<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/xreal">Xreal</a> has finally taken the wraps off Aura, its first Android XR-powered smart glasses. After months of teasers under the Project Aura name, the company has revealed key hardware and software details at AWE 2026. However, one major piece of information is still missing, which could influence how the product is received when it launches later this year.</p>

<h3><strong>Xreal</strong> <strong>Aura specifications and features</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="528" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Xreal-Aura-glasses-1024x528.png?x44794" alt="Xreal Aura glasses" class="wp-image-742180" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Xreal-Aura-glasses-1024x528.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Xreal-Aura-glasses-300x155.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Xreal-Aura-glasses-768x396.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Xreal-Aura-glasses-1536x792.png 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Xreal-Aura-glasses-696x359.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Xreal-Aura-glasses-1068x551.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Xreal-Aura-glasses-814x420.png 814w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Xreal-Aura-glasses.png 1632w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Xreal Aura glasses</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Aura is built around Google&#8217;s Android XR platform with Gemini integration and is powered by Qualcomm&#8217;s newly announced Snapdragon Reality Elite chipset. The glasses also feature Xreal&#8217;s X1S coprocessor, which is responsible for handling spatial computing tasks and rendering content on the optical see-through display system.</p>

<p>The glasses offer a 70-degree field of view and use Sony Micro-OLED panels with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels per eye and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Electrochromic dimming is included, allowing users to darken the lenses when focusing on digital content. Hand tracking serves as a primary interaction method, supported by front-facing cameras that enable six degrees of freedom tracking and gesture controls.</p>

<p>Unlike fully standalone AR glasses, Aura relies on an external compute puck that houses the Snapdragon Reality Elite processor and a 4,455mAh battery. The puck will be offered in configurations with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. Xreal is also preparing a broad ecosystem of games, productivity tools and immersive experiences, including titles such as Fallout: Factions, Demeo and Cubism.</p>

<h3><strong>Xreal Aura: Availability and what remains unknown</strong></h3>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="657" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Xreal-Aura-glasses--1024x657.jpg?x44794" alt="Xreal Aura glasses" class="wp-image-742179" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Xreal-Aura-glasses--1024x657.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Xreal-Aura-glasses--300x193.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Xreal-Aura-glasses--768x493.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Xreal-Aura-glasses--696x447.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Xreal-Aura-glasses--1068x685.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Xreal-Aura-glasses--655x420.jpg 655w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Xreal-Aura-glasses-.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Xreal Aura glasses</figcaption></figure>

<p>Xreal has opened reservations for Aura in the United States, the United Kingdom and Japan. Interested buyers can place a $99 reservation to receive credits toward the final purchase, while a limited Founder Priority Pass is available for $299.</p>

<p>While Xreal has confirmed that the base model will cost less than $1,500, the company has not announced the final retail price or a specific launch date. Aura is expected to reach markets including the US, Canada, Japan, South Korea and the UK later this year, with additional European availability planned afterwards.</p>

<p>Xreal has introduced a new sub-brand called X By Xreal (xbx), starting with two new pairs of augmented reality glasses: the xbx a01 and xbx a01+. The new models focus on reducing weight and lowering the entry price for wearable displays.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="949" height="633" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/XREAL-xbx-a01-AR-glasses.png?x44794" alt="XREAL xbx a01 AR glasses" class="wp-image-739936" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/XREAL-xbx-a01-AR-glasses.png 949w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/XREAL-xbx-a01-AR-glasses-300x200.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/XREAL-xbx-a01-AR-glasses-768x512.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/XREAL-xbx-a01-AR-glasses-696x464.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/XREAL-xbx-a01-AR-glasses-630x420.png 630w" sizes="(max-width: 949px) 100vw, 949px" /></figure></div>

<h2>Xreal xbx a01 Specifications</h2>

<p>The glasses use a semi-transparent nylon frame that shows some of the internal components, but Xreal&#8217;s main focus with this design is physical comfort and customization. The standard xbx a01 weighs 62 grams, and you can remove the front frame entirely to bring that down to 56 grams. That front frame is also interchangeable, with Xreal offering optional styles like classic, sports, and black mirror.</p>

<p>If you want a more personalized look, the company is even providing the 3D printing parameters so you can design and print your own custom frames. Xreal says this lighter build cuts pressure on the nose by about 30%. The temples are also 10% thinner and more flexible, which is meant to make them more comfortable if you wear them while leaning back or lying down to watch a movie.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="571" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/XREAL-xbx-a01-AR-glasses-4-1024x571.png?x44794" alt="XREAL xbx a01 AR glasses" class="wp-image-739937" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/XREAL-xbx-a01-AR-glasses-4-1024x571.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/XREAL-xbx-a01-AR-glasses-4-300x167.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/XREAL-xbx-a01-AR-glasses-4-768x428.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/XREAL-xbx-a01-AR-glasses-4-696x388.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/XREAL-xbx-a01-AR-glasses-4-1068x596.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/XREAL-xbx-a01-AR-glasses-4-753x420.png 753w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/XREAL-xbx-a01-AR-glasses-4.png 1074w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>For the displays, the glasses use dual Micro OLED screens with a 50-degree field of view. According to Xreal, this looks like a 147-inch screen viewed from four meters away. The screens reach up to 1,600 nits of peak brightness and support a 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color, and HDR10.</p>

<p>It features a built-in chip that handles real-time SDR-to-HDR conversion to adjust contrast and color for standard video. To help with eye strain during longer sessions, the displays use 3840Hz PWM dimming and have hardware-level blue light reduction.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="570" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/XREAL-xbx-a01-AR-glasses-5-1024x570.png?x44794" alt="XREAL xbx a01 AR glasses" class="wp-image-739938" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/XREAL-xbx-a01-AR-glasses-5-1024x570.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/XREAL-xbx-a01-AR-glasses-5-300x167.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/XREAL-xbx-a01-AR-glasses-5-768x427.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/XREAL-xbx-a01-AR-glasses-5-696x387.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/XREAL-xbx-a01-AR-glasses-5-1068x594.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/XREAL-xbx-a01-AR-glasses-5-755x420.png 755w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/XREAL-xbx-a01-AR-glasses-5.png 1073w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>The built-in stereo speakers include a few basic audio profiles, like a cinema mode and a whisper mode designed to reduce sound leakage if you are in a quiet room. For travel, the glasses use a stabilization algorithm that tracks posture 1,000 times per second to keep the virtual screen steady when you&#8217;re in a moving car, train, or plane.</p>

<p>The xbx a01 connects via USB-C to devices that support DisplayPort output, such as phones, laptops, and handheld gaming consoles. If you pair them with Xreal’s Beam Pro accessory, you get access to 3DoF tracking and floating screens through the company&#8217;s nebulaOS 2 interface.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="855" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/XREAL-xbx-a01-AR-glasses-1.png?x44794" alt="XREAL xbx a01 AR glasses" class="wp-image-739939" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/XREAL-xbx-a01-AR-glasses-1.png 855w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/XREAL-xbx-a01-AR-glasses-1-300x211.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/XREAL-xbx-a01-AR-glasses-1-768x539.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/XREAL-xbx-a01-AR-glasses-1-696x488.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/XREAL-xbx-a01-AR-glasses-1-599x420.png 599w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/XREAL-xbx-a01-AR-glasses-1-100x70.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 855px) 100vw, 855px" /></figure></div>

<h2>Pricing and Availability</h2>

<p>The standard model costs 1,699 yuan ($250). The xbx a01+ costs 1,799 yuan ($265), and the extra cost adds a physical light-blocking cover and an exclusive surround sound audio mode. Xreal is also expected to bring the lineup to the US in July, with prices starting at $299.</p>

<h3><strong>Xreal 1S Specifications</strong></h3>

<p>The Xreal 1S serves as a refreshed model in the One Series lineup, replacing the original Xreal One glasses from 2024. It features a Full HD 1200p display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and delivers peak brightness of up to 700 nits. The glasses provide a 52-degree field of view and support a 120Hz refresh rate.</p>

<p>Xreal has equipped the 1S with Sound by Bose audio, tuned by Bose engineers. The glasses weigh 82 grams, feature electrochromic dimming that adapts to ambient lighting, and carry TUV Rheinland eye comfort certification.</p>

<p>The Xreal 1S is powered by the Xreal X1 chip and supports native 3DoF tracking, enabling users to anchor virtual screens and expand to wider aspect ratios like 21:9 and 32:9. It supports screen sizes up to 500 inches. The USB-C port is reinforced for travel, and the glasses ship with a new protective case. The device is compatible with the Xreal Eye module, which adds 6DoF spatial anchoring and camera-based features.</p>

<p>Xreal has priced the 1S at $449 in the US.</p>

<h3><strong>Xreal Neo Specifications</strong></h3>

<p>Xreal Neo is a portable power hub that acts as both a 10,000mAh power bank and a DisplayPort Alt Mode video adapter. It allows Xreal AR glasses to connect directly to devices like the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 without using a dock. It also supports up to 1200p at 120Hz output when used with devices like the Steam Deck.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Xreal-Neo-1024x576.jpg?x44794" alt="Xreal Neo" class="wp-image-722244" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Xreal-Neo-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Xreal-Neo-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Xreal-Neo-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Xreal-Neo-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Xreal-Neo-2048x1152.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Xreal-Neo-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Xreal-Neo-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Xreal-Neo-1920x1080.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Xreal-Neo-747x420.jpg 747w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>The Neo includes a built-in USB-C cable, magnetic connector, and a fold-out metal kickstand. It supports 30W input and 20W output when running on battery. When connected to a wall adapter of 65W or higher, it supports output up to 45W for fast charging of handheld consoles and phones.</p>

<p>Xreal Neo is priced at $99 for early buyers between January 4 and February 4. After the launch window, it will retail for $119. Xreal plans to start shipping the Neo in February 2026.</p>

<p>Both products are now available through Xreal.com, Amazon, and BestBuy.com.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/xreal/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">XREAL</a> is wrapping up 2025 with the launch of a new entry-level AR glasses model, the XREAL 1S. It sits below the more expensive XREAL One Pro (announced in July) in the lineup and is the first in the category to offer automatic 2D-to-3D conversion.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/XREAL-1S-AR-Glasses-launched.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-717427" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/XREAL-1S-AR-Glasses-launched.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/XREAL-1S-AR-Glasses-launched-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/XREAL-1S-AR-Glasses-launched-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/XREAL-1S-AR-Glasses-launched-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/XREAL-1S-AR-Glasses-launched-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>The glasses weigh 82 grams and use a pair of Sony-made 0.68-inch OLED microdisplays with a resolution of 1920×1200 per eye and up to a 120Hz refresh rate. </p>

<p>When you switch to the new 2D-to-3D mode, that rate drops to 30Hz, but the glasses still aim for a stable viewing experience with a 52-degree field of view, 700 nits of brightness, and color accuracy rated at ΔE &lt; 3.</p>

<p>A lot of this is driven by XREAL’s in-house X1 spatial computing chip. The company says it can keep latency as low as 3ms, which is important because the 1S supports 3DoF head tracking. That means the virtual screen stays anchored in space even if you move your head around. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="369" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/XREAL-1S-Chipset-and-Features.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-717428" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/XREAL-1S-Chipset-and-Features.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/XREAL-1S-Chipset-and-Features-300x123.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/XREAL-1S-Chipset-and-Features-768x315.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/XREAL-1S-Chipset-and-Features-696x285.jpg 696w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>XREAL’s product manager, Takao Takayama, also mentioned that the 3D conversion feature will come to the existing XREAL One and One Pro via an update around the 1S launch window.</p>

<p>There are a few more quality-of-life touches built in. Audio is tuned by Bose, and the glasses include four array microphones. Light transmittance can shift automatically between 0%, 35%, and 100%, depending on how much isolation you want. The 1S ships in a single color called Silent Blue.</p>

<h2><strong>XREAL Neo</strong></h2>

<p>Alongside the glasses, XREAL also introduced a new accessory called the XREAL Neo, a mobile battery pack built with AR users in mind. It costs 14,580 yen and launches in late January. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="562" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/XREAL-Neo-launch.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-717429" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/XREAL-Neo-launch.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/XREAL-Neo-launch-300x187.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/XREAL-Neo-launch-768x480.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/XREAL-Neo-launch-696x435.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/XREAL-Neo-launch-673x420.jpg 673w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>The Neo carries a 10,000mAh battery, two USB-C ports, and can pass video to AR glasses while charging a phone. Interestingly, it can also double as a dock for the Nintendo Switch, including the newer Switch 2.</p>

<p>If you want everything together, XREAL is offering a bundle containing the 1S and the Neo for 76,560 yen, which is about 6,000 yen cheaper than buying both separately. Early buyers also get the XREAL Hub as a pre-order bonus.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/xreal/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Xreal</a>, known for its AR glasses, has unveiled its latest offering, the Air 2 Ultra, at CES 2024. This comes ahead of the much-anticipated launch of <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/01/08/apple-vision-pro-pre-orders-begin-january-19-with-sales-commencing-february-2/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Apple&#8217;s Vision Pro</a>, making it clear that Xreal is vying for a slice of the high-end AR market.</p>

<p>The Air 2 Ultra utilizes two 3D sensors with advanced computer vision, allowing users to interact with real-world objects and manipulate them in a digital space. This opens doors for creative applications like 3D object manipulation, virtual furniture placement, and immersive gaming experiences.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="536" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/XReal-Air-2-Ultra-1024x536.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-596783" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/XReal-Air-2-Ultra-1024x536.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/XReal-Air-2-Ultra-300x157.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/XReal-Air-2-Ultra-768x402.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/XReal-Air-2-Ultra-696x364.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/XReal-Air-2-Ultra-1068x559.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/XReal-Air-2-Ultra-803x420.jpg 803w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/XReal-Air-2-Ultra.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Design-wise, the Air 2 Ultra resembles stylish sunglasses, making them comfortable for extended wear. Weighing just 80 grams, they boast adjustable temples and three nose pad sizes for a snug fit.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Notably, these are the first titanium AR glasses, equipped with Sony&#8217;s Micro OLED panels. Each eye enjoys a Full HD display with a 52-degree field of view and 42 pixels per degree – surpassing the Apple Vision Pro in sharpness. Xreal claims you can project a virtual 154-inch screen onto your surroundings.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="536" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Xreal-Air-2-Ultra-design-1024x536.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-596785" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Xreal-Air-2-Ultra-design-1024x536.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Xreal-Air-2-Ultra-design-300x157.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Xreal-Air-2-Ultra-design-768x402.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Xreal-Air-2-Ultra-design-696x364.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Xreal-Air-2-Ultra-design-1068x559.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Xreal-Air-2-Ultra-design-803x420.jpg 803w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Xreal-Air-2-Ultra-design.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>The display also has a refresh rate of 120Hz and brightness comes at 500 nits, so you can use it outdoors too. There are also features like auto-dimming lenses for immersion, directional audio for privacy, and voice interaction.</p>

<p>However, do note that, unlike standalone headsets, the Air 2 Ultra requires external processing power from a smartphone, computer, or Xreal&#8217;s Beam module. Sure, this makes it lighter and potentially more affordable, with a price tag of $699 compared to Apple&#8217;s rumored $3,499 Vision Pro. But it also means relying on compatible devices for processing power.</p>

<p>Xreal says Air 2 Ultra is currently mainly intended for developers, as there won&#8217;t be much AR content at launch and the SDK will receive significant upgrades in the coming months.</p>

<h2>XREAL Air 2 Key Features:</h2>

<p>The XREAL Air 2 comes with an improved <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/display/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">display</a>, ergonomics, and audio, although preserving its original design. The device uses Sony&#8217;s 0.55-inch Micro-OLED microdisplay with 4032ppi pixel density, a 21% rise from the earlier version. The optical engine, Jinghong Ruiying 3.0, ensures improved color accuracy across different brightness levels. The glasses have received TÜV Rheinland certifications for color accuracy, eye comfort, low blue light, and no flicker.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="750" height="860" data-id="564666" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/XREAL-Air-2-.jpeg?x44794" alt="XREAL Air 2" class="wp-image-564666" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/XREAL-Air-2-.jpeg 750w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/XREAL-Air-2--262x300.jpeg 262w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/XREAL-Air-2--696x798.jpeg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/XREAL-Air-2--366x420.jpeg 366w" sizes="(max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px" /></figure>
</figure>

<p>Visually, the Air 2 now offers a red variant and seven different stickers for personalization. It has also been ergonomically optimized, using materials like magnesium alloy to make it lighter by 10% at 72g. More weight has been moved to the temple for balanced pressure distribution, and it now features a &#8220;zero-pressure air cushion nose pad&#8221;. In audio, it showcases the X-Spatial Sound 2.0, which provides better mid-low-frequency sounds. It also incorporates features to prevent sound leakage, ensuring privacy.</p>

<h2>XREAL Air 2 Pro Key Features:</h2>

<p>The XREAL Air 2 Pro&#8217;s unique feature is its electrochromic lenses. These lenses can be adjusted for various light levels, making them suitable for home, travel, and outdoor scenarios. This model, according to XREAL, is the first <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/augmented-reality/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">augmented reality</a> glasses to be mass-produced using electrochromic technology.</p>

<p>On the software side, the XREAL Beam, introduced in June, is now in its testing phase. This will come pre-loaded with apps from Bilibili and iQiyi, eliminating the need for separate TV subscriptions. The Beam acts as an &#8220;air mouse&#8221; for interaction, letting users point and control apps.</p>

<h2>Pricing and Availability</h2>
