LeEco held an event today where they announced two new TVs: a 65-inch 4K Smart TV called the LeEco X65S that sells for 5699 Yuan (~$820) and an 85-inch Smart 3D TV with Dolby Vision technology named the uMax85 that costs a whooping (~$5755)!!! LeEco knows not every one can afford their new TVs but that doesn’t mean you should still miss out on the content they have to offer, so they launched a Smart Home Theatre TV kit that you can hook up to your ‘dumb” TV which costs just ¥1999 (~$288).
Specifications
The Smart TV kit features a 64-bit Cortex-A72 quad-core processor and an integrated Mali-T820 GPU. There is 4GB RAM and 32GB of built-in storage on board, bluetooth connectivity, and WiFi.
The speaker part of the system is a 7-unit 120W stereo broken into a unit with six forward facing speakers and an 80W wireless sub-woofer. So, while you won’t be enjoying the audio quality from the Harman Kardon unit in the uMax85, you should still get pretty great sounds from this unit.
