Yadea revealed the UFO S e-bike during the world’s largest bike show, the China International Bike Fair (China Cycle 2024). The Yadea UFO S e-bike was prominently displayed at the Yadea booth during the China Cycle 2024 event. Yadea is the global market leader in the e-scooter and e-bike segment. It is the major manufacturer of electric two-wheelers and has a growing portfolio of models. The UFO S e-bike is a small-format and versatile folding e-bike. It comes as a major redesign of the Yadea UFO.

Features

The new Yadea UFO S is a successor to the Yadea UFO mini-folding electric bike but with some design and spec changes. The UFO S e-bike rides on small 14 x 2.125-inch tires. It is a great option for urban commuters who require a compact, folding e-bike that can be easily tucked in the bus or train, and quickly deployed for a pedal-friendly ride. The UFO S is equipped with a rear hub motor that delivers a maximum output of 420W and a nominal 250W output.

The Yadea UFO S is capable of climbing inclines up to 17%. The bike has a top speed of 25 km/h and this is within the allowable limit for several European and Asian markets. Even though the e-bike is not as fast as several Yadea offerings, it can still move swiftly past vehicular traffic gridlock while on the bike lane.

Pricing & Availability

The Yadea UFO S will launch first in China this summer and thereafter debut in overseas markets. The Yadea UFO S will likely be priced under 2,500 yuan ($346). More optics about the versatile Yadea UFO S folding e-bike will be provided before its official launch.
