A few days back we saw the ZTE Blade S6 which comes an iPhone like design at an affordable price tag. Today, new reports indicate that the Chinese giant is all set to announce the domestic version of this device rebranded as the ZTE Q7 on February 5 2015.

According to officials there will be some changes in this new phone. First of all, the camera will be much better than the ZTE Blade S6. The said phone will come with a 13MP Sony camera which can take pictures up to 36MP in size. There will be a lot of camera specific features too. Secondly, the ZTE Q7 will unfortunately come with an older version of Android, i.e. Android 4.4 KitKat instead of the Android 5.0 Lollipop that comes with the international edition ZTE Blade S6. Other features are expected to be more or less the same on both the devices.

This is not the first time we are hearing about ZTE Q7. About two months back, the same device had passed TENAA which revealed most of the specs of the device. The ZTE Q7 is expected to come with the same Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor as the S6 along with 2GB and 16GB internal storage. The earlier leak  said that the phone will support all major connectivity options like TD-LTE, LTE-FDD, WCDMA, TD-SCDMA, and GSM.

The pricing of the international ZTE Blade S6 was $250, however we are not quite sure whether the domestic pricing will be around the same figure. Anyways, we are just three days away from the official unveiling, so lets wait for more details.

We had seen ZTE’s new phone ZTE Q7 gets listed on TENAA at the start of December, and at that time, we had no idea when this “iPhone 6 clone” was going to be released in the market. But today I saw this ZTE Blade S6 Gets Listed On Online stores, and it looked similar to the ZTE Q7 on TENAA. And the title said “ZTE Blade S6 5.0 inch Android 5.0 4G Smartphone”, could it have a 5 inch display, LTE connectivity and Android 5.0? This is totally different than the specifications of ZTE Q7 on TENAA. So, it could be a new phone from ZTE for International market.

And from the site we can see this ZTE Blade S6 can be pre-ordered from January 29. If that Online store becomes ZTE’s official distributor this time, how can they make people to pre-order it before ZTE released the product? So this  ZTE Q7 will be released  before January 29?

And also We got 2 hands on pictures from the same account that leaked the renders for Mi5.

The phone seemed to have a 5 inch  2D glass screen  and the metal body design makes it like a topper of midrange phones. It could be a killer to many mid-range phones if it really has Android 5.0.

That being said, this handset looks almost identical to the ZTE Q7. It looks so similar, that it could be the International edition of the ZTE Q7. I don’t know what to think of this to be honest, these specs look rather solid and considering if this is supposed to be really affordable, I believe it would sell well. Despite the fact that the iPhone 6 has received a lot of criticism over its design (it is probably the most criticized first generation phone in the last several years), this has not stopped some Chinese cellphones from copying it. Beside the Dakele 3 which was revealed yesterday, another “Chinese iPhone 6” has arrived.

Today, a new phone from ZTE was discovered at TENAA. Its model number is ZTE Q7 and it received its network license on November 28. This phone (2G/3G/4G) has support for TD-LTE, LTE-FDD, WCDMA, TD-SCDMA, and GSM, as well as dual-SIM. Like for its Nubia series, ZTE also added a small round circle for this phone. Its overall design looks strikingly similar to the iPhone 6. Fortunately, it does not have a protruding camera.

As for its specifications, this phone sports a 5.5-inch 720p display screen. It uses a 1.5GHz octa-core chipset (Snapdragon 615), has 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM, a 3mp front-facing camera, and an 8mp rear-facing camera. It also runs the Android 4.4.4 operating system.
