Last year, Samsung launched the Galaxy Fold in China and there was another China Telecom edition of the device named Samsung W20 5G. Today, the South Korean company revealed that it will be launching the Samsung W21 5G foldable phone on Nov. 4. The handset had recently appeared at TENAA with its entire specifications recently. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has already launched in China. The Samsung W21 5G will be a China Telecom variant of the same device.

Samsung W21 5G November 4 launch

The launch event of the Samsung W21 5G will take place at 7:30 PM (local time). The images of the device at TENAA had revealed that it will be coming in a unique gold color finish, which is not available on the regular Galaxy Z Fold 2. The specifications of the Samsung W21 5G are identical to the Z Fold 2.

The Samsung W21 5G (model number – SM-W2021) measures 128.2 x 159.2 x 6.2mm and it weighs 288 grams. It has a cover display of 6.23 inches that offers a resolution of 816 x 2260 pixels. The inner screen measures 7.53 inches and it produces a resolution of 2208 x 1768 pixels. Both display sport punch-hole design. It has a 2090mAh + 2160mAh rated capacity dual-cell battery. The 3C certification of the phone revealed that it could be arriving with support for 25W fast charging.

Samsung W21 5G TENAA

The Samsung W21 5G will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset that clocks at 3.09GHz. The SoC is coupled with 12 GB of RAM and it has an internal storage of 512 GB. It lacks a microSD card slot.

The W21 5G has a front-facing camera of 12-megapixel. The camera system available on the backside of the device has three 12-megapixel cameras. The handset is loaded with Android 10 OS and it also features an in-screen fingerprint reader.
