Design

The design is one of the key elements of Xiaomi Mi Play. It is very hard to find a device in its price range which is as beautiful as this one. It comes with a stunning glass back and it is also the first Xiaomi phone to come with a waterdrop notch. Further, it is a compact phone and it is also very lightweight with just 150 grams. It has even a thin body with just 7.8 mm thickness. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro and Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite are classic devices with a full metal unibody design, with the latter being more compact. You can find a lot of devices with similar aesthetics and their price tags, so Xiaomi Mi Play wins the comparison.

Display

Classic IPS panels with marginal differences, so, in terms of viewing quality, we consider it a draw. The real aspect that you should consider is the size of these displays: if you want a phablet suitable for productivity and multimedia, then you should go for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro and its 6.26-inch screen. But if you prefer compact devices that fit in a pocket and are easy to use with one hand, then the other twos are better. Xiaomi Mi Play has a smaller notch, so I would prefer it to the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite.

Specs & Software

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is the device which can provide the best performances because it is equipped with a more powerful chipset: the Snapdragon 636 by Qualcomm running at a max frequency of 1.8 GHz. Further, it is the only to come with up to 6 GB of RAM in the most expensive variant. The second place goes to Xiaomi Mi Play: the first smartphone to pack the new Helio P35 SoC by MediaTek, which is on par with the Snapdragon 632. Further, it is the only to come with Android Pie out of the box, but Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite has Android One, the stock version of the operating system which will be constantly supported by Google.

Camera

Besides being the fastest phone, Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is also the best camera phone for both rear and front cameras. On the rear, it features a bright aperture and it can adapt better to every light condition, while on the front it has a dual selfie camera with a high resolution and a useful depth sensor. Xiaomi Mi Play comes right after with its sufficient rear cameras and a better front camera than Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite, but the differences between the Mi Play and Mi A2 Lite in terms of photo quality are minimal.

Battery

Xiaomi Mi Play has an average 3000 mAh battery, so it is excluded from the battery comparison because it cannot compete with its internal concurrence. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro and Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite both have a huge 4000 mAh battery and they are among the best battery phones out there. Even though the battery capacity is the same, Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite is able to provide a longer battery life because it has a smaller display paired with a very efficient SoC: the Snapdragon 625 which has a very low energy consumption. And it has a stock operative system with no bloatware or customizations that could impact on battery life.

Price

Even though they are three devices from the same company, you can find these smartphones at similar prices. Xiaomi Mi Play just debuted in China with a $160 price tag, while Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is already available in the global market with a price tag ranging from €180 to €200. At last, Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite with Android One can be found at about €160 thanks to online street prices. This handset is known as the Redmi 6 Pro in China, but in this country it comes with the MIUI instead of Android One.

Design

Asus Zenfone Max M2, Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, and Motorola One Power do not represent anything special when it comes to the aesthetics. They have a full metal unibody design which is a classic on midrange devices. But they come with narrow bezels thanks to their notches. The one I would pick is the Motorola One Power because it is splash resistant, but some might prefer Asus Zenfone Max M2 because it has a higher screen-to-body ratio and it is also the thinnest and most lightweight phone.

Display

Average IPS screens in each case, with a classic Full HD+ resolution except for the Asus Zenfone Max M2 which is only HD+. Asus decided to equip this device with a low-resolution panel in order to save more battery. So if you are looking for the best display quality, Motorola One Power is the most suitable device for you because it features the LTPS technology and a Full HD+ resolution, while Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro sits in the middle.

Specs & Software

Thanks to the Snapdragon 636 chipset, Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro and Motorola One Power provide almost the same level of performance, but I would prefer Motorola One Power because it has Android One and a micro SD dedicated slot allowing to use more than a SIM while you are using the expansion slot too. Asus Zenfone Max M2 has inferior performance because it features the lower-end Snapdragon 632 chipset and just 3 GB of RAM, while its opponents come with up to 6 GB of RAM depending on the market.

Camera

When it comes to photo and videos, Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro wins because of its overall camera performance. I like both its dual rear camera and its dual front camera setups, even though the rear one remains a midrange-class setup and it loses a lot of detail in low-light conditions. Motorola One Power is at the second place with a brighter aperture than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro for the rear camera and a pretty nice front camera. We still did not test Asus Zenfone Max M2, but on the paper it is disappointing.

Battery

As said in the first paragraph, the battery is the strongest point of these smartphones which come with huge lithium units. Motorola One Power wins the battery challenge because of a bigger 5000 mAh battery allowing it to last even more than two days with a stressed use. But its opponents still provide a very long battery life, so you should not worry in any case if you are looking for a phone with an excellent battery life.

Price

I would personally choose Motorola One Power because of its bigger battery, Android One and its faster updates, good performances, and decent cameras. But it costs more than its opponents: about €270/$307, while Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is easy to find at less than €200/$227 and Asus Zenfone Max M2 costs about €171/$195. Anyways, I would definitely spend up to €100 more for a better phone like Motorola One Power. And I hope Lenovo keeps releasing phones with a great quality price-ratio such as Motorola One Power and Lenovo S5 Pro as they are great rivals for the best-selling Chinese phones.

Design

If you decide to buy one of these devices, do not expect a flagship-class design. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro and Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 both come with a full metal unibody design, while Huawei Y9 (2019) is equipped with a more attractive multi-layer plastic back which seems glass. And it also has a higher screen-to-body ratio. That is why if you want the best design you should go for the Huawei Y9 (2019). But remember that it has bigger dimensions.

Display

With narrower bezels and a higher screen size, Huawei Y9 (2019) has the most comfortable display. But the quality is more or less the same as its opponents, more than sufficient but nothing spectacular. It offers a Full HD+ resolution just like Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro and Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1, so it has more or less the same level of detail.

Specs & Software

Talking about hardware and performance, Huawei Y9 (2019) is the winner once again. Its chipset makes the difference as it is the new 12 nm Kirin 710, paired with up to 6 GB of RAM. On the other hand, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro offer a lower energy consumption with their Snapdragon 636.

Camera

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has the most outstanding camera department, even though it is not a high-end camera phone. It has a total of four cameras: two on the front and two on the back, with bright apertures and high resolutions. It is very good to capture depth info but it is not recommended for shots in low light conditions.

Battery

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is an outsider when it comes to the battery life, and it is able to last much longer on a single charge thanks to its 5000 mAh unit. It is not only the winner in this trio but also one of the phones with the highest battery life. But its opponents are still excellent with their 4000 mAh batteries.

Price

I would personally pick Huawei Y9 (2019) because of its better aesthetics, bigger display, and great performance, but it costs a bit more. It was launched with a price tag of €220, while Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro cost €160 and €190, respectively.

A new generation of affordable midrange smartphones is finally among us. Another quality-price ratio champion in the Indian market is definitely the Realme 2 Pro from Oppo’s sub-brand, and here we compared them to establish which one has the highest value for money.

Design

Huawei Honor 10 Lite is one of the most beautiful and attractive phones thanks to its futuristic and flagship-like design. It has a wonderful glass back available in gradient color variants, as well as a very high screen-to-body ratio thanks to a narrow chin and a waterdrop notch. Oppo Realme 2 Pro is beautiful too, but it is made of polycarbonate, unlike the Honor 10 Lite. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has a full metal body which is all but stunning at a first glance.

Display

All average IPS panels, they have nothing special and just an average viewing quality. So do not choose the best smartphone for you by basing on the display. We can just tell you that Honor 10 Lite and Oppo Realme 2 Pro have narrower bezels and smaller notches, so you may like them more.

Specs & Software

Oppo Realme 2 Pro is the phone which performs better thanks to its more powerful Snapdragon 660 chipset. It is a better SoC especially for gaming, and it is paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal storage on the Realme 2 Pro, while Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro and Honor 10 Lite offer max 6 GB of RAM. Honor 10 Lite is customized by the EMUI based on Android Pie, while Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro and Realme 2 Pro have MIUI and Color OS based on Android Oreo.

Camera

The dual rear cameras of these handsets are more or less at the same levels with bright apertures and a decent level of detail even when light conditions are not the best. The front camera of Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro makes the difference if you love selfies as it is paired with a secondary depth sensor. But overall, it is a draw.

Battery

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is much better than Realme 2 Pro and Honor 10 Lite when it comes to battery life because it has a much bigger lithium unit with a 4000 mAh capacity. Further, its Snapdragon 636 is a very efficient SoC and it is optimized in an excellent way.

Price

There is not a clear winner of this comparison and each of these devices is very close to each other. I would personally pick Oppo Realme 2 Pro due to its better performance, but if you want more battery life go for the Redmi Note 6 Pro, while if you are looking for the best design choose Honor 10 Lite. While Honor 10 Lite and Realme 2 Pro start from about €175/$200 in China, Redmi Note 6 Pro costs about €190/$216.

While the first twos belong to existing series, the Mi 8 Lite is the first “Lite” version of a Xiaomi’s flagship and it looks even more interesting in terms of design and performance. Should you choose this brand new device or one of the other twos from consolidated existing line-ups? This comparison will help you find out by highlighting their pros and cons.

Design

Every design maniac would prefer Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite to its opponents because it features the most beautiful aesthetics. It has a stunning glass back and a higher screen-to-body ratio than its opponents. Further, it is available in gradient hues. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro and Xiaomi Mi A2 both have a full metal unibody design available in normal colors, and the only important difference between their designs is the notch which is only present on the Redmi Note 6 Pro.

Display

All the displays of these devices are more or less at the same levels. They all feature an IPS panel with a Full HD+ resolution, a similar brightness and a similar color reproduction. There is only a big difference between Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro and Xiaomi Mi A2: as said above, Xiaomi Mi A2 does not have a notch, but it features thicker bezels. So, choose by basing on your tastes.

Specs & Software

Xiaomi Mi A2 and Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite have the hardware side which can provide the best performance. Both come with a Snapdragon 660 chipset and up to 6 GB of RAM. Xiaomi Mi A2 is slightly better in terms of performance because (unlike its opponents customized with MIUI) it has Android One installed, which is a stock and lightweight version of the operating system with faster updates and Google’s support.

Camera

The rear camera of Xiaomi Mi A2 is way better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite. It comes with a higher resolution for the secondary sensor (20 MP) and brighter apertures, so it can capture more light and provide more detail. But when it comes to the front camera, Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is the most useful one as it has a dual front setup with a secondary depth sensor.

Battery

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is the only phone of the trio with an above-average battery. It has a capacity of 4000 mAh and it is one of the most satisfying Xiaomi phones when it comes to battery life. There are not many phones in the market which can reach its battery life.

Price

All of these devices can be purchased with a price tag around €200/$226, with just slight differences depending on the street prices available at a certain moment. There is not a real winner of this comparison: you should go for the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite if you care more about design and performance, Xiaomi Mi A2 if you want good performance and a great camera, and Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro if you are looking for a long battery life.

Design

There is not really a device which is more beautiful or has a way better build quality than each other in this trio. Lenovo S5 Pro has definitely the most original aesthetics, but it is all about tastes. All of these devices feature a full metal unibody design just like most of the lower-midrange phones released in the market in the last 2-3 years. So, nothing surprising but nothing disappointing at the same time.

Display

There are no important differences between the displays of these handsets as well. If you like to have the thinnest bezels, then you should choose Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro or Lenovo S5 Pro, while if you hate notches, you should choose Meizu Note 8. All of them are IPS panel with the same resolution and a similar screen size.

Specs & Software

Under the hood, these devices feature similar components as well. As Meizu Note 8 packs a Snapdragon 632 and its opponents boast a more powerful Snapdragon 636, you should go for the Redmi Note 6 Pro or Lenovo S5 Pro if you care about having the best performance. All the software sides of these handsets are highly customized, with the user interfaces Flyme OS, MIUI and ZUI, respectively.

Camera

The most satisfying camera department belongs to the Lenovo S5 Pro. It has a total of four cameras: two on the front and two on the back. The rear cameras have a bright aperture, high resolutions and they also support 2x optical zoom. Further, there is a dual front camera with amazing performances when there is light, which can also capture depth information.

Battery

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is the champion of battery life as it packs a 4000 mAh battery which can achieve up to 2 days of usage on a single charge. The battery is supported by a wonderful optimization which makes it last even longer. However, it does not charge so fastly, so if you want a phone that charges rapidly you should choose Meizu Note 8.

Price

You can find all of these devices with a price tag of about €200/$227, which is a very affordable price for handsets like these. Given its better camera department and its stereo speakers, for me, Lenovo S5 Pro is the winner of the comparison. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro takes the second place with its big and long lasting battery.

Xiaomi mobile devices like smartphones and phablets usually garner huge popularity after hitting the store shelves, and the recently released Redmi Note 6 Pro is no exception. Equipped with a 6.26-inch display, the Xiaom–branded phablet became an instant hit among those who fancy watching their favorite videos on a big-screen mobile device.

Regrettably, the big-screen phablet failed to sweep cost-conscious buyers off their feet since it didn’t come cheap, but that’s about to change. In a bid to make the Redmi Note 6 Pro available to those living on a tight budget, the Chinese electronics giant is now offering its latest phablet at a dropped price on GearBest.

As we divulge more details regarding the aforesaid discount, you’ll learn about saving a considerable amount of extra money during the check out process. So without further ado, let’s head straight to the details.

The Redmi Note 6 Pro would normally set you back a pretty penny on both online and offline stores, but you can now buy it at a dropped flash sale price of $179.99. This is a noteworthy 26% reduction in the phablet’s original selling price.

On top of that, you can apply coupon code GB$MPNT6PD to bring your already discounted grand total further down to just $169.99. In other words, you can save an extra $10 simply by applying the above-mentioned coupon before you proceed to checkout.

An absolute bargain at this price, the Redmi Note 6 Pro 4G phablet features a 6.26-inch FHD+ display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels. Moreover, it packs a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 636, 64-bit processor along with an Adreno 509 GPU, under the hood.

The phablet offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB. On the back, it houses a 12.0MP+5.0MP dual-camera setup, while there are 2.0MP+20.0MP cameras placed on the front for selfies.

The Redmi Note 6 Pro runs on MIUI 9-based Android 8.1 Oreo OS and is backed by a 4000mAh battery. The phone boasts a slew of useful sensors including e-compass, fingerprint sensor, gravity sensor, and gyroscope.

Design

Given that the Y series always included entry-level devices, it was hard to expect beautiful aesthetics from Huawei Y9 (2019). But this time it is the opposite: the Chinese company launched a very impressive device which comes with a glass back and even a gradient color variant. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro did not change its aesthetics and materials compared to the Note 5, while Realme 2 Pro is beautiful but it has a plastic design. So Huawei Y9 (2019) wins.

Display

Always told you that if you want a mid-range phone, you have to face the fact that displays will not offer you the best viewing quality in the market. And that is the same with these devices which come with a classic IPS display which is nothing special in terms of viewing quality. So I would pick the Huawei Y9 just because it offers a bigger size which improves the usability on a device like this, especially for advanced users.

Specs & Software

The gold medal for hardware and performance goes to Oppo Realme 2 Pro as it features the most powerful hardware side. It is equipped with a great Snapdragon 660 chipset by Qualcomm which is paired with up to 8 GB of RAM (8 GB RAM and 182 GB of internal storage in its most expensive variant). Thanks to these components, performances are almost flagship-like in some usage patterns.

Camera

Talking about camera, Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has definitely the best setup, at least on the paper. It features four cameras, two on the front and two on the back. But note that Realme 2 Pro has a brighter aperture on the rear side, so it should be able to shoot very detailed photos in low light conditions.

Battery

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro and Huawei Y9 (2019) have the biggest battery, and they are surely the devices with the longest battery life. Both Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro and Huawei Y9 have a 4000 mAh unit which is able to last two days on a single charge on the former, according to Xiaomi. Usually, Xiaomi optimizes the battery in a better way on its mid-rangers, so we believe Redmi Note 6 Pro will last more. But we will be able to confirm it only after testing the Huawei Y9.

Price

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro carries a price tag of $215 in its base variant, Realme 2 Pro costs $102 and Huawei Y9 (2019)’s price is not known yet. Currently I would pick Oppo Realme 2 Pro due to its better performance, but if Huawei Y9 (2019) will come with the same price I will have to rethink my opinion.

Design

If you want the most beautiful device, choose Lenovo Z5 without even thinking. First of all, it has the most narrow bezels and the highest screen-to-body ratio of the trio. Further, it has the most attractive body with a reflective rear glass which is also available in a gradient color variant (Aurora). Nokia 6.1 Plus is at the second place for its good glass back and its more compact dimensions.

Display

I would pick again Lenovo Z5 on the display side. I like its 18.7:9 panel with its very narrow bezels and the strong protection of Gorilla Glass 3, but note that there is no much difference between this panel and the ones of Nokia 6.1 Plus and Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro. So, if you really have to choose one of these devices, check the other specifications instead of the display quality.

Specs & Software

Just like the display, the hardware department of these handsets is similar as well. They all come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset paired with up to 6 GB of RAM in the most expensive variants, except Nokia 6.1 Plus which comes with just 4 GB of RAM. The only consistent difference is in the software. While Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro come with a highly customized Android fork (MIUI and ZUI respectively), Nokia 6.1 Plus is part of the Android One program with a stock experience and fast updates. Choose the OS you like more without caring a lot about performance.

Camera

The best camera department belongs to Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro. It has a total of four cameras: two on the back and two on the front side. Both the setups are equipped with secondary depth sensors for a wonderful bokeh effect, and they can click highly-detailed photos. Nokia 6.1 Plus and Lenovo Z5 have all but bad cameras, but they are inferior to Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro on the paper, especially when it comes to selfies.

Battery

Given that Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has a much bigger battery than Nokia 6.1 Plus and Lenovo Z5, it wins even the battery comparison. According to Xiaomi, it is easily able to last two days on a single charge. The other twos are just average battery phones which can last one working day.

Price

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is definitely the winner of this comparison thanks to its better camera department and its longer battery life. It costs $216, while Nokia 6.1 Plus cost about $225 and about $200, respectively.

Despite the high expectations from this handset, it is just a slight upgrade if we compare it with the Note 5 Pro, but its launch price makes it a “best buy” in the $200 price range. But this is not the only device of this second half of 2018 to come with an impressive quality-price ratio. That is why we compared it with two other devices which we define the champions of quality-ratio of H2 2018: Oppo Realme 2 Pro and Huawei Honor 8X. Let’s discover which one should you pick if you are looking for a new smartphone.

Design

If you want the most beautiful phone, you should definitely not go for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro as it features a classic full metal unibody design similar to the one of Redmi Note 5 Pro. Oppo Realme 2 Pro is elegant and futuristic with its waterdrop notch, but its body is made of polycarbonate. That is why Huawei Honor 8X with its elegant and reflective glass back as well as its very narrow bezels wins the design comparison.

Display

Unfortunately, when it comes to mid-end smartphones, it is hard to find differences between displays. And it is the same with this trio of phones coming with the same resolutions, all with an IPS panel and with similar viewing qualities. I would pick Honor 8X simply because it has a bigger size: 6.5 inches. But note that you may not agree as it also features bigger dimensions.

Specs & Software

Oppo Realme 2 Pro is the king of performance on its price range, and we are not only referring to this trio of phones. It comes with the powerful Snapdragon 660 SoC by Qualcomm paired with up to 8 GB of RAM. It is definitely the best for you if you are an advanced user and you often play games, but you want to save some money. Further, this device offers amazing performance with multi-tasking.

Camera

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro sports four cameras: two on the front and two on the back. Both the setups feature pretty nice performances if light conditions are good and we choose this device as the winner of the camera comparison. At the second place, we prefer to put the Oppo Realme 2 Pro due to its brighter aperture for the rear camera, but differences are very marginal.

Battery

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro wins even on the battery side as it has a bigger lithium unit with a capacity of 4000 mAh. Further, it has one of the most efficient chipsets out there: the octa-core Snapdragon 636. Xiaomi claims it is able to last for two days with a single charge. It will surely have a way longer battery life than its opponents.

Price

At last, there is the price. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro was launched in Thailand with a price tag which translates into about $216, Oppo Realme 2 debuted in India for just $192 and Honor 8X carries a launch price tag of $255. I would personally pick Oppo Realme 2 Pro for its better hardware, well-balanced specs and for having the best price.

The mid-range smartphone is the successor to the Redmi Note 5 Pro but it’s not a major upgrade.

In Thailand, the phone is priced at 6,990 baht, which roughly converts to 1,499 yuan or $216. It comes in three color options to choose from — Black, Blue, and Rose Gold.

In terms of design, the phone comes with an aluminum unibody design while the upper and lower parts are made of plastic to provide a better antenna signal transmission. The phone still has a 3.5mm headphone jack but the company has opted for a micro USB port instead of USB Type-C port.

The Redmi Note 6 Pro features a 6.26-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a 19:9 aspect ratio, which is slightly bigger than the Redmi Note 5 Pro‘s 5.99-inch display. Unlike its predecessor, the phone comes with a notch on top of the display.

Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm‘s Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor — the same chipset that powers the Redmi Note 5 Pro. It packs 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, along with a microSD card slot that enables you to further expand the phone’s storage capacity.

Coming to the camera department, it bears a dual-camera setup on the back, with a primary sensor of 12-megapixel with Dual Pixel autofocus and f/1.9 aperture, and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor for depth sensing. Interestingly, on the front side too, the phone has AI Dual Cameras, with a 20-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. There’s also support for Portrait Mode and Face Unlock feature.

The phone runs Android Oreo operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own MIUI 9 on top. It comes with the usual set of connectivity options and is fuelled by a 4,000mAh battery with fast charging support, which the company says can last for two days on a single charge.

None of these offers more details than the unboxing video of the Redmi Note 6 Pro which was posted by Youtuber Technical Guruji on his YouTube channel.

The video offers us a detailed video of the Redmi Note 6 Pro unboxing. It takes us through the entire process right from when it is still inside the retail box. The retail box only houses the device, a USB cable and a 10W charging adapter which some might see as disappointing. The phone is confirmed to feature a huge 6.26-inch notch display screen with a 19:9 aspect ratio and FHD+ resolution. It will still utilise the Snapdragon 636 chipset just like the Redmi Note 5 Pro but this particular model in the unboxing video has the modest 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage. It runs MIUI 10 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

We just don’t know how soon but Gizmochina’s online shop Giztop seems to give us a clue that the device will launch pretty soon. That is because the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has gone up for pre-order on the online retail outfit for just $199. The guys at Giztop obviously know so much about the device than we do. That perhaps explains why the pre-order price tag is pegged at $199.

The Giztop listing also confirms some of the key specifications of the Redmi Note 6 Pro as well as the design. The device is confirmed to feature a mammoth 6.26-inch FHD+ display which is a perfect fit for watching videos online. This is in the same category as the Mi Max 3’s display. However, the Redmi Note 6 Pro offers way more firepower, packing a Snapdragon 660 premium chipset. The device will equally be available in 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM versions while the storage options include 32GB, 64GB and 128GB respectively.

On the camera end, Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro also excels, sporting a dual camera setup at the rear and another dual camera at the front. The rear setup is a 12MP+5MP combo while the selfie shooters is a 20MP+2MP combo. The phone also packs a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and on the software end, it runs MIUI 10 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. Keeping the lights on is a 4000mAh battery which comes with Quick Charge support. On the design aspect, the rear design looks like the Redmi Note 5 Pro but the front differentiates both models. The Redmi Note 6 Pro has a notch design which thus means its bezels are thinner and the screen ratio is bigger upon a larger display screen. The Redmi Note 5 Pro is just 5.99 inches.
