Recently, Philips’ new cellphone, the Philips V387, formally entered the market. By now, many stores already have it on stock. Its official price is 1699 RMB but in some stores, it is 1799 RMB (293.60 USD). The first batch of phones are the black versions.
The Philips V387’s appearance is similar to the I908/I928. Even though the outline is similar to the I908’s, its mid-frame is rounder. Its thickness is less than 10mm. A power-saving switch is located on the side. In addition, it is powered by a 4400mAh battery and can be charged with a 9V+1.5A charger. You can make 2-hour calls just by charging it for 6.5 minutes.
Other than the battery, the V387’s specs are not much to look at. It sports a 5-inch 720p OGS screen and 2mp/8mp dual-camera, uses the MTK6582 quad-core chipset, and has 1G RAM and 8G ROM. Its OS is the Android 4.2 and it supports WCDMA/GSM networks.
