Redmi took the covers off the Redmi Note 8 and the Note 8 Pro during a launch event that took place in China in August this year. The phones pack radically improved specifications as compared to their predecessors the Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro phones that were also launched this year.

One of the main USPs of the recently unveiled Redmi Note 8 series is that it houses four cameras at the back. Touted as the world’s first smartphone featuring a 64-megapixel camera, the Redmi Note 8 has now gone up for sale bearing a considerably lowered price tag on Banggood.

The 4GB RAM+64GB ROM Redmi Note 8 Global Version would normally set you back a pretty penny, but Banggood is giving you a chance to buy it for a lowered price of just $271.08. This is a significant reduction in the handset’s original asking price of $279.99.

In addition to getting the aforesaid discount, you can get a free gift with your order. The BlitzWolf BW-TC14 3A USB Type-C Charging Data Cable which usually retails for $4.50 will be included in your order for absolutely free. On top of that, the Chinese online store known for offering the best bang for your buck is offering free shipping on orders over $19.99.

Available in three highly appealing color options including Moonlight White, Neptune Blue, and Space Black, the Redmi Note 8 is an irresistible phone. It sports a mammoth 6.3 Inch FHD+ screen with rounded display corners and a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels.

It has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top for added protection. The ‘Redmi’ brand name has been placed on the slightly thick chin of the device. However, Redmi says the Note 8 offers a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio.

There is a dedicated microSD card slot on the Redmi Note 8 for more storage. The phone supports an external TF card up to 256GB (VFAT). Furthermore, the Redmi Note 8 packs a powerful Snapdragon 665 Octa-core processor.

It is worth mentioning here that the same processor powers up the Xiaomi Mi A3 / Mi CC9e, as well as the Realme 5 smartphones. Aside from that, it has a highly competent Adreno 610 graphics processing unit under the hood.

On the photography front, the smartphone houses a quad-camera setup comprising Sony IMX586 48.0MP + 8.0MP + 2.0MP +2.0MP sensors at the back and a 13.0MP front shooter equipped with AI beautification features for superior self-portraits.

The Redmi Note 8 runs MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie OS and draws its juices from a robust 4000mAh lithium-ion polymer battery that supports 18W fast charge. Moreover, the handset features a slew of useful sensors including an ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, e-compass, infrared sensor, and a fingerprint sensor.

The connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, USB-C, and 3.5mm audio jack. You can check out more details about the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 smartphone by visiting this link. It is worth mentioning here that the promotion sale will only be valid for a limited period.
