LeEco has been maintaining a low profile lately and that is not surprising seeing as last year didn’t end well for them. Today, we learn the Chinese company has not one but two new phones in the pipeline.

The LeEco phones with model numbers LEX656 and LEX659 were seen on TENAA recently. There is a high probability that both phones are variants of the same model. Both devices sport 5.5-inch 1080p displays, weigh 168g and have dimensions 152.4 x 75.1 x 7.5mm. They also have the same 3900mAh battery capacity.

The LEX659 has 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a 2.3GHz deca-core processor. The phone runs Android 6.0 and will be available in gold, red, silver, white, gray, and five other colors.

The LEX659 employs the same dual-camera design we saw show up several times last year in LeEco devices that sadly didn’t launch. The body appears to be made from aluminium and there is a fingerprint scanner positioned below the camera setup. The images of the sides shows the camera housing is a bit raised. Volume rocker and power button are on the right and the SIM tray is on the left.

The image used for the LEX656 on TENAA’s website is almost the same as that of the LEX659, with the only difference being the color. But some other sources say the LEX656 is the single camera variant of the LEX659. That should not come as a surprise for those who know the LeEco Cool1 Dual and the LeEco Cool1C.

There is no news as to when these devices will be released but we hope this is not the last time we hear of them.
