There was no mention of a release date or pricing details at the launch but today we have got news about the former.

The ZTE Blade V8 will be launched in China, Germany, and Spain in March but if you are in Japan or Russia, you will be able to get your hands on the phone earlier than that as it will launch in both countries in February.

The ZTE Blade V8 has a 5.2-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 435 SoC, a 13MP shooter in front, and a 13MP+2MP dual camera combo that are spaced so far apart that many of us will agree is the farthest distance between two sensors. The LED flash sits in between both sensors, not directly in the middle but a little to the left. Asides taking pictures with bokeh effect, the cameras on the Blade V8 can also be used to take 3D images

The Blade V8 will be available in two storage variants: a 2GB + 16GB model and a 3GB+32GB version. There is however a SD card slot which takes up to 256GB cards. Both will have a 2730mAh battery and a fingerprint scanner mounted in front. The phone will also ship with ZTE’s Mi Favor 4.0 which is based on Android 7.0 Nougat.

There is still no price yet but we expect it to be lesser than the V8 Pro which has a 5.5-inch FHD display, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, dual 13MP rear cameras, an 8MP front camera and a 3140mAh battery and is priced at $238.45 on Amazon.

The company has a new phone in the works and it is expected to be unveiled at the Consumer Electronic show which is starting next week.

The new phone called the ZTE Blade V8 is expected to be the line’s first dual-camera midranger, competing with the likes of Xiaomi’s Redmi Pro and LeEco’s Cool1 Dual.

The ZTE Blade V8 pictured above will have a 5.2” 1080p display just like you have on the Blade V7, a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 435 processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The dual rear cameras will be a combination of a 12MP sensor and a 2MP shooter. Sources say both sensors will work together to allow you take pictures with bokeh effects and even shoot stereoscopic 3D pictures that can be viewed with a VR glasses. The dual sensors of the Blade V8 will also allow you take quick pictures of fast moving objects without the need for focusing.
