Yesterday, Meizu had confirmed that it will be holding a launch event on Aug. 28 to announce the Meizu 16s Pro.  The key specifications of the smartphone have already surfaced through its premature listing on the official website of Meizu. Today, the Meizu 16s Pro with its model number m1973 has appeared on AnTuTu benchmarks. The smartphone has recorded 460K+ on the benchmarking platform.

The AnTuTu listing does not confirm the screen size of the Meizu 16s Pro. However, it states that it carries support for full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2232 pixels. As the rumor mill had speculated, the Meizu 16s Pro is indeed fueled by the Snapdragon 855+ chipset that includes Adreno 640 graphics.

Meizu 16s Pro AnTuTu

The SoC of the Meizu 16s Pro is coupled with 6 GB of RAM and it features an internal storage of 128 GB. It could be equipped with UFS 3.0 storage. The Android 9 Pie OS comes preinstalled on the device. AnTuTu claims that the smartphone has a front camera of 20-megapixel and its rear panel has a 48-megapixel triple camera system. The average benchmarking score recorded by the smartphone on AnTuTu benchmarks is 464,411.

Meizu 16s Pro Specifications and Price (Rumored)

The display of the Meizu 16s Pro is speculated to 90Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 120Hz. It will come with an in-display fingerprint reader. The smartphone may come in 8 GB and 12 GB RAM options. Also, it is speculated to be available in multiple storage editions such as 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB. The Android 9 Pie OS could be overlaid with the latest Flyme 8 UI.

The Meizu 16s Pro could be housing a 4,010mAh battery. The secondary lens of its triple camera setup could be 20-megapixel. The 3C listing of the Meizu 16s Pro had revealed that it may come with a charger that supports up to 24W fast charging. The other rumored features of the smartphone include Meizu Pay, Super mTouch and wireless charging. The 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage edition of the phone may have a price tag of 3,699 Yuan (~$527).
