<p>Xiaomi keeps adding more products to its product family. While many of us know the company for its smartphones, it also offers a wide range of products, from televisions to smart scales. Now, they have added X Series Smart TVs to their lineup. The company has released the eagerly awaited X Series Smart TVs in India. Here are the details&#8230;</p>

<h2><strong>Xiaomi&#8217;s X Series Smart TV Offers Unparalleled 4K Entertainment Experience</strong></h2>

<p>India is one of the most important markets for Xiaomi. The company has a significant market share here, not only with its smartphones but also with its other products. For example, when we look at the smart TV market in India, we see that Xiaomi is leading with 10.5%. The success of this tech giant is due to its advanced but affordable television models. Now, Xiaomi has added X Series Smart TVs to their lineup.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/xiaomi-x-series-smart-tv-launches-in-india-with-1024x576.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi X Series Smart TVs" class="wp-image-554923" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/xiaomi-x-series-smart-tv-launches-in-india-with-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/xiaomi-x-series-smart-tv-launches-in-india-with-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/xiaomi-x-series-smart-tv-launches-in-india-with-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/xiaomi-x-series-smart-tv-launches-in-india-with-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/xiaomi-x-series-smart-tv-launches-in-india-with-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/xiaomi-x-series-smart-tv-launches-in-india-with-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/xiaomi-x-series-smart-tv-launches-in-india-with.jpg 1280w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>Taking feedback from its users and fans, Xiaomi has brought back the 65-inch model to the X Series after four years. The X Series also has models in 55-inch, 50-inch, and 43-inch sizes. Instead of focusing on apps, the new X Series Smart TVs from Xiaomi now use a &#8216;Content first UI system. This is powered by Google TV and PatchWall+, and it customizes what users see based on what they like to watch.</p>

<p>The X Series Smart TVs feature a number of upgrades over previous models, including a new content-first UI powered by Google TV and PatchWall+, Dolby Vision and Vivid Picture Engine technology, a 30W speaker with Dolby Audio, and a bezel-less design with full-screen experience with up to 98% screen-to-body ratio.</p>

<p>The latest Xiaomi Smart TV X Series can display images in Dolby Vision and HDR10. These technologies make colors look more real and improve the brightness and range of colors shown on the screen. This Xiaomi TV series has a special feature called Vivid Picture Engine (VPE), which Xiaomi built. It lets the TV show up to 94% of the DCI-P3 Color Range, giving the viewer access to over a billion different colors. </p>

<p>This greatly enhances what you see on the screen. On top of this, Xiaomi has its own technology, called Reality Flow, that makes sure moving images on the screen don&#8217;t blur and look smooth, even when they&#8217;re moving quickly. Besides the Dolby Audio and powerful 30 Watt speakers, the Xiaomi Smart TV X series support DTS:X and DTS: Virtual X Technology, allowing users to discover new levels of detail, clarity, and depth for a powerful room-filling surround sound that completes an immersive entertainment experience.</p>

<p>The latest Xiaomi X Series smart TVs have some really neat features. They come with Google Assistant so you can control them by speaking. They also have Chromecast built-in, and Miracast which lets you show stuff from your phones, tablets, or laptops on the TV. What&#8217;s more, these new TVs can connect with all the new video game consoles. They have 3 HDMI v2.1 ports, 2 USB ports, and a port for an audio/video cable and earphones. These TVs run on a 64-bit Quad Core A55 chip, and have dual band Wi-Fi for fast internet. The X Series also includes Bluetooth 5.0, making it easy to connect to any audio device.</p>

<h2><strong>Price and Availability</strong></h2>

<p>The 65-inch version of the Xiaomi Smart TV X Series will be ready to buy starting August 5th, 2023. The other versions of this Xiaomi Smart TV series start at a price of 28,999 Indian Rupees. You can start buying them a day earlier, on August 4th, 2023. You can find these TVs online on websites like <a href="https://www.mi.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Mi Store</a> and Flipkart, or at retail stores.</p>

<p>Xiaomi unveiled a new television lineup in India today at the company’s Smarter Living 2023 event. It is officially called the Xiaomi Smart TV X Pro series and as the name suggests, it is a better version of <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/08/30/xiaomi-smart-tv-x-series-launch-price-specs/">last year&#8217;s vanilla X series</a>.</p>

<p>The television comes with a 4K HDR-enabled screen and boots Google TV, which is first for a Xiaomi TV in India. Let’s go through all the features offered by it.</p>

<h2><strong>Xiaomi Smart TV X Pro Series Specifications</strong></h2>

<p>The Xiaomi&nbsp; Smart TV X Pro series sports a bezel-less metallic frame. It is built around a 4K LED-backlit LCD panel that supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision IQ, and the company’s proprietary color profile — Vivid Picture Engine 2.</p>

<p>It arrives in three sizes, such as 43”, 50”, and 55”. The latter house 40W speakers, while the former packs 30W speakers. Anyway, all models support Dolby Atmos and DTS: X.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="595" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Xiaomi-Smart-TV-X-Pro-Series-Features-1024x595.png?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Smart TV X Pro Series Features" class="wp-image-529720" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Xiaomi-Smart-TV-X-Pro-Series-Features-1024x595.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Xiaomi-Smart-TV-X-Pro-Series-Features-300x174.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Xiaomi-Smart-TV-X-Pro-Series-Features-768x446.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Xiaomi-Smart-TV-X-Pro-Series-Features-696x404.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Xiaomi-Smart-TV-X-Pro-Series-Features-1068x621.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Xiaomi-Smart-TV-X-Pro-Series-Features-723x420.png 723w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Xiaomi-Smart-TV-X-Pro-Series-Features.png 1423w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>The television comes with an ambient light sensor for automatic brightness and far-field microphones for voice control. It boots <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Google-TV/">Google TV</a> OS with the brand’s own PatchWall content aggregation service.</p>

<p>There’s support for all leading streaming platforms, Chromecast Built-in, and Google Assistant. Unfortunately, it does not have Apple AirPlay, which is present on the recently released <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/03/14/redmi-smart-fire-tv-32-launch/">Redmi Smart Fire TV</a>, courtesy of Amazon FireOS 7.</p>

<p>Finally, the connectivity options on the television include dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, 3 x HDMI 2.1, 2 x USB, an optical port, AV input, a headphone out, and Ethernet.</p>

<h2><strong>Xiaomi Smart TV X Pro Series Price and Availability in India</strong></h2>

<p>Xiaomi has been selling smart televisions in India since 2018. The first three models in the country shipped with software based on AOSP.</p>

<p>Following that, the company began to use Android TV in the region. Just last month, it released its <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/03/14/redmi-smart-fire-tv-32-launch/">first Fire TV-based television</a> in India.</p>

<p>Now, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Xiaomi/">Xiaomi</a> is set to launch its first Google TV-powered television in India. Let’s check out the details shared by the brand so far.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="683" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Xiaomi-Smart-TV-X-Pro-Series-Launch-Date-1024x683.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Smart TV X Pro Series Launch Date" class="wp-image-529155" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Xiaomi-Smart-TV-X-Pro-Series-Launch-Date-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Xiaomi-Smart-TV-X-Pro-Series-Launch-Date-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Xiaomi-Smart-TV-X-Pro-Series-Launch-Date-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Xiaomi-Smart-TV-X-Pro-Series-Launch-Date-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Xiaomi-Smart-TV-X-Pro-Series-Launch-Date-2048x1365.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Xiaomi-Smart-TV-X-Pro-Series-Launch-Date-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Xiaomi-Smart-TV-X-Pro-Series-Launch-Date-1068x712.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Xiaomi-Smart-TV-X-Pro-Series-Launch-Date-1920x1280.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Xiaomi-Smart-TV-X-Pro-Series-Launch-Date-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>Xiaomi India will be holding its Smarter Living 2023 event on April 13. At this conference, the company has now <a href="https://twitter.com/XiaomiTVIndia/status/1645676919780962304">confirmed</a> to debut the Xiaomi Smart TV X Pro series.</p>

<p>This new television will boot <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Google-TV/">Google TV</a> OS. The company is promoting this upcoming TV as ‘Designed by Xiaomi. Powered by Google.’</p>

<p>As per the <a href="https://in.event.mi.com/in/xiaomi-smart-tv-x-pro-series-coming-soon">teaser page</a> on Mi.com, the device will come with a metal bezel-less design and a larger screen-to-body ratio. It will be equipped with a 4K panel with support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision IQ.</p>

<p>The television will house 40W speakers with support for Dolby Atmos and DTS: X. Finally, it will ship with a voice-control-enabled Bluetooth remote control.</p>

<p>Although the brand hasn’t revealed it yet, the TV will likely arrive in multiple sizes. Going by the last year’s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/08/30/xiaomi-smart-tv-x-series-launch-price-specs/">Xiaomi Smart TV X series</a>, the Pro version should be available in 43-inch, 50-inch, and 55-inch models.</p>

The report shows that a total estimate of 98.3 million<a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/smart-tv"> smart TVs</a> was shipped in the first half of the year 2021. This shows the market grew by 6.8% year on year.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/global-tv-shipment.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-404736" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/global-tv-shipment.jpg?x44794" alt="" width="600" height="337" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/global-tv-shipment.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/global-tv-shipment-300x169.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>The report also reveals an impressive shift by consumers towards OLED TVs as an estimated 2.7 million OLED TVs were shipped during this period representing a year-on-year increase of 133.3%. This is an impressive trend that is made possible as more Chinese display makers perfect their OLED production skills.</p>
<p>In terms of individual brands, Samsung ranked first with an estimated shipment of 20.8 million units, an increase of 11.9% Year-on-Year. This year makes it the 15th consecutive year <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/25/samsung-lead-global-tv-market-15th-consecutive-year/#">Samsung has led the global smart TV market</a>. The growth in revenue is mainly due to the growth in demand for IoT product category ranging from robot vacuum, smart TVs to electric scooters.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/redmi-smart-tv-a32-4.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-345252" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/redmi-smart-tv-a32-4.png?x44794" alt="" width="748" height="544" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/redmi-smart-tv-a32-4.png 748w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/redmi-smart-tv-a32-4-300x218.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/redmi-smart-tv-a32-4-324x235.png 324w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/redmi-smart-tv-a32-4-696x506.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/redmi-smart-tv-a32-4-578x420.png 578w" sizes="(max-width: 748px) 100vw, 748px" /></a></p>
<p>Xiaomi&#8217;s revenue from smart TVs and notebook computers rose from 5.8 billion yuan in the third quarter of 2019 to 5.9 billion yuan in the third quarter of 2020. This represents a YoY growth of 2.6%. Specifically, the report shows that Xiaomi shipped 3.1 million units of Mi TVs in the third quarter, the highest by any brand. Again, this places the brand at the top of the smart TV shipment ranking for the Chinese market, a feat it has achieved for seven consecutive quarters</p>
<p>Shipping estimates published by market research firm Avi Cloud (AVC) shows that apart from ranking first for seven straight quarters in China, Xiaomi&#8217;s smart TV shipments will continue to rank among the top five globally.</p>
<p>The growth recorded by the Chinese tech giant in the sector is driven by a consistent outflow of quality products and that continued in the third quarter of 2020. During this period, the tech giant released a host of IoT and consumer products which may have helped shore up the revenue. Xiaomi launched the 34-inch Mi Curved Display, MIJIA Internet Direct Drive Washing and Drying Machine 10kg, MIJIA Smart Steam Oven, Mi True Wireless Bluetooth headset Air 2 Pro and other products. Despite always sticking to the minimalist design pattern, the products are often of topnotch quality while retaining the affordable pricing which Xiaomi is reputed for. <p>Latest data from Avi Cloud (AVC) puts the cumulative sales volume of the entire colour TV market in China at 9.963 million units in the first quarter of 2020. The firm disclosed that Xiaomi shipped an estimated 1.836 million units in China, which is 18.4% of the Chinese market. Although Xiaomi did not reveal how many units it shipped in China, it said a total of 2.7 million units were shipped worldwide. This means it shipped just about 864,000 units outside China in Q1.</p>
<p>The data shows how impressive Xiaomi performed in the smart TV market as its lead has now extended to five consecutive quarters. The company enjoyed an impressive run in 2019  and despite the COVID 19 pandemic, things are looking upbeat in all segment for the Chinese tech giant. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/xiaomi-tv.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-324135" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/xiaomi-tv.png?x44794" alt="" width="600" height="800" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/xiaomi-tv.png 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/xiaomi-tv-225x300.png 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/xiaomi-tv-315x420.png 315w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>

These include TVs from <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/xiaomi/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Xiaomi</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/tcl/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">TCL</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/samsung/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Samsung</a>, Vu and more. The market hit 15 million unit shipments in 2019, marking a year on year growth of 15 percent in 2018.</p>
<p>The Chinese tech giant, Xiaomi, led the smart TV market while Samsung took top spot in the overall TV segment. The former saw significant growth this year with a year on year rise of 40 percent. According to reports, the surge is accredited to budget smart TVs in the 32 inch category, that led the segment due to its 11,000 INR price segment (roughly 150 US Dollars).</p>
<p><figure id="attachment_122630" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-122630" style="width: 1274px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-122630 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/samsung_borderless_TV_official_image.png?x44794" alt="Samsung " width="1274" height="774" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/samsung_borderless_TV_official_image.png 1274w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/samsung_borderless_TV_official_image-300x182.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/samsung_borderless_TV_official_image-768x467.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/samsung_borderless_TV_official_image-1024x622.png 1024w" sizes="(max-width: 1274px) 100vw, 1274px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-122630" class="wp-caption-text">Samsung TV</figcaption></figure></p>
<p>A report under &#8220;TV Tracker Service&#8221; from <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/counterpoint/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Counterpoint</a>, a renowned analytics firm, revealed the aforementioned figures. Furthermore, a Senior Analyst even mentioned that, &#8220;affordability and value for money are the key growth drivers. The new crop of brands such as Xiaomi, TCL and others are tapping their existing relationships with e-commerce channels such as Flipkart, Amazon, etc to successfully distribute the TVs affordably with a direct-to-consumer model.&#8221;</p>
<h6 class="related"><strong>Editor&#8217;s Pick: <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/03/18/xiaomis-surge-chip-development-reportedly-abandoned-shifting-focus-to-low-power-bl-rf-chips/">Xiaomi’s Surge Chip development reportedly abandoned, shifting focus to Low Power BL &amp; RF chips</a></strong></h6>
<p>In other words, the Indian TV market saw growth due to certain key factors like affordability and price to value offerings. Additionally, major e-retailers like Amazon and Flipkart supplemented this growth through easier accessibility. Samsung saw a growth of 6 percent in 2019 (YoY), with most of its growth coming from its smart TV offerings which included the N5000, N7000, R5000 and R7000 lineup.</p>

<p>The South Korean tech giant was also successful in the 50,000 INR price and higher price segments, with a reported market share of 40 percent. Although its non-smart TV portfolio saw an overall decline. The company is still the market leader in the Indian subcontinent but emerging players are making a sizeable impact as well. Best examples of this are Xiaomi and TCL. Both brands have 4K Smart TV offerings around the 50,000 INR mark, which is uncommon in most cases. Even <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/oneplus/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">OnePlus</a>&#8216; smart TV is priced at 100,000 INR, although, it features a QLED 4K smart TV with a 50W Soundbar.</p>

However, the Chinese company has made tremendous progress. Recent data from research outfit IDC shows that Xiaomi&#8217;s smart TV controls a 39% share of the market in India. This data was amplified by Xiaomi TV&#8217;s official Weibo handle earlier today. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/xiaomi-tv.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-264321" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/xiaomi-tv.png?x44794" alt="Xiaomi TV" width="585" height="418" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/xiaomi-tv.png 585w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/xiaomi-tv-300x214.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/xiaomi-tv-100x70.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 585px) 100vw, 585px" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The chart shows the top 4 spots are occupied by Xiaomi in the first position followed by LG. The third and fourth spots are occupied by Sony and Samsung respectively. What is even more interesting is that Xiaomi&#8217;s market share is double what each of the other three OEMs achieved in India in Q1 2019. LG recorded a 15% market share while Sony recorded a 14% market share. Samsung had a 12% share of the market in Q1 2019.</p>
<p>Analysis of the data shows Xiaomi even sold almost the same number of units of smart TVs as the other three combined. We say so because if you add up the market share (in percentage) of the other three OEMs, it adds up to 41%, just 2% higher than Xiaomi&#8217;s market share. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/xiaomi-tv-2.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-264322" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/xiaomi-tv-2.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi TV" width="690" height="388" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/xiaomi-tv-2.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/xiaomi-tv-2-300x169.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></a></p>
<p>Fora company that launched its first smart TV for India, the  Mi LED TV 4 PRO 55” in February 2018, this is no mean feat. We can recall that on its first flash sales, the TV sold out in under 10 seconds even with its Rs. 39,999 (~$624) price tag. In subsequent months, Xiaomi launched cheaper models of its TVs – the Mi LED TV 4A 32” and the Mi LED TV 4A 43” which were priced at Rs. 13,999 (~$190) and Rs. 22,999 (~$313) respectively. The Chinese tech giant has also added the Mi LED TV 4C PRO 32” and Mi LED TV 4A PRO 49” to its inventory.</p>
<p><figure id="attachment_249256" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-249256" style="width: 690px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/afe09d9dly1g2ck5fp3ldj21o00u0qv6.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-249256" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/afe09d9dly1g2ck5fp3ldj21o00u0qv6.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Mural TV 01" width="690" height="345" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/afe09d9dly1g2ck5fp3ldj21o00u0qv6.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/afe09d9dly1g2ck5fp3ldj21o00u0qv6-300x150.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-249256" class="wp-caption-text">Xiaomi&#8217;s Mural TV</figcaption></figure></p>
<p>As a result of the premium quality and cheap pricing of Xiaomi&#8217;s TVs, by Q2 2018, the company had already emerged as the market leader in the smart TV category. Xiaomi’s TVs are not just cheaper than that of the competition in India, they are also customized for the market. Owners can connect their set-top boxes to the TV and view the content alongside online content instead of switching from one to the other. The bundled remote with the TV also works with the connected set-top box. The company also <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/10/06/xiaomi-opens-mi-tv-factory-in-india-to-increase-supply/">opened a new TV factory in India</a> late last year in order to increase supply.</p>

<p>The Mi TV 4A was <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/03/21/xiaomi-mi-tv-4a-series-official-high-end-features-affordable-price-starting-2099-yuan-304/">first announced</a> last year and consists of six models, which includes 32-inch, 43-inch, 49-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch. Recently, Xiaomi revealed that a data from AVC has shown that the company’s domestic TV shipments exceeded 550,000 units in March 2018 alone.</p>

<p>Now, it looks like the company is all set to announce a new Xiaomi TV tomorrow as Lei Jun, the founder and CEO of Xiaomi revealed a new teaser earlier today. He said in a post that Xiaomi will announce something new about its TV range at 11:00 AM on March 19, i.e. tomorrow. He even tagged Wang Chuan in the post, who is the director of Xiaomi smart TV business.</p>
<p>He became the eight core team member of Xiaomi after it acquired Duokan, a company which made apps for e-readers and Apple TV. Apart from the apps, Duokan is also an alternative OS for Amazon&#8217;s Kindle devices which brought in a lot of new features to the device. Its CEO, Mr. Chuan has years worth of experience in business, since he entered the entrepreneurship world just two years after graduating.</p>
<p>The company already has its own Xiaomi TV lineup in the market, but its far from perfect. Mr. Chuan had earlier said that the company aimed to make the OS more user friendly so that people from all ages could operate it, from a four year old to an eighty year old.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, neither Lei Jun nor Chuan has revealed any further details about tomorrow&#8217;s announcement, but since we are less than 24 hours away, we just have to wait and watch what the company has in store for us.</p>
