The disclosure was made via a set of posters on Xiaomi&#8217;s official flagship store on Jingdong (JD.com). From what we can gather, the main difference of this version from the original model is the price tag.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/redmi-note-4x.png?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-131710" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/redmi-note-4x.png?x10805" alt="Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X Jingdong" width="504" height="550" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/redmi-note-4x.png 504w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/redmi-note-4x-275x300.png 275w" sizes="(max-width: 504px) 100vw, 504px" /></a></p>
<p>The  Redmi Note 4X Jingdong Special edition starts at 799 Yuan (~$116) which is 200 Yuan cheaper than the original price of the mid-range smartphone which sells for  999 Yuan. There are no indication that the device has got a different specs lineup different from the standard version which includes a Snapdragon 625 chip and 3GB RAM and more. The model would go up on sale as from May 19 while reservations commenced today.</p>
<p>Now, we expected the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/05/16/xiaomi-redmi-note-4x-gets-new-red-paint-job-launching-tomorrow/">Redmi Note 4X Jingdong Special Edition to come in Red colo</a>r. At least, that&#8217;s what it looked like when we saw the teaser yesterday. But today, there is no mention of the Red color model, so probably this special edition will only differ in the price and storage variants.  Note that, unlike the regular edition, that comes in 3GB + 32GB configuration, this cheaper $116 Redmi Note 4X model will come with 3GB + 16GB memory.</p>

<p>With the emergence of the Jingdong Special edition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X now has four versions. There is the high-end version which packs a MediaTek Helio X20 chip with 4GB + 64GB memory. There is also the standard version, packing a Snapdragon 625 chip backed by 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The Redmi Note 4X Hatsune Miku Special edition is also there and now, a Jingdong Special Edition with a cheaper price and lower memory configuration.</p>

Added to that, the device came in five cool colors including a Hatsune Miku special edition which came in green color. The Redmi Note 4X was only made available in 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. Well, it seems that isn&#8217;t the only memory version the device will come in.</p>

<a href='https://www.gizmochina.com/redmi-note-4x-high-2/'><img width="225" height="300" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/redmi-note-4x-high-2-225x300.jpg?x10805" class="attachment-medium size-medium" alt="" loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/redmi-note-4x-high-2-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/redmi-note-4x-high-2.jpg 480w" sizes="(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px" /></a>
<a href='https://www.gizmochina.com/redmi-note-4x-high/'><img width="225" height="300" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/redmi-note-4x-high-225x300.jpg?x10805" class="attachment-medium size-medium" alt="xiaomi redmi note 4x tenaa" loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/redmi-note-4x-high-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/redmi-note-4x-high.jpg 480w" sizes="(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px" /></a>

<p>Xiaomi did include on its website, the existence of a 4GB + 64GB version which hasn&#8217;t been made available till date. However, the high-end version of the Redmi Note 4X has appeared on TENAA. The images accompanying the TENAA listing leaves no room for doubt as to whether this is indeed the Redmi Note 4X even though it was only identified by the model name MBE6A5.</p>

<a href='https://www.gizmochina.com/redmi-note-4x-high-3/'><img width="225" height="300" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/redmi-note-4x-high-3-225x300.jpg?x10805" class="attachment-medium size-medium" alt="" loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/redmi-note-4x-high-3-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/redmi-note-4x-high-3.jpg 480w" sizes="(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px" /></a>
<a href='https://www.gizmochina.com/redmi-note-4x-high-4/'><img width="225" height="300" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/redmi-note-4x-high-4-225x300.jpg?x10805" class="attachment-medium size-medium" alt="" loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/redmi-note-4x-high-4-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/redmi-note-4x-high-4.jpg 480w" sizes="(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px" /></a>

<p>According to the TENAA listing, the Redmi Note 4X (MBE6A5) sports the same 5.5-inch TFT display with a resolution of 1980 x 1080 pixels like the current versions on sale. The device is listed with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage and on the processor end, it packs a deca-core 2.0GHz processor. Now the memory and processor might be an error.  It could actually be an octa-core 2.0GHz SoC which points to a Snapdragon 653 processor. The RAM size should, in reality, be a 4GB RAM.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/redmi-note-4x-high-5/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-118625" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/redmi-note-4x-high-5.jpg?x10805" alt="redmi-note-4x-high-5" width="600" height="331" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/redmi-note-4x-high-5.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/redmi-note-4x-high-5-300x166.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>

<p>Other listed specs include a 4000mAh battery, a dimension of 151 x 76 x 8.35mm with a weight of 170g and a host of network bands which includes 4G LTE. If this turns out to indeed be a higher version of the Redmi Note 4x, then it would come with a higher price tag. Also, the wide range of network bands it comes with could indicate it would be sold outside China. We&#8217;ll be on the look out for more information on this.</p>

Until now, we were yet to see an hands-on image of the limited edition of the Redmi Note 4X  but that is now in the past. Real live/ hands-on images of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X Hatsune Miku Edition have come out, giving us a glimpse of the green beauty.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/xiaomi-redmi-note-4x-green2/" rel="attachment wp-att-118010"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-118010" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Xiaomi-Redmi-Note-4X-Green2.jpg?x10805" alt="Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X Green2" width="668" height="472" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Xiaomi-Redmi-Note-4X-Green2.jpg 668w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Xiaomi-Redmi-Note-4X-Green2-300x212.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Xiaomi-Redmi-Note-4X-Green2-255x180.jpg 255w" sizes="(max-width: 668px) 100vw, 668px" /></a></p>
<p>On first sight, the Hatsune Miku Limited edition might be confused with a flagship device but the Redmi series are known to have cheap mid-range price tags. That doesn&#8217;t take away the fact that the design is premium and sleek. The customized version comes in green paint job only and has a fused antenna band design that is coated in silver. The camera and fingerprint sensor has a silver coated thin ring surrounding them.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/xiaomi-redmi-note-4x-green/" rel="attachment wp-att-118009"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-118009" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Xiaomi-Redmi-Note-4X-Green.jpg?x10805" alt="Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X Green" width="670" height="479" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Xiaomi-Redmi-Note-4X-Green.jpg 670w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Xiaomi-Redmi-Note-4X-Green-300x214.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 670px) 100vw, 670px" /></a></p>

Part of that top performance is hinged on the large 4,100mAh battery the mid-ranger is said to pack. A video has now emerged which shows the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X packs a long battery life which surpassed those of the iPhone 7 Plus having a 2,900mAh battery and the OPPO R9S with a 3,010mAh battery.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/02/07/xiaomi-redmi-note-4x-specs-leaked-benchmark-shows-good-performance/redmi-note-4x-8/" rel="attachment wp-att-117321"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-117321" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Redmi-note-4x-8.jpg?x10805" alt="Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X" width="690" height="776" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Redmi-note-4x-8.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Redmi-note-4x-8-267x300.jpg 267w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></a></p>
<p>Talking about the iPhone 7 Plus, the Redmi Note 4X ordinarily shouldn&#8217;t lock horns with it because it packs a superior Apple A10 chip which should be able to keep the battery usage at the barest minimum. But then, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X equally packs the efficient, mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset reputed to reduce battery usage.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/02/07/xiaomi-redmi-note-4x-specs-leaked-benchmark-shows-good-performance/redmi-note-4x-5/" rel="attachment wp-att-117318"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-117318" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Redmi-note-4x-5.jpg?x10805" alt="Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X" width="548" height="646" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Redmi-note-4x-5.jpg 548w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Redmi-note-4x-5-254x300.jpg 254w" sizes="(max-width: 548px) 100vw, 548px" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The challenge involved using the Redmi Note 4X, OPPO R9S and iPhone 7 Plus to video simultaneous like a dashboard cam, a drive around town spanning several hours. The video shoot lasted for 14 hours 26 minutes, covering a distance of 902 km. The OPPO R9S was the first to run out of power and that was followed by the flagship iPhone 7 Plus. Surprisingly, the Redmi Note 4X made it through the entire journey and still had about 18% of power left for other uses. That is despite a powerful 13MP rear camera which was in use.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/02/07/xiaomi-redmi-note-4x-available-4-colors/redmi-note-4x-green-and-black/" rel="attachment wp-att-117274"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-117274" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Redmi-Note-4X-green-and-black.jpg?x10805" alt="Redmi Note 4X green and black" width="400" height="178" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Redmi-Note-4X-green-and-black.jpg 400w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Redmi-Note-4X-green-and-black-300x134.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px" /></a></p>

<p>So we expect a very capable smartphone n the Redmi Note 4X which is also coming with a 5.5-inch Full HD display and three memory versions of 2GB + 32GB, 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB. The mid-range device is also expected with a budget friendly price tag of 999 yuan, 1099 Yuan and 1299 Yuan respectively. You can check out the video from down below.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Presently, the specifications of the Redmi Note 4X has again featured in a leak which also gifts us some live, official looking images of the smartphone in the hands of Xiaomi&#8217;s brand ambassadors. Among the specs listed is a 5.5-inch display, a large 4100mAh battery, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front sensor as well as a Snapdragon 625 chipset.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/redmi-note-4x-2-3/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-117315" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Redmi-note-4x-2.jpg?x10805" alt="Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X" width="591" height="473" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Redmi-note-4x-2.jpg 591w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Redmi-note-4x-2-300x240.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 591px) 100vw, 591px" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center"><strong><span style="color: #ff0000">Read More:</span> <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/01/19/helio-x20-vs-snapdragon-625-chips-inside-redmi-note-4-versions-compared/">Helio X20 vs Snapdragon 625: Chips Inside the Redmi Note 4 Versions Compared</a></strong></p>
<p>In the same vein, a screen shot of what is said to be the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X AnTuTu benchmark score has leaked and it shows the Redmi Note 4X scored well over 90K points (90057 points) on benchmark. Now, that is way over the capabilities of the SD 625 chip it features. The SD 625 is only capable of a score in the region of 60K points and not over 90K. If it had been the Helio X20 chip onboard, then perhaps we would have believed because it reached over 80K on benchmark onboard the Redmi Note 4. So, it is possible this AnTuTu benchmark score is fake.</p>

The company is set to launch another smartphone in the budget Redmi series, this time the Redmi Note 4X. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X has been the subject of several leaks, including those of its renders. The <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/12/28/xiaomi-redmi-note-4x-release-imminent-specs-leaked-images-surface/">device also appeared on TENAA </a>about a month ago and now, the company has officially teased what should be the launch of the device on February 16.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/xiaomi-redmi-note-4x-2-2/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-116972" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/xiaomi-redmi-note-4x-2.jpg?x10805" alt="Redmi Note 4X" width="593" height="507" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/xiaomi-redmi-note-4x-2.jpg 593w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/xiaomi-redmi-note-4x-2-300x256.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/xiaomi-redmi-note-4x-2-95x80.jpg 95w" sizes="(max-width: 593px) 100vw, 593px" /></a></p>
<p>The teaser which appeared via Xiaomi phone&#8217;s Weibo account and was also shared on the Redmi phone Weibo account gave the idea that the company would be announcing a new celebrity spokesperson on the 8th of this month who will bring a special gift on Valentine&#8217;s day which is February 14. However, the presence of the enlarged number 16 on the teaser could be an indication that the Redmi Note 4X, which was also mentioned in the post, could be launched on February 16.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/xiaomi-redmi-note-4x-4/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-116971" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/xiaomi-redmi-note-4x.jpg?x10805" alt="Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X" width="600" height="1066" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/xiaomi-redmi-note-4x.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/xiaomi-redmi-note-4x-169x300.jpg 169w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/xiaomi-redmi-note-4x-576x1024.jpg 576w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center"><strong><span style="color: #ff0000">Read Also:</span> <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2017/01/10/xiaomi-redmi-note-4x-release-imminent-full-specs-pricing-leaked-photos-emerge/">Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X Release Imminent? Full Specs, Pricing, Leaked Photos Emerge</a></strong></p>
<p>The Redmi Note 4X TENAA listing and earlier leaks hint at a device with a 5.5-inch 1080 pixels display which would be powered by a Snapdragon 653 processor and packing a 4,000mAh battery. The device would come in two memory version of 4GB RAM + 32GB of storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB of storage. So there you have it, another thousand yuan flagship on the way. The Redmi devices are known for their cheap price tag and the Redmi Note 4X is said to be no different.</p>
