Xiaomi has launched the Watch S4 41 mm in markets outside China, following its release in June 2025. In the EU, it is priced at €159.99, while the Milanese Strap version costs €219.99.

The Watch S4 41 mm has a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and peak brightness of 1,500 nits. It has a compact build but includes several health and fitness features.

The smartwatch uses a redesigned heart rate module that provides more accurate readings, especially during workouts. It also offers sleep tracking and a 21-day sleep optimization program to help users build better sleep habits.

For outdoor activities, the watch includes a dual-band GNSS module for precise GPS tracking. It supports more than 150 sports modes, such as swimming and skiing. Skin temperature tracking is also available, which supports enhanced female cycle prediction.

The device works with platforms like Suunto and Health Connect, giving users access to detailed fitness and health data. The Watch S4 41 mm runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 instead of Google’s Wear OS.

Battery life is rated at up to 8 days with light use. Other features include customizable widgets, a rotating crown for easier navigation, a vlog mode that allows remote camera control on a paired smartphone, and an SOS button for emergencies.

Now, it appears that the company could be launching this compact premium tablet globally on September 24. While no official details have been confirmed, we can make some speculation based on the Redmi K Pad.

So the Xiaomi Pad Mini will likely feature the Dimensity 9400+ SoC and a 7,500mAh battery pack that supports 67W wired fast charging. Xiaomi looks set to shrink its latest smartwatch for the global market. According to a leak from Roland Quandt, the Watch S4 41mm—a smaller companion to the 47mm version already sold in China—is tipped to debut on September 24, the same day Xiaomi unveils its new 15T and 15T Pro smartphones.

The Watch S4 series was first shown at MWC 2025 with the larger 47mm model. A few months later, Xiaomi added the 41mm edition in China, offering a more compact design for those who find the original too bulky. While the Chinese version recently received a refresh with the Xring T1 chipset, it’s not yet clear if that update will carry over to international models.

Xiaomi has launched the Watch S4 (41mm) at its Human-Car-Home Ecosystem conference. The watch weighs 32 grams and is 9.5mm thick. It has a 1.32-inch AMOLED screen with a 60Hz refresh rate and up to 1500 nits of brightness. It runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 2 and supports deep integration with other Xiaomi devices.

The Watch S4 comes in four color options: white, mint green, black, and quicksand gold. The gold variant features a Milanese strap and a crown set with six cultured diamonds. Users can choose from three strap types: fluororubber, leather, and Milanese.

It includes a 320mAh battery that offers up to 8 days of usage under normal conditions, 4 days with heavy use, and 3 days with Always-On Display enabled. The watch supports over 150 sports modes and includes health tracking features like heart rate, sleep, blood oxygen, and high-precision temperature monitoring. Bluetooth heart rate broadcasting is supported for syncing real-time data with cycling and fitness equipment. GPS, SOS, and water resistance are also included.

The base model with a fluororubber strap is priced at 999 yuan. The leather strap version costs 1199 yuan, while the Milanese strap model is priced at 1499 yuan.`

In other news, Xiaomi has also recently launched the Open Earphones Pro, its latest open-ear wireless headphones focused on comfort, audio quality, and smart features. According to these early listings, the black and silver versions of the Watch S4 are expected to have a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of €159.99 in most Eurozone markets. The ‘Rainbow’ variant is listed at a slightly higher price of €169.99.

The Xiaomi Watch S4 was introduced in China in October 2024 alongside the Pad 7 Pro, Smart Band 9 Pro, Xiaomi 15, and Xiaomi 15 Pro. It is now expected to make its global debut at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona next week. According to rumors, Xiaomi might launch the Watch S4 alongside the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra. And while it’s not confirmed yet, it’s likely the launch event will be scheduled in March, coinciding with MWC 2025.

For health-conscious users, the Watch S4 offers heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring with a claimed accuracy of 98.2%. It uses Goodix Technology’s health sensor for accurate, real-time tracking of heart rate and blood oxygen levels.

The company is also touting improved sleep-tracking capabilities compared to previous iterations of their smartwatches.  

Fitness enthusiasts will have access to over 150 sports modes, including a dedicated running mode that provides feedback on posture during workouts.  

The watch itself boasts a round 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1,500 nits — 300 nits brighter than the new Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro. Battery life sits at an estimated 15 days on normal usage, dropping to 5 days with the always-on display enabled. 

As usual, eSIM support is optional in Watch S4 while contactless payments are enabled by an NFC chip, while GPS supports navigation and fitness tracking.

Pricing and Availability

The Xiaomi Watch S4 launches in China at a competitive price point of 999 yuan (approximately €129). The LTE variant with an eSIM module comes in slightly higher at 1,199 yuan (approximately €155). Currently, Xiaomi has not provided any details regarding an international launch for the Watch S4.

Unfortunately, there are no details about the specifications of the Watch S4; however, we expect it to share some similarities with the Xiaomi Watch S4 Sport. The Watch S4 Sport has a 1.43-inch OLED display that boasts a peak brightness of 2,200 nits for excellent outdoor visibility, and the watch is powered by a 586mAh battery, promising a battery life of 15 days.

It includes a heart rate and blood oxygen sensor on the back, protected by sapphire glass, and claims an accuracy of 97.2%. With EN13319 diving certification, the watch can be used for diving up to 40 meters (130 feet) and offers offline map capabilities via eSIM, allowing users to leave their phones behind. Additionally, NFC support enables it to function as a car key.
