<p>ZTE and Y! Mobile have launched a new smartphone in Japan. The device is officially called ZTE Libero 5G III. It is the successor of <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/11/15/zte-libero-5g-ii-announced-a-budget-phone-with-ipx7-water-resistance/">ZTE Libero 5G II</a>, which went official last November.</p>



<p>The phone is designed exclusively for the Japanese market, just like most handsets released there. Unfortunately, neither the manufacturer nor the career has revealed the price.</p>



<p>But they have disclosed all the features of the smartphone and its sale date (December 15). Let’s take a look at everything it has to offer.</p>

<h2><strong>ZTE Libero 5G 3 Specifications</strong></h2>



<p>The <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/ZTE/">ZTE</a> Libero 5G III (aka ZTE Libero 5G 3) features a flat frame design. It measures 9.1mm in thickness and weighs 207g. The IP57-rated device for dust and water resistance comes in purple, white, and black color options.</p>



<p>The handset sports a 6.67-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), a centered punch-hole, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.</p>



<p>The phone houses a triple camera system on the rear comprising a 13MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro snapper, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it has an 8MP shooter.</p>



<p>The connectivity options on the smartphone include 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, GNSS, NFC, and USB Type-C. On the software front, it boots <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Android-12/">Android 12</a> and features a MicroSD card slot.</p>



<p>Last but not least, the device gets its juice from a 4,120mAh battery and comes with support for USB PD PPS charging.</p>
