Earlier today (13th June 2022), Xiaomi announced that it will be launching a new MIJIA product for crowdfunding in China. The company will be listing the new MIJIA Smart Alarm Lamp on the Xiaomi Mall platform.
As per official notes, the new MIJIA Smart Alarm Lamp arrives with a new wake up light system that uses a full spectrum lamp beads to offer a Sun like experience. To put things simply, it houses 198 array LED lights that have 15 kinds of white noise and 10 kinds of dynamic scene settings. In other words, it can basically simulate a sunrise and sunset cycle all throughout the day, essentially waking up and going down with the sun thanks to its synchronization.
During sunset, the product can dynamically simulate the sunset by gradually turning off the lights on the lamp and creating white noise for an immersive sleep experience. On the other hand, during sunrise, the MIJIA Smart Alarm Lamp activates around 30 minutes prior to the alarm to simulate a sunrise by gradually turning the lights on. This basically stimulates the body to wake up naturally, rather than be jolted awake by an intrusive sound of an alarm.
Apart from just functioning as an advanced sun styled alarm clock, the new MIJIA product can also be used to aid in yoga exercises as well. Users can take regular deep breaths in sync with light rhythms in the breathing meditation mode. This is design to help relax the user’s body and mind. It is also lightweight and weighs just 1.1 kilograms and is designed for people that suffer from insomnia. The new MIJIA Smart Alarm Lamp has an original price tag of 599 yuan (roughly 89 US Dollars) and a crowdfunding 549 Yuan (roughly 82 US Dollars).
