ZTE and Y! Mobile have launched a new smartphone in Japan. The device is officially called ZTE Libero 5G III. It is the successor of ZTE Libero 5G II, which went official last November.

The phone is designed exclusively for the Japanese market, just like most handsets released there. Unfortunately, neither the manufacturer nor the career has revealed the price.

But they have disclosed all the features of the smartphone and its sale date (December 15). Let’s take a look at everything it has to offer.

ZTE Libero 5G 3 Specifications

The ZTE Libero 5G III (aka ZTE Libero 5G 3) features a flat frame design. It measures 9.1mm in thickness and weighs 207g. The IP57-rated device for dust and water resistance comes in purple, white, and black color options.

The handset sports a 6.67-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), a centered punch-hole, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.

The phone houses a triple camera system on the rear comprising a 13MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro snapper, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it has an 8MP shooter.

The connectivity options on the smartphone include 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, GNSS, NFC, and USB Type-C. On the software front, it boots Android 12 and features a MicroSD card slot.

Last but not least, the device gets its juice from a 4,120mAh battery and comes with support for USB PD PPS charging.
