Yeelight, a company which is a part of Xiaomi eco-chain, has today launched a new product in China — Yeelight Smart LED Bulb. Although it is a smart LED bulb, the design of the product resembles the tradition bulb and is priced at 129 Yuan, which roughly is $18.

As mentioned, the smart bulb comes with a design that resembles to the traditional filament bulb. The company mentions that it is offering a fusion of traditional glass bulb design and the modern technology of LED light.

The Yeelight Smart LED Bulb comes with features like adjustable brightness and smart controls and has technology for offering high efficiency and saving energy. Thanks to the high-efficiency filament chip, the luminous efficiency can reach 1171m/w, claims the company.

It is said to be higher in brightness and saves more energy compared to other LED bulbs. Further, Xiaomi says that the bulb has a color temperature of 2700K and offers brightness of up to 700lm at 6W, which can be easily adjusted depending on the users’ need.

It also comes with several options for controlling as the Yeelight Smart Bulb supports Apple Homekit and Xiaomi’s Voice Remote Control. So, the company is offering every possible way to control it remotely.

The product has built-in Xiaomi Smart Home Wi-Fi module which can be directly connected to the home wi-fi network so that it can be easily controlled using a smartphone. As it can be remotely controlled, you don’t have to be in wi-fi range all the time to see if its switched off or to control it.
