<p>Xiaomi has already confirmed that its top-tier <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/08/29/xiaomi-pad-9-pro-max-color-and-memory-options-leak-before-launch/">Pad 9 Pro Max</a> is coming in September 2026, powered by the company’s own <a href="https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&amp;rct=j&amp;q=&amp;esrc=s&amp;source=web&amp;cd=&amp;cad=rja&amp;uact=8&amp;ved=2ahUKEwj22cGazcmWAxWPQUEAHc-lC78QFnoECCAQAQ&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.gizmochina.com%2F2026%2F08%2F25%2Fxiaomis-xring-o3-impresses-in-early-benchmark-tests-scores-15086-in-geekbench-multi-core%2F&amp;usg=AOvVaw0QGOrPJUCA9_rRbPQ5-KLd&amp;opi=89978449">Xring O3</a> chipset. The wider Pad 9 series is also expected to include a standard Pad 9 and a Pad 9 Pro. Recent details from tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo focus on what most people believe is the Pad 9 Pro, giving a clearer idea of its core hardware.</p>

<div class="linkops-readmore" style="border-left:4px solid #e63946;background:#f7f7f8;padding:12px 16px;margin:22px 0;border-radius:4px;"><span style="display:block;color:#e63946;text-transform:uppercase;font-size:12px;font-weight:700;letter-spacing:.5px;margin-bottom:4px;">Also Read</span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/08/26/best-tablets/?ref=rm-751743-r0" style="font-weight:600;text-decoration:none;color:#1a1a1a;">Best Flagship Tablets of 2026</a></div>

<p>According to the leak, the tablet should pack a 12.5&#8243; LCD panel with 3.2K resolution and a peak 144 Hz refresh rate. Power is expected to come from Qualcomm’s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/02/11/snapdragon-8-elite-gen-5-vs-8-gen-5-vs-8-elite-benchmark-scores-spec-sheet-and-key-differences/">Snapdragon 8 Gen 5</a>, a 3 nm chip with eight Oryon CPU cores and an Adreno 829 GPU. Battery capacity is tipped at 11,000 mAh with support for 67 W wired fast charging.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="623" height="186" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Screenshot-2026-08-31-055209.png?x96852" alt="" class="wp-image-751744" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Screenshot-2026-08-31-055209.png 623w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Screenshot-2026-08-31-055209-300x90.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 623px) 100vw, 623px" /></figure></div>

<p>Overall, that’s an upgrade over the current Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro, which has an 11.2&#8243; LCD (also 144 Hz), a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, and a smaller 9,200 mAh battery while keeping the same 67 W charging. The bigger screen and larger battery should make a noticeable difference for media and all-day productivity.</p>

<p>At the moment, Xiaomi hasn’t officially confirmed the standard Pad 9 or Pad 9 Pro models, and full specs or pricing haven’t been released. The Pad 9 Pro Max is still the only one with a firm September timeline and the in-house Xring O3 chip. More details on the rest of the lineup should start appearing as the launch window gets closer. The leak just reinforces that Xiaomi is continuing to expand its tablet range with more competitive hardware across different sizes and price points.</p>

<p>Apart from this, Xiaomi is also said to be working on another tablet called the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/07/31/xiaomi-18-pro-max-xiaomi-18-global-eec-certification-xiaomi-pad-8s-pro-specs-leak/">Xiaomi Pad 8s Pro</a>. This device is expected to feature a 12.5-inch 3.2K LCD screen, a 12,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging, a 32-megapixel front camera, and a 50-megapixel main camera paired with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. It is expected to feature the company’s in-house Xring O3 chip. Speculations are rife that the Xiaomi Pad 8s Pro may debut alongside the Xiaomi 18 Fold, which is also expected to feature Xring O3 chip, later this month.</p>

<p>As far as the Pad 9 series is concerned, it may debut alongside the Xiaomi 18 lineup in September in China.</p>

<p>The Xiaomi Pad 9<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/07/21/xiaomi-17-fold-pad-9-cmiit-3c-certification/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> received 3C certification</a> in China a couple of weeks ago. Following up, two new Xiaomi tablets have now made their way into China’s MIIT database.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The models listed are 2612CRPFFC and M367FC, and if a Weibo post is to go by, they are the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro and Pad 8S Pro, respectively.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro / Pad 8S Pro MIIT certification</strong></h2>

<p>The certification shows the Pad 9 Pro supports up to 67W in charging. In comparison, the Pad 9 caps out at a maximum of 45W.</p>

<p>The M367FC, meanwhile, supports up to 120W charging, and that lines it up with everything we’ve likely already heard about the<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/07/31/xiaomi-18-pro-max-xiaomi-18-global-eec-certification-xiaomi-pad-8s-pro-specs-leak/"> Xiaomi Pad 8S Pro</a>. According to the previous report, the tablet will feature a 12.5-inch 3.2K LCD screen, a 12,000mAh battery, a 32MP front camera, and a 50MP main camera paired with a 2MP secondary sensor.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Meanwhile, a separate leak shows the parts of the Pad 8S Pro About screen, and it&#8217;s shown running the company’s in-house XRING O3 chipset. It also confirms the above-mentioned specs, and the tablet will run on HyperOS 4 based on Android 17.&nbsp;</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Xiaomi-Pad-8s-Pro-Specs.jpg?x96852" alt="Xiaomi Pad 8s Pro Specs" class="wp-image-747606" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Xiaomi-Pad-8s-Pro-Specs.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Xiaomi-Pad-8s-Pro-Specs-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Xiaomi-Pad-8s-Pro-Specs-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Xiaomi-Pad-8s-Pro-Specs-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Xiaomi-Pad-8s-Pro-Specs-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /><figcaption>Xiaomi Pad 8S Pro </figcaption></figure></div>

<p>As for the standard Pad 9, the tablet is tipped with<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/06/22/xiaomi-pad-9-key-details-leaked/"> a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip</a>, the same 45W charging speed as the outgoing Pad 8, and a battery bump to 9,720mAh.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Nothing here confirms a launch date, but clearing MIIT is usually one of the last regulatory steps before a device goes on sale in China. Given how close together these certifications are landing, you can probably expect Xiaomi to talk about both tablets alongside its next flagship phone launch rather than as a standalone event. We will keep you in the loop for anything new we learn.</p>
