Xiaomi Mi 5 was just announced a couple of hours and we are all now excited to see a hands-on with the device. We were present at MWC 2016 in Barcelona, Spain where the company showcased its newest device. Luckily, among the hundreds of attendees, we got a short time with the Xiaomi Mi 5 and the experience was quite good.
The phone features a similar 3D back design as the Mi Note, but its better in many ways. There’s a ceramic version of the phone as well, which boasts of up to 9H Mohs hardness. It super thin, measuring just 7.25mm in thickness and lightweight as well, weighing just 129 grams. The overall size is compact, thanks to its small 5.15-inch display with thin bezels.
Under the hood, the phone features SD820 with 3GB / 4GB RAM, 32/ 62GB /128GB storage options. There a powerful 16MP Sony IMX298 with DTI pixel isolation tech, PDAF and 4-Axis Image stabilization (OIS). Other notable features include a 3000mAh battery with QC 3.0, 4G LTE, VoLTE USB Type-C, Infrared, and NFC.
