Earlier this month, reliable tipster Ishan Agarwal had revealed Samsung is working on Galaxy M01 and Galaxy M01s smartphones. He did not reveal any information on the specs of the phone. However, the monikers suggested that they could be arriving with entry-level specs like the Galaxy A01. A fresh report on SamMobile has revealed some vital information on the storage and color editions of the Galaxy M01.

The publication claims that the Galaxy M01 will be heading to markets like India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Russia. The smartphone is expected to arrive in three color variants such as black, blue and red.

The Galaxy M01 that has a model number of SM-M015G was spotted on Geekbench with an unspecified Snapdragon chipset that has a base frequency of 2.02GHz. The Geekbench listing further revealed that it has 3 GB of RAM and it runs on Android 10 OS. It scored 856 and 3327 in the single-core and multi-core tests of the benchmarking platform.

The report further reveals that the Galaxy M01 will be arriving with an internal storage of 32 GB. Considering that it is an entry-level phone, it may not come in a higher storage option. The handset will have a microSD card slot for expanding its storage.

The other details of the Galaxy M01 smartphone are currently under the wraps. Also, there is no new information on the Galaxy M01s. There is a possibility that the Galaxy M01s may debut in the second half of the year as the upgraded version of the upcoming Galaxy M01 phone.
