Xiaomi‘s ecological chain company Yeelight lives up to its name with several assortments of smart lamps and bulbs on its catalogue. The company has just launched a new one; Yeelight Star Smart Floor Lamp and it comes with several innovative features like a new touch interaction, MIJIA app and Apple HomeKit support. The lamp comes with a modest price of 699 yuan ($97).

The Yeelight Star Smart Floor Lamp features a dual light source design with a 120° curved wall on the back. The light is scattered twice to form a uniform 120% arc angle. It utilises a professional-grade PC diffuser making the light-emitting surface to be even and soft. The lamp has a maximum brightness of 900 lumens which is bright enough to read at night. The lamp bar can be adjusted to any desired level as it is flexible.

The smart lamp comes with support for Apple Homekit and MIJIA app and can be controlled via voice prompt using Siri or XiaoAI voice assistant. The lamp also has three control buttons at the back. The first button is the main control button in which a short press switches on or off the lamp, long press is used to change the light mode. The second and third buttons are used to adjust the brightness level.
