

The iPad also includes optional 5G connectivity, making it a highly versatile device. If you are already invested in the Apple ecosystem, nothing beats Apple’s seamless integration across devices.

From iCloud to Handoff, Apple’s ecosystem ensures a frictionless experience that Android is still striving to match.

Battery and Charging

The Xiaomi Pad 8 features a 9200mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. Xiaomi claims that the tablet can deliver up to 9.3 hours of video playback.

The tablet also supports reverse charging, which adds extra utility for users who need to charge other devices.

The iPad 11th Gen has a 28.6-watt-hour battery that Apple says can last up to 10 hours of web surfing on Wi-Fi.

While the battery life is comparable to Xiaomi’s offering, the lack of fast charging support makes it less convenient for users who need quick recharges.

Cameras and Audio

The Xiaomi Pad 8 comes with a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The rear camera supports 4K video recording, while the front camera is suitable for video calls and selfies.

The tablet includes quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support, which provides an immersive audio experience for content consumption and gaming.

The iPad 11th Gen has a 12MP rear camera and a 12MP front-facing camera with Center Stage. Center Stage keeps users in focus during video calls by tracking their movement.

The iPad also includes stereo speakers, which provide good audio quality but fall short of Xiaomi’s quad-speaker setup.

Pricing and Accessories

The Xiaomi Pad 8 starts at ₹33,999 for the 8GB+128GB model, while the top-end 12GB+256GB Nano Texture Display version is priced at ₹38,999.

The Focus Pen Pro is priced at ₹5,999, and the Focus Keyboard is available for ₹8,999. These prices make Xiaomi’s tablet and accessories more affordable compared to Apple’s offerings.

The iPad 11th Gen starts at ₹34,900 for the 128GB Wi-Fi model. The Magic Keyboard Folio is priced at ₹24,900, and the Apple Pencil costs ₹11,900.

The higher accessory prices make the iPad a more expensive option for users who want to use it as a productivity device.

Which Should You Buy?

If you’re looking for a productivity-focused tablet with cutting-edge display tech, powerful hardware, and affordable accessories, the Xiaomi Pad 8 is the better pick.

Its high refresh rate, fast charging, and productivity features make it a versatile device for work and play.

However, if you’re already into Apple’s ecosystem or prioritize software polish and app support, the iPad 11th Gen remains a solid choice.

While it may not match Xiaomi’s hardware value, its seamless integration with Apple’s ecosystem and refined iPadOS experience are hard to beat.

Xiaomi is readjusting its India launch timeline for the Xiaomi Pad 8 and the Xiaomi 17 series.

The company originally unveiled the Xiaomi 17 series at MWC 2026. Soon after that, it announced that the phones, along with the tablet, would launch on March 11. However, Xiaomi has now confirmed that the India launch has been rescheduled.

According to updates shared on X, the Xiaomi Pad 8 will arrive on March 10, with the Xiaomi 17 series following a day later on March 11.

Xiaomi Pad 8

For India, Xiaomi is keeping the spotlight on the standard Pad 8. It features an 11.2-inch LCD panel with a 3.2K resolution (3200 x 2136) and a 3:2 aspect ratio, which is slightly taller than the usual 16:10 format seen on many Android tablets.

The display supports a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate and peaks at 800 nits of brightness. It also brings Dolby Vision and HDR10 support, along with 12-bit color depth.

Furthermore, the screen supports wet-touch input and carries TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light, flicker-free viewing, and circadian-friendly performance.

Powering the Pad 8 is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip built on a 4nm process, paired with LPDDR5X RAM. Storage options include 128GB with UFS 3.1 or 256GB/512GB with faster UFS 4.1.

The tablet runs on HyperOS 3, Xiaomi’s latest software platform, which adds split-screen multitasking, a workstation mode, PC-like drag-and-drop browsing, and AI tools such as AI Writing, AI Translate, and AI Art.

Xiaomi 17 series

On March 11, Xiaomi will launch the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra in India. Notably, the Leica-branded Ultra variant available in some global markets won’t be making its way to India.

There’s also a battery difference depending on the region. While Chinese variants of the Ultra models feature 6,800mAh batteries, the global and Indian versions are equipped with 6,000mAh units.

The Indian microsite confirms that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will support 90W wired HyperCharge and 50W wireless HyperCharge. Another feature Xiaomi is highlighting is Offline Communication, which enables network-free voice calls up to 1.9 kilometers using Bluetooth and proprietary protocols.

Fresh details have emerged about the Xiaomi Pad 8 ahead of its India debut, confirming that the tablet will arrive in two versions.

The Nano Texture model is expected to mirror the variant sold in China that uses an anti-glare nano-texture layer combined with AR coating to cut reflections by around 70 percent. Xiaomi marketed this version as the Soft Light edition in its home market.

Key specifications have also been teased through Amazon’s promotional page. The tablet will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and is claimed to cross 2 million points on AnTuTu benchmarks. Xiaomi is also promoting battery endurance, stating that the device will pack a 9000mAh battery capable of lasting up to two days on a single charge. The listing additionally confirms support for accessories such as the Xiaomi Focus Pen Pro and the Xiaomi Focus Keyboard.

The tablet runs HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 and includes a quad-speaker system with Dolby Atmos.

This chipset was introduced in October 2024 and is aimed at premium sub-flagship devices. In terms of performance, it is positioned above the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 but below Qualcomm’s 2024 flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

Xiaomi has dropped fresh hints that it’s gearing up to expand its tablet lineup in India, which could be the brand’s high-end Xiaomi Pad 8 model. Considering how the Pad 8 first launched in China back in September 2025, this could mark the global debut of the next-gen premium tablets.

Xiaomi Pad 8 India Launch Nears

In a recent social media post, Xiaomi teased the arrival of a new device described only as a computing device with hints toward a thin, light form factor and flat-frame design. At the same time, Xiaomi India’s Associate Director of Marketing and PR shared a series of emojis, including a TV, smartphone icons and a tablet, suggesting multiple product launches on the horizon. The brand just released the Xiaomi QLED TV X Pro 75 (2026), and the Xiaomi 17 models global launch is right around the corner. So this teaser likely hints at its latest tablet.

Xiaomi Pad 8

To recall, the Chinese tech giant just confirmed the Xiaomi 17 series’ global release date. Back in September, the Xiaomi Pad 8 lineup was also unveiled alongside these premium devices. So, the global debut this time could be near the worldwide announcement of the Xiaomi 17. Meanwhile, tipsters like Abhishek Yadav say these hints most likely point to the Xiaomi Pad 8 entering the Indian market soon.

While Xiaomi hasn’t shared India-specific details yet, the Xiaomi Pad 8 series is already on sale in China. So we have some idea regarding its specs and features:

It sports an 11.2-inch 3.2K LCD display with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10, and Dolby Vision support

A 9,200mAh battery tuned for long usage sessions across media, gaming and productivity tasks

Near-flagship level performance with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC

Xiaomi is rumored to soon hold a global launch event to announce the Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra. A new leak, courtesy of tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, reveals that the Pad 8 lineup will also debut alongside the 17 series. While the specifications of the Pad 8 and Pad 8 Pro are already known since they have been available in the Chinese market for the past few months, the tipster has shared key details about the variants and colour options ahead of their global launch.

The leak reveals that the Xiaomi Pad 8 will be available in 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB memory options, whereas the Pad 8 Pro will arrive in variants such as 8GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB. Both devices will be offered in three shades, including blue, grey, and green.

Xiaomi Pad 8, Pad 8 Pro specifications

The Xiaomi Pad 8 and Pad 8 Pro are expected to feature an 11.2-inch LCD panel that supports a 3.2K resolution, a 3:2 aspect ratio, a 144Hz refresh rate, and 800 nits of peak brightness. The Pad 8 has the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip and supports 45W charging, a 13-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel front camera.

On the other hand, the Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered Pad 8 Pro offers 67W charging, a 50-megapixel rear camera, and a 32-megapixel front camera. Both devices share other common features, such as a 9,200mAh battery, HyperOS 3-based Android 16, Xiaomi Focus Touch Pen Pro support, PC-grade WPS and CAD support, and a quad-speaker setup.

These devices also offer connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 7, USB-C 3.2 Gen 1, NFC, and an IR blaster. It appears that the devices will lack support for 5G/4G connectivity.

The Xiaomi Pad 8 seems to be getting ready for a wider release, and a new Geekbench listing suggests the global launch may not be far off. The tablet’s international variant has now shown up on the benchmark database.

This isn’t the first sign of movement either. The Pad 8 Pro appeared on Geekbench earlier, and together the two listings make it look like Xiaomi is preparing to bring the full Pad 8 lineup to more markets. So far, the series has only been available in China, where it launched back in September 2025 alongside the Xiaomi 17 series.

The new listing belongs to a device with the model number 25097RP43G, which is believed to be the global version of the standard Pad 8. According to the Geekbench entry, the CPU core configuration is as follows:

2 × 2.02GHz

2 × 2.8GHz

3 × 3.01GHz

1 × 3.21GHz

This layout matches the Chinese variant exactly, effectively confirming the presence of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. The test unit is listed with 8GB of RAM.

Performance numbers are solid. The tablet scores just over 2,000 points in single-core tests and around 6,100 points in multi-core. That places it comfortably ahead of the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3-powered Xiaomi Pad 7, which recorded 1,877 and 5,106 points in single- and multi-core tests respectively.

In day-to-day use, this should translate to smoother multitasking and better performance in heavier apps, which is where tablets tend to show their limits.

The software version is listed as Android 16, which likely means it will ship with Xiaomi’s newer HyperOS build out of the box.

If the Chinese model is anything to go by, the Pad 8 should feature an 11.2-inch LCD panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, a large 9,200mAh battery, and 45W wired charging.

Tipster Abhishek Yadav has suggested that Xiaomi could launch the Pad 8 series globally in early March 2026, possibly around the time of MWC. That would line up with the recent increase in leaks and certifications.

For now, the Geekbench appearance doesn’t tell us everything, but it does confirm one thing: the Xiaomi Pad 8 is no longer China-only, and its global release is likely getting close.

Back in September, Singapore’s IMDA authority approved two Xiaomi tablets, which were believed to be part of the Pad 8 series. One of these tablets has already bagged FCC certification. However, while these listings revealed the model numbers, they did not confirm the final marketing names. In a new development, the Xiaomi Pad 8 and Pad 8 Pro have bagged approval from the TDRA authority in the UAE.

The Xiaomi Pad 8 series’ specifications are already known, as the lineup was unveiled in China back in September 2025. The Xiaomi Pad 8 and Pad 8 Pro share an 11.2-inch 3:2 LCD display with 3200 x 2136 resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 800 nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision, and true DC dimming.

Both tablets pack a 9,200mAh battery, run Android 16 with HyperOS 3, and support the Xiaomi Focus Touch Pen Pro, PC-grade WPS and CAD features, a quad-speaker and quad-microphone setup, and connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 7, USB-C 3.2 Gen 1, NFC, and an IR blaster.

The Xiaomi Pad 8 is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, supports 45W fast charging, and features an 8-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel rear camera. The Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro upgrades to the Snapdragon 8 Elite, offers 67W fast charging, includes dual G1 battery-management chips, and comes with a 32-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel rear sensor, along with optional PC-grade features and a soft-touch display.

With multiple certifications under its belt, the Pad 8 series may debut in the first quarter of this year. Likely, it may go official at the global launch of the Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra.

There’s an uncomfortable reality that tech buyers are slowly being forced to accept. Products are getting expensive even when the hardware itself is not worth it.

We’ve been talking about rising component costs for a while now, especially memory. RAM prices, in particular, have become a recurring headache for manufacturers and consumers alike. And sooner or later, its effect is set to show on store shelves.

Guess what? That buffer period is over now.

Not long after reports surfaced that Samsung may raise its smartphone prices, several Xiaomi products quietly became more expensive in mainland China. The increases range from 100 to 200 yuan, depending on the model.

The affected models

The price hike affects the Xiaomi Pad 8 series as well as every configuration of the Redmi Pad 2. The base Xiaomi Pad 8 now starts at 2,299 yuan, up from 2,199 yuan. Meanwhile, the higher-end Pad 8 Pro has seen its starting price climb from 2,799 yuan to 2,899 yuan.

The entry-level Redmi Pad 2 has been hit the hardest, with all models increasing in price by 200 yuan. It now starts at 1199 yuan.

According to industry analysts, the sudden adjustment is largely driven by the continued surge in memory and storage chip prices.

Xiaomi president Lu Weibing previously warned that storage costs had risen far beyond expectations, and a recent TrendForce report predicts another significant increase in storage prices in the first quarter of 2026.

A major factor behind the trend is the rapid expansion of the AI industry. DRAM production capacity is increasingly being redirected toward data centers, creating a supply-and-demand imbalance for chips used in traditional consumer electronics.

Those cost pressures are now rippling through the supply chain, and Xiaomi’s tablet price increases offer a small but telling example of how the industry is absorbing the shock.

The Xiaomi 17 series of flagship phones will debut later this month in China. The following poster, which confirms the arrival of the Xiaomi Pad 8 series, suggests that it may go official alongside the Xiaomi 17 lineup. While there is no official confirmation yet, the Pad 8 series is expected to include a standard and a Pro version. Ahead of the launch, the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro has seemingly surfaced on Geekbench.

Xiaomi Pad 8 series launching soon

Xiaomi Pad 8 series teaser

The Xiaomi Pad 8 series poster reveals that the tablet will feature slim bezels around its 11.2-inch display. Similar to last year’s Pad 7 series, both the Xiaomi Pad 8 and Pad 8 Pro are expected to come with the same screen size.

The Pad 8 series will ship with the latest HyperOS 3-based Android OS. While the rest of the specs are under wraps, the image confirms that the tablet will come with support for accessories like a keyboard and a stylus.

Xiaomi might soon expand its tablet lineup with two new models. The upcoming devices were recently spotted on China’s 3C certification database, and based on a Chinese tipster, they are a part of the Xiaomi Pad 8 series.

The new devices carry the model numbers 25091RP04C and 25097RP43C, and both have cleared China’s 3C regulatory process, which means they’re now approved for sale in the country.

While Xiaomi hasn’t made anything official yet, the certifications offer a few early clues, especially around charging speeds.

Xiaomi Pad 8 series 3C certification

According to the database, model 25091RP04C supports 67W fast charging, the same power rating seen on the Pad 7 Pro. Meanwhile, model 25097RP43C is listed with 45W charging, which matches the standard Xiaomi Pad 7. That could mean Xiaomi is preparing to launch both standard and Pro versions again, just like last year.

There’s also speculation that these devices might debut around late September, possibly alongside the upcoming flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 16. The timing lines up with the typical fall refresh window the company uses for its higher-end mobile devices.

What the predecessor offers

Last year’s Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro, for reference, features an 11.2-inch 3.2K LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, and quad speakers.

The standard Pad 7 came with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 and similar design touches but slightly trimmed-down features. Both tablets were launched with Xiaomi’s HyperOS and included extras like optional matte anti-glare displays, keyboard accessories, and fast charging.

There’s a good chance that Xiaomi will maintain the same industrial design, which features a slim metal chassis and quad-speaker audio tuned for streaming and casual gaming.

Now that the 3C listing is public for the Pad 8 series, it likely won’t be long before more official information surfaces. We will keep you updated on that.
