The Xiaomi Smart Lightstrip Pro is a new addition to the company’s smart home ecosystem. This innovative device which has just gone official in Europe, allows users to set the mood in any room with its ability to cast soft 3D-colored light. The light strip has 60 colored LEDs per 1m and is made of matte materials to spread the light evenly.

The Smart Lightstrip Pro allows you to synchronize the light effects with your music. This can be done thanks to the built-in microphone in the controller, which allows you to adjust the light to the beat of your favorite songs. Additionally, if you have Razer ChromaTM RGB or ASUS Aura Sync software for your RGB peripherals, you can also synchronize the lights with your games for an immersive gaming experience.

The Smart Lightstrip Pro is also compatible with the Google Home ecosystem, which allows users to control the lights with their voice using a Google Home device. You can also use the Xiaomi Home app to adjust the light’s settings, choosing from 16 million colors, three sensitivity controls, and four dynamic effects. There are eight preset moods to choose from, such as ‘cozy fireplace’, and over 100 custom configurations available.

The Smart Lightstrip Pro is easy to install and use. Each light strip is 2 m (~6.6 ft) long and you can connect 1 m (~3.3 ft) long extender units for up to 5 m (~16.4 ft) of light. The unit comes with a control panel with three keys for selecting the mode, resetting the unit, and switching the unit on/off. The control panel also has a built-in microphone that enables the music sync feature.

The Xiaomi Smart Lightstrip Pro is presently available to buy in Germany for €99.99 (~$109) from the Mi Store. It is also available in Spain via Powerplanetonline for a discounted €69.99 (~US$76). While it is not yet known if or when the product will be available in other markets, the release of this device in Germany and Spain is an indication that the company is expanding its smart home offerings to the European market.
