Asus has just announced a number of new laptop models from its popular Zenbook and Vivobook series. These notebooks arrive with some notable specs and features, so lets have a look at the new laptops.

Asus Zenbook S 13 OLED

Talking about the Zenbook S 13 OLED model first, the company is promoting the new notebook as the world’s thinnest OLED laptop. In other words, this OLED laptop is the world’s most compact and portable, weighing just 1 kilograms and measuring 1 cm in thickness. There models also features a premium metallic design, with corrosion protection, low impact methods for sourcing its aluminum chassis.

Under the hood, the Zenbook S 13 OLED is powered by an Intel 13th Gen Core i7 processor that is paired with up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD. Zenbook 14 Flip OLED

The Asus Zenbook 14 Flip OLED model differs from the S 13 model in many ways. It sports a taller 14 inch Lumina OLED display. Although, the most highlighting difference is the inclusion of the 360 degree hinge. The laptop is built using aluminum body and features a convertible design, which means that it offers touchscreen support from its 2.8K resolution. Under the hood, the new laptop is equipped with 13th Gen Intel Core i7 and i5 CPU with Iris Xe graphics, 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and PCIe Gen 4 SSD.

The Vivobook S 15 OLED is another new thin and light notebook from Asus that weighs around 1.7 kilograms, which is great for a laptop that sports a 15.6 inch display.The laptop feature military grade aluminum body and even offers a physical fingerprint scanner. It arrives in three color options as well as three 13th Gen Intel CPUs ranging from and i5 to and i9. This processor is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD.

Under the hood, it features a 13th Gen Intel Core i5 along with up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM and 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. It is powered by a 50Whr battery pack that supports 65W fast charging.

Similar to the aforementioned models, this thin and light model also comes with an aluminum body, weighs 1.6 kilograms, and measures around 17.9mm in thickness. Other notable features include, WiFi 6E, fingerprint scanner, 720p HD camera, Windows 11, 3.5mm headphone jack, HDMI, and more.

Vivobook 15 OLED

Similar to the other models, the new Vivobook 15 OLED is a thin and light laptop as well. It is built using ASUS Antimicrobial Guard Plus protection and military grade chassis that has a US MIL-STD 810H durability with EPEAT Silver certification. This model is equipped with an Intel Core i5 13500H CPU along with up to 24GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB PCIe Gen 3 SSD storage.

The Asus Vivobook 15 OLED sports a tall 15.6 inch Lumina OLED display with FHD resolution and 600 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by a 50Whr battery pack that supports 65W fast charging support. Vivobook 16

The new Vivobook 16 is the only 16 inch laptop model that was announced in the Indian market. The display offers Full HD+ resolution along with a 16:10 aspect ratio, and 300 nits of peak brightness. This model is also built with military grade build with a MIL-STD 810H certification. Although, it still measures just 19.9mm in thickness and weighs around 1.8 kilograms. This makes it a thin and light despite its tall display size.

Asus Unveils Zenbook 14 Flip OLED and Zenbook Pro 14 OLED at CES 2023

ASUS has previously announced its Zenbook 14X OLED and Zenbook Pro 16X OLED at the CES 2023 event. Alongside that, the brand has also launched the Zenbook 14 Flip OLED and Zenbook Pro 14 OLED. Both laptops boast some interesting set of specifications and features. The 14 Flip OLED has also got a hinge that is as much 360-degree rotatable. It is probably the most powerful 14-inch laptop coming from the house ASUS.

A 14-inch OLED display with a 2.8K resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, TÜV certification, and a 100% DCI-P3 gamut is included on the ASUS Zenbook 14 Flip OLED. It supports an optional ASUS Pen 2.0 MPP 2.0 stylus, which users may use to take notes, draw pictures, and more because of the laptop’s 360° any-position hinge. It weighs only 1.5 kg. ASUS on Monday announced the all-new ASUS ZenBook 14 Flip OLED in the Indian market. It is a 2-in-1 convertible notebook that comes with a 90Hz OLED display and packs AMD’s Ryzen 5000 series processor.

ASUS ZenBook 14 Flip OLED Specifications

The ASUS ZenBook 14 Flip comes in a thin and light form factor. It sports a 14-inch OLED panel with 2.8k resolution and HDR support. It is a touch-screen display, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and a 90Hz refresh rate. It is said to be the world’s slimmest 14-inch convertible laptop with an OLED screen.

What’s under, is the AMD Ryzen 5000 series processor. The laptop comes in three models — Ryyzen 5 5600H, Ryzen 7 5800H, and Ryzen 9 5900HX. All chips are 8-core CPUs with 16 threads.
