Xiaomi will hold a launch event on October 27 where the tech giant is expected to launch the Redmi Note 12 series. Apart form the premium mid-range series, the company has also lined up a number of products that would make their entrance on that day. One of them is the Redmi Projector series.

An official teaser poster shared by the company shows that the brand will unveil the Redmi Projector alongside the Redmi Projector Pro. The teaser posters give us our first look at the models. The models will be the first projectors Xiaomi will launch under the Redmi brand. This is no surprise, though, as the company has continued to expand the products offered under the Redmi brand.

Basically, the design of the Redmi Projector and Projector Pro are similar to that of the Mi Smart Compact Projector. The major different is just that the Pro model will uses an all-black paintjob instead of the traditional black and white hue Xiaomi products are known for. The vanilla variant adopts a matching black and white colour style. We also expect the Pro model to offer a higher lumen and better picture quality. The projectors adopt a vertical standing design in a compact body. It also has fine curved edges

The new projector will be available for pre-sale on October 27 but will go on their first sales on October 31. We expect the Redmi-branded projectors to come with affordable prices going by Redmi’s track record. The specifications are not known at this time but we’ll bring you the details when they go official.
